Hermitage Park Hotel

This was a clean tidy & not very big hotel. Had to mark down on facilities as website said there was a restaurant, This was not open & according to people we spoke to the restaurant had not been open for a while. The breakfast was very good & plentiful & the staff were very nice & helpful. Happy with the hotel for what we paid

The hotel advertised a restaurant on its website but it wasn't open in the evenings & hadn't been for a while. Shame this wasnt mentioned on the website.

The location was brilliant as we were going to the Victoria biker bar. Brilliant that they had downstairs rooms. Room was spacious. Lots of amenities around within short walking distance. Price was OK too considering it was New year eve. Staff was friendly.

Room 23 was very cold when we checked in at 2pm, no extra heater. Room was a little tired and flush was temperamental on the toilet. The breakfast was disappointing as all pre prepared on hot plates as only 1 member off staff with it being new years day, it was all cold. Pillows was very thin.

The staff were very helpful.and friendly . The rooms were spacious and bed very comfy .the hotel was quiet and rooms were clean . As much coffee n tea and biscuits as you required. Breakfast was available at a cost of £10,00 .Free car parking .

My radiator in the bathroom was really hot at night couldn't turn it off . Downstairs room so couldn't open the window at night .had a fan in the room . The offered to have maintenence look or change room but I was all unpacked and too tired to bother .

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and yet again I can highly recommend. It's a fairly standard hotel by way of amenities etc, but it's very welcoming and clean and the staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered. I'll be back I'm sure! Particular thanks to Karen on reception who was so helpful in printing off a couple of important pages for me, and being so friendly when I called to confirm my room details.

The hotel offers excellent affordability. Being a 3-star establishment, it met my expectations in terms of what I would typically expect from such a rating. The breakfast was delightful, featuring a buffet spread and the option to request items that were readily available in the kitchen.

I have previously stayed at this hotel and there is not much that I don't like.

Clean, quiet rooms with good blackout curtains. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Ideal location close to town centre. Don't be put off by risk of noise from the neigjbouring bikers pub. Rooms are well away from it and we didn't hear anything.

Decor is a bit 'tired' and the building won't win architecture prizes but this didn't dretract from the stay.

perfect location for attending BSB races at Castle Donnington. Added bonus of having Victoria Biker’s Pub on the doorstep. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The bar and lounge area were very spacious. lovely breakfast as well. All in all a really good base for what we needed. Would definitely recommend and would use again

Very good value, hotel looking a little tired, bedroom was spacious and comfortable and looked to have been recently updated, but bathroom was small and in need of a refresh. Nice touches like plenty of tea and coffee making materials and biscuits. Cooked breakfast was included in the room rate. Hotel was not serving evening meals on the date I stayed, but bar was open. Reastauraants only 5 minutes walk into town centre.

Bathroom was in need of replacement / refresh and was small and dark.

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Helped with recommendations for places to eat as the restaurant was closed of an evening. They also matched the price of my previous stay when I booked another week.

The bathrooms could do with a little upgrade although they are clean and sufficient

Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. We had a problem with our television but it was soon sorted out and they moved us to another room. The breakfast was good with quite a variety of cereals and cooked breakfast. We were given a quiet room away from the road, which is what we requested.

Nothing, it was all good and we will definitley stay there again. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that there was no choice of spread for the toast, there was only butter some other hotels have a second choice of a vegetable spread.
