Inglenook Guest House

Amazing breakfast cooked to our liking and with a great cooked vegetarian option. Great location for exploring Ingleton and nearby locations with decent bus links to other towns and an easy walk into the village for food etc. Lovely lovely hosts (and dog and cat!) and just a really friendly atmosphere overall.

The room was a little chilly because of the wet weather and no heating because it was August, but this wasn't really a problem as there were blankets available and our wet shoes dried eventually!

Lovely hosts, really comfortable room and great breakfast. The location is fantastic for walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks! We took our small dogs and they were welcomed, even allowed to come to breakfast with us which was nice. Thank you very much.

My one only comment was that both the shampoo and conditioner bottles had run out but were left empty in the shower, I hadn't brought any of my own so that was disappointing. But again, I probably could've asked, it was just late and I didn't want to impose.

The owners were some of the loveliest people we've ever met! They were warm and welcoming from start to finish, offering recommendations, leaving us cookies and fresh milk, seeing us off! They couldn't do enough for us! The room was spotless and all of the facilities were great. We didn't go down for the included breakfast because we were exhausted from our drive but the fact it was included in the price was great value for money and Im sure we would have loved it if we weren't too tired! Overall it was a really lovely stay in a really lovely location (five minutes from the ingleton waterfalls trail and ingleton village centre). Definitely recommend!

Lovely hosts, could not do enough for you , nice location near to village centre but not close enough to be noisy. Breakfast was smashing, lovely home made sausage and local produce too. Best morning tea I have had for a while whilst away. Would thoroughly recommend this lovely ,homely guest house.

Parking could be a bit of an issue as it is in short supply on this stretch of road, especially if you have wheelchairs to get in and out of your vehicle, you need a bit of room other than that not a great deal to dislike.

The breakfast was exceptional ! One of the best we've had anywhere !

The Bathroom Door ! In our room it opened out onto the bed. The person sleeping on the right hand side could not get out if you left the door open. If one of you is a light sleeper it's best to leave the bathroom door open so if anyone needs the loo in the night they do not wake them by opening & closing doors. This could be easily fixed with a 'sliding door kit ' (ironmongery direct ) using the same door.

What a warm welcome we had (even with our muddy dog!) The owners couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast and the guest house is centrally located for the falls, caves and countryside. You can have a wonderful holiday without having to drive. There is so much to do in the locality. Our room was spotless and the biscuits in a jar were a lovely touch. We will definitely be back.

The worst bit was having to leave!

Amazing breakfast, was very surprised and happy to hear that parmentier potatoes were on the menu :) And the early riser breakfast was also absolutely fabulous (a bacon, sausage and egg bap perfect for taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge :) The bed was super comfy, lovely clean bathroom, hot shower, and lots of nice details - great tea and coffee and fresh milk incl a mini fridge to keep it chilled. And above all Zena and Tim were kind, hospitable, and very welcoming. Fantastic value overall.

The only thing I missed was shampoo / shower gel in the bathroom because (like an idiot) I didn't bring any. Miniatures are obviously environmentally bad but refillable dispensers in the shower might have saved me a trip to the Co-op. But this is a very minor gripe.

Inglenook Guest House is a special place. Great location and accommodations. Tim and Zena are kind, warm, and fun hosts. We had a lovely time conversing with them throughout our stay, and Tim was happy to share local recommendations with us that made our trip extra special. The breakfast was an experience in itself - so many choices, generous portions, and so delicious. Between Zena’s porridge and Tim’s scrambled eggs, we were spoiled. We fell in love with the Yorkshire Dales and we know we will be back. When we do, we will stay here!

Fantastic stay at Inglenook Guest House. My friend and were completing the Three Peaks Challenge and Tim provided us with a delicious breakfast butty to take with us on the walk which kept us going! The room facilities were excellent, the bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean and immaculate. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Communication was great. Tim really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I would recommend Inglenook to everyone and hope to return one day.

The owners could not have been more helpful and went over and above to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was comfortable, clean and inviting with ample storage and brew making facilities. Breakfast was nothing short of a feast! Additional soap and toilet roll was provided in a basket outside the room and was a really nice touch. The pets were really friendly and added a comforting touch to an already welcoming guesthouse.

The bathroom was very small and the shelving unit had to be moved depending on whether you were in the shower or using the toilet. Having a traditional toilet roll holder so the shelving wasn't needed may have been a better use of space.
