Rooms are small but nice and clean. Family run business, and very friendly. The shower was amazing, very powerful and lovely and hot. Reasonable selection of beers and wines. The food is an American theme and was of good quality, served timely and hot., food prices are very reasonable. The staff are attentive and polite. Breakfast was a similar experience, the coffee is served in a percolator and was so good we had a second round. Despite the negatives listed below, I would happily stay here again. Good value for money, and nice people.

The courtyard entrance could be a showpiece but theres a large water feature thats damaged and not working. There are a few tables with seats, all of them had overflowing ashyrays, and the courtyard is littered with cigarette ends...as a non smoker thats a big negative. The wine is expensive at almost £8 for a glass of Chilean white.

We liked our English breakfast: tasty and fast served. We also liked the wine and beer served in the evening. A location is convenient if you travel by car: 4 min to Melbourne and about 20 min to Cambridge . There is a central small yard for children to play and a very large secure playground area in the adjacent field. Nights were very quiet. One-room apartments are small but warm and clean, they have separate entrances from the central yard, and paired apartments may be convenient if you travel with friends. We had a very positive experience overall.

a bit too small bathroom and a room itself (however it has enough space for beds and wardrobe, TV and a small table) . WIFI was provided only in the pub.

Great road hotel with free parking and full english breakfast. Very silent at night, with a clear view of the stars (if you are lucky and there are no clouds!).

Bathroom was a little outdated, nonetheless functional. WiFi was only avaiable close to the canteen area, signal did not reach the more distant rooms. Some more options with the breakfast would make it even better!

The accommodation was adequate for our needs, and very comfortable. It was in seperate buildings arranged around a courtyard/beer garden, and each room is named after an aeroplane. There is a children's play area just to the side of the pub/hotel, and a very large car park at the other side. There was a kettle and sachets of coffee, sugar and teabags etc, a large TV , dressing table and an open wardrobe/shelving unit in the room and a compact en suite shower room and toilet. The room was warm and looked out onto the courtyard/beer garden behind the pub, which you had to cross to access the pub/restaurant. We ate there on Friday and Saturday evening and tried different foods each night. We were not disappointed with any of the meals we had, from the home made pizza to the American style beef brisket. All were perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. The full English breakfast was one of the best we've had, including thick butchers bacon and sausage, which the owner told me was locally sourced, as are all his meats. There is a petrol station opposite the hotel too should you need to fill up with fuel. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, which we chose because of its proximity to the air show at Duxford, and would definitely stay there again.

The en suite would have benefitted from a mirror, which the owner told me had been ordered, but not yet arrived, and the sink wasn't really deep enough to fill your kettle from. The friendly owner told me they'd recently had the rooms redone to cope with demand, and that the sinks are not as deep as the previous ones. But there were solutions to every query/niggle I had.

Everything, dave and the team were amazing, they treated us like family from the moment we arrived, if you have a good sense of humour and like a laugh then it's definitely the place to stay, they are a total scream, full of fun and laughs, rooms are clean and tidy, bar well kept restaurant is American style food is delicious and all freshly cooked to order, not frozen microwave rubbish , it's proper home cooked food , it's always busy which is a good sign, we would definitely recommend staying here and it's close to Cambridge, IWM Duxford and other places of interest, many thanks to Dave and the team for a wonderful stay look forward to our next visit ,if we could give it more than 5 stars we would

Pretty courtyard. excellent shower in en suite . Room clean and freshly decorated. Good size Tv Great size fluffy white bath towels. The breakfast was good. Husband had freshly cooked full English . I enjoyed cereal and egg on toast. We also had freshly made sandwiches for lunch the day we arrived. These were nicely presented and reasonably priced.

Double bed was on small size for two people. Because of hot weather we needed the widow open overnight and proximity to main road meant it was noisy at times. The hotel is some distance from Royston( where we were visiting) and as we hadn’t travelled by car we found the taxi fares expensive.

Good, spacious room. Nicely decorated and furnished. Great touch that all rooms named after iconic aircraft, due to proximity to Duxford IWM!

Not a fan of the curtain dividing the room from the bathroom! It's a loft type room so appreciate sloping walls a problem, but if hanging space swapped to other side, a sliding door could be installed. Been with spouse 36 years but there's still bodily functions I have no wish to share!!!

Great little hotel a few miles from duxford Iwm. I booked this hotel an hour before arrival via the app and all was ready on our arrival. Dave the proprietor quickly processed our booking and showed us to our rooms. The en suite rooms were freshly decorated and spacious. The double bed was very comfortable and ample tea and coffee were available in the room. Having booked in to our rooms we went back to the bar for a few drinks. A good selection of beers & spirits available ( very nice guiness!). After a great night's sleep it was back to the bar/restaurant for a well cooked full English breakfast and a pot of fresh coffee. On the whole a great visit to a very reasonably priced hotel. I would use again if in the area.

The only thing that I could fault about this place was the very poor water pressure in the shower although this is not the hotels fault but rather that of the local water company

Overnight stay at the Coach House Hotel which was chosen at random because it was a convenient location to where we needed to be. Turned out to be a real little gem! Very clean and comfortable room which had everything we needed, not least the small but good shower! Lovely meal in the restaurant, food was very tasty and good value for money, and good selection of drinks at the bar! Good full English breakfast in the morning set us up for our journey home. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved the idea of having a room overlooking the fields at the back. It felt like staying in a cottage. It was also surprisingly quiet considering that the hotel is on a main road. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were visiting the Duxford Air Display and this hotel was only ten minutes drive from the airfield.

We had been visiting Duxford and had hoped to have a drink at the bar when we got back so were surprised to find it was closed at 9.30. Apparently everyone had left.
