London Marriott Hotel Twickenham

The staff front desk was super helpful. The cleaning staff was very accommodating with our requests. The room was well maintained and very nice. There was a misunderstanding with one of our breakfast requests during the last two days of my trip with the front desk staff. However, the manager (I believe) himself apologized for that mistake and let us have the discounted price. I really appreciated that.

The TV did not work in the last three days of our trip. We could not get it turned on. The property needs to be upgraded in that regard and at least invest in smart TVs or something.

We booked a Pitch View Suite as we were doing the Tour of the grounds and Museum so it was an amazing addition to our experience. The main bed was amazing really large and comfortable. The bed in the lounge area was a 2 seater fold out settee which we were NOT expecting and my husband and I could hardly both fit on it. The image online is totally different to what we actually got.

Bed in lounge area - fold out settee The room was sold to accommodate 4 - 2 doubles but the pop out could not really be classed as a double and was folded out to ground level which would make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues!! Get in and out of it was … challenging to say the least!

The staff were efficient, friendly and apologetic for a delay we didn't think was needed- there was a check in taking place as we arrived, it was merely a minute or so to get ourselves checked in too. The attention to service was appreciated. Before our visit, we had emails asking if we required anything and explained how match days differ to a regular stay. I was also asked if we required parking so that it could be booked before we arrived. The location was great for our visit to The Stoop. Just a few minutes over the road.

Expensive breakfast if you have dietary requirements. I am coeliac and vegetarian, so other than a few items, I cannot eat very much to warrant £12/18. I understand the Marriott will no longer be here soon and I think it showed as even basics, such as the amount tea and coffee available and little touches in the bathroom were either reduced or gone completely.

Good sized family room. Great gym and pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi, which we enjoyed daily - staff very attentive too. Excellent hotel location. Tesco extra is conveniently at the end of the road. Great having the addition of a mini fridge in the bedroom, especially as the purpose of our trip was for our daughter to attend a ballet summer school, so this was perfect for her packed lunch food daily. Fantastic view from our bedroom on floor 5, over London. Staff were very friendly. We cannot comment on the food hotel as we dined out.

Bedroom was a little tired in places. The safe in our bedroom was a bit temperamental, but we mentioned this at reception, and someone arrived to take a look at it. TV in bedroom was a real pain....very temperamental and kept turning itself off. We mentioned this to reception who gave us a new remote control which made no difference. The shower (over the bath) was useless - no water pressure at all. So we had to shower at the health club, or bath.

Excellent service and facilities generally, whether in the room or other hotel facilities. Breakfast was good value for money and there was a good selection of cold or hot food. Staff were very helpful. Good free wifi throughout the hotel. The room was modern and well fitted out with free bottled water and a range of bathroom products available.

Parking arrangements could be easier. The car park is a 5-10 minutes' walk from the hotel entrance and not great for anyone with limited mobility. Having said that, there is plenty of space and it's good to have free parking available in this area of London. The only other disappointment was that our room was a very long walk from the lifts down long corridors. Again, this was not great for us as my wife is currently suffering from limited mobility because of a hip problem. In future, I would request a room closer to the lifts.

Free for all any Tom Dick and Harry allowed in on match day no where to sit and relax apart from a few tables , any private areas where being used for corporate reasons. Food on match day a joke pizza warmed up in a tiny over . Residents could not eat till 930pm food utter garbage staff very poor quality of food for the Marriott the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in the world in a Marriott hotel . Should be a residents bar and eating area for residents at all times we are major paying customers paid over £1000 for two nights could have stayed at the Ritz cheaper and have done so .

The location was perfect and the hotel was comfy. Most of the staff were lovely especially at the bar.

I had to pay a £50 deposit to make sure we didnt cause any damage which I wasnt aware of and wasnt sure why.

Great way to spend the weekend. No travel rushes, great security aspect with only being able to travel in the lift to room floors if you had a room key. Breakfast was amazing and always plenty available.

Cleaning staff barely touching the door with a "knock" then walking in to myself in the shower (naked) & husband sleeping oh and it was 08:15 in the morning. Really not what any guest wants and they then kept coming back so I did tell them to go away and come back at a reasonable hour like after half 9 in the morning. Didn't help we were staying another night yet so didn't really need them to come in either.

My husband and I recently stayed at the London Marriott Hotel with our two young children for a long weekend and we had a fantastic experience. Upon arrival the duty manager Tsvetan upgraded our room to one overlooking the stadium as my husband enquired about the rugby match taking place. The room was cleaned thoroughly every morning, it had modern amenities in every part of the room, especially the bathroom, and a fantastic view of the rugby games which you can watch from the balcony. It felt like front row seats which created a great atmosphere. Tsvetan was extremely professional, personable and highly efficient. Nothing was ever a problem and he acknowledged us every time we passed through the hotel. The ladies at reception Harjeet & Ellie were also lovely and extremely accommodating. They too would say hello every time we would pass reception and offer snacks or raincoats etc to take with us on our day out. The staff took time to get to know us even on a short visit. The hotel experience was very enjoyable, the staff and service made it so, to the point that we will most certainly be returning.

We had to move rooms as the bath plug wasn't working but to be fair, the management team sprang to action and we only had to wait 15 minutes to move. My colleague loved her breakfast and rated the selection very appealing. The hotel is busy and buzzy yet the staff made time to help us and made us feel special

Not much. We couldn't use the bath because the plug mechanism was faulty, but the team moved us immediately and gave us a lovely city facing room on the 5th floor. We were really happy, thank you team!
