Redwing Rise0

We had an amazing time in Royston and enjoyed our stay in Redwing Rise accommodation. The area was quiet and not too far from the centre (about 15 to 20minutes walk). The room was cosy, lovely, and comfortable. We slept really well. The house was really nice and clean. I loved the interior decor and the lovely candle smell. The host, Karen, was exceptional. She was SUPER friendly; VERY welcoming and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. As soon as we booked the accommodation, Karen sent us all the details we needed to get to the property, including where to park. Great communication. We had continental breakfast ready in our room. Different little Cereal boxes, pain aux chocolat, and fresh fruits. The milk was in the little fridge in the room. We also had a nice selection of teabags (I love herbal teas, so I was happy with this), coffee, and hot chocolate. It was nicely done.. PS: I really loved the "welcome message" note on the bed, I thought it was sweet😊

Everything was great!

Comfortable bed. Good tv. Clean bathroom. Nice touch to include items such as comb, toothbrush & paste, shaving stuff, in case these were forgotten. Self breakfast, with fresh milk and a kettle for tea/coffee was ok

Granola would have been a better choice than cocopops to go along with cornflakes and rice crispies. And perhaps a Greek yoghurt or other yoghurt in the fridge, besides milk

Host was fantastic, went out of her way to find suitable dairy free food for my breakfast. Cereals, muffins, fruit, croissants. Small fridge in the room was really handy for preparing packed lunches. Although not en suite, it was brilliant to have a full size bath and excellent shower for my own use. Easy parking outside the house. Netflix on TV. Comfy bed.

Room was a bit cramped for in-room dining as only space for a tiny table. Not an issue if you don't mind eating from a tray on the bed.

Karen was amazing. A warm and friendly host who went out of her way to ensure that our stay was comfortable. A truly wonderful person! We had everything we required and more, to make our stay pleasant, being such a long way from home. In addition there were lots of thoughtful extras that were really appreciated. Thank you Karen!!

Karen was an excellent host both before and on arrival. She gave us good local information plus all we needed to know about accommodation. Lots of nice personal touches. Probably hottest night of the year so we were provided with fans too. Quiet area and comfy bed. The town centre within walking distance and some nice restaurants there.

Everything good for us. There was a bathroom for our exclusive use but some may not like having to go out of room to get to it but not an issue for us.

Karen the host was impeccable and friendly. Discreet but we knew how to reach her if needed. All the amenities were as described. Continental breakfast. Rooms extremely high standard of decor and cleanliness.

Room was warm. Fan provided and blackout curtains helped enormously.

Great location, a short walk to Royston, very clean, tidy and comfortable, access to the property was simple and the breakfast was great for me.

Being a loft room, and my stay being in June, the room was very warm, a fan was provided and various skylights could be opened, however the fan was quite noisy and rain was expected limiting the value of the opening skylights, a more gentle fan could be a cheap/quick fix.

Extremely clean and comfortable, the host had made sure everything you could possibly need was in the room. Lovely bathroom, lots of information regarding the local area was in a helpful booklet in the room.

There really was nothing we did not like all was perfect.

When I arrived there was plenty of places to park. Arrived late in evening but had arranged a self check-in so no problem there. Once I got into the room it was beautifully prepared. Any provisions you could think of were provided here (eye mask, ear plugs, loads of breakfast choice, mini-fridge etc). Karen was very friendly and in a nice quiet area with a comfy bed. Fantastic stay.

seriously could not of done more everything well thought of and covered really comfortable bed and place in general thank you for all the lovely little touches.

only niggle, the shower was so difficult to get to a steady temperature. it went from ice cold to kettle water. couldn’t get it right :D other than that. perfect.
