The hotel itself is lovely, very modern and comfortable, we however stayed in the Stable block which also was very modern and the bed was very comfortable, it had a beautiful bathroom and nice thick white towels. we had a little kitchen area with a microwave, fridge and the usual kettle and cups. if you have a pet they also provide a couple of dog bowls. which is a nice touch. The staff are all lovely from the lady on reception to the waiting staff at breakfast, the owner should be proud of the people he has chosen to work here, they do him credit. it is a very popular place to come to as far as I could see and quite rightly so as the owners have thought of everything to make a visit there enjoyable, very Scandinavian in the outside area with the natural wood and furs to sit on, lights etc, all rather beautiful. I cant fault the thought that has gone in to making the house a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The noise in the Stable room, we were expecting noise on the first night due to a wedding, this was not a problem as we had be warned, however the second night was equally noisy which surprised me. if I stayed again I would try the hotel and hope that it was a bit more soundproof. I would stay again but not in the Stable block due to the noise. I would like to add that when the people went home/to their rooms it was lovely being in the Stable block and peaceful.

We booked The Lodge at Duxford after being given concert tickets to attend Sir Tom Jones in concert at Audley End House, we didnt spend a huge amount of time at the lodge due to the timescale but what we did was amazing, the staff were really friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble, they even had a member of staff in the bar making cocktails which were amazing on our return from the concert which was a really lovely touch and very much welcomed. The breakfast was really lovely and nicely presented. The room we stayed in was clean, tidy and comfortable as was the bathroom which has a lovely large shower, There was a decanter in the room with a very yummy drink in which again was a lovely touch. There is some lovely outdoor areas it was just a shame we didnt have more time to spend there. Audley End House was a short taxi ride away so the lodge was in an excellent location, the staff gave us a contact number for a taxi company who were very polite and prompt, a big thank you!

Lovely hotel very tastefully decorated with some quirky furnishings. Fab loft room with a huge bathroom that had the 'wow' factor with a stand alone bath. Great to be able to open the bedroom windows too for a nice breeze. Super staff who kindly kept the bar open for a much needed drink on our return from a concert at Audley End House and breakfast was good too. Nice garden and enough parking spaces for all of the residents. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back if we are ever visiting the area again.

I have stayed at the lodge numerous times. The staff are always great, and the hotel is really comfortable. It can be difficult to get a room here as it is popular. It isn't part of a group, no cookie cutter rooms. The food is good. There is a bar, outside dining area and pods.

The outside dining area was right outside my room (it has a little kitchen). The people sat there were making quite a lot of noise until 2330. Not great for me working next day. Also, the kitchen isn't checked, so things can be missing.

Beautiful location and surroundings

I paid for a specific room but it was changed unbeknown to us just because we said we may be checking in late. We actually checked in at 3pm and due to weather conditions, the cinema night was on outside the room we had been moved to so they accommodated the people who paid for the stable room which meant we were disturbed us as we came back earlier than expected so could not relax. Bathroom sink was loose from the wall.

Excellent place and great staff Lovely ground and able to sit outside for bar Breakfast was excellent. Excellent pub round corner for evening meal (I think The Lodge just does pizzas but didn't explore)

Slightly further from Airfield than thought and not quite walkable due to main road so got cab A little expensive but it was excellent so I guess you pay for that quality. It was pressie for my hubby and his friend for their birthday along with airshow tickets.

Location was perfect for the air museum were our daughter had a tiger moth flight booked. Breakfast was really nice, the staff were exceptional, very polite and friendly and best wishes to the young girl on her first housekeeping shift yesterday, the stable room was good, near car park and ground level as both of us has health problems,

Would have been nice if we were in stables next to our family but they were put in a loft room which they said was nice but a lot of stairs, which neither of us would have coped with that as I’ve a heart condition and my wife has mobility issues, but it was only one night so not a real problem

We loved the style, and the hospitality, staff were really friendly. The food was really lovely, we had dinner there both nights.

The sofa bed sadly was rock hard and very difficult to sleep on. Sadly as well the kind bed wasp also uncomfortable and the room was too hot, it would definitely benefit from air conditioning. We couldn’t leave the windows open as on the ground floor, so we all woke up very hot in the night.

The location was really good. very close to Duxford War Museum and Audley End. our room was lovely and large. The breakfasts and meals where supplied were lovely and ample.

The only comments we have were it would have been better to have more clothes storage facilities than a small rack on the same stand above the tea and coffee which was very limited. There was no where to hang long or many garments. We do now tend to carry a foldable tripod clothes rack which we used during the stay. not everyone is able to bring one with them!

This was a lovely hotel to stay in to visit the Duxford Imperial War Museum, as it was extremely close and convenient. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was very well turned out, and stylishly and comfortably furnished. The bathroom was an excellent size and the bed was very comfortable. We paid for breakfast to be included and chose the cooked breakfast which was very enjoyable.

The room only had one bath towel for two of us staying - I had to ask a couple of times to get an extra towel (although member of staff was apologetic and friendly). The breakfast room could have benefitted from condiments on all tables including sugar for hot drinks. Didn't seem to be an option for juice or water to come with the breakfast. For the pricing of the rooms, a more traditional hotel breakfast offer (e.g. including cereals, continental etc, in addition to what was offered) would have been welcome.
