Hilton London Syon Park

Nice location in Syon park, classic luxury rooms, good spa and pool, very good food in the restaurant

Staff on reception is not very helpful and competent. We had very bad issue with our credit card. When we checked in the hotel we gave our credit card for authorisation. Every morning they charged us everything we used the previous day - spa, restaurant etc. After we checked out and came back to our country they charged us second time for the same things, the amount was around 200£. We called them several times but they were refusing to cancel the wrong transactions. After we came back in our country our bank helped us to return our money that they charged us 2 times but it took 2 weeks and bad emotions.

My stay was just perfect ❤️ the staff were incredibly friendly, the spa facilities were wonderful, the food was wonderful. I had mentioned it was my birthday so they had balloons on the door on arrival, lovely desert cake saying happy birthday and also got two drinks on the house! Guys my room was spacious , beautiful, clean. I took a walk on the grounds and that also was such a nice walk seeing the greenery and finding a second bar space which I also loved. By the end I thought it was money well so so well spent. Perfect one day get away, I felt like I was on holiday. I’ve been recommending to all my friends and now I am absolutely recommending this hostel to you also. Do it, you absolutely not regret it. Hope it turns out to be the perfect break you need too. xx xxx

The room was spacious and comfortable

I did not like the charge of 20 pounds each for use of the pool for 90 minutes!!

The staff really made this stay an amazing experience from the front of reception to breakfast staff! Breakfast was really good as well with lots of options. Location was perfect place for walks and the Syon Lounge was a good place for food and music. Giving this hotel a 9 because of the staff.

The spa looks very outdated and needs refurbishment (think the whole hotel could do with refurbishment and updating). There wasn’t any shower caps in the room

nice grounds and decent sized rooms. pretty clean and well maintained

the corridors to the rooms were exceptionally dark and not very well lit! not great for the older population. bathroom was way too hot the towel rack almost burnt me as a corner of my arm touch it. there was no method of turning it off. I felt pretty suffocated after taking a shower as the ventilation system did not seem to be there. the room temperature was warm even though I turned the ac or fan to 18C and had to open the balcony door as it got really uncomfortable at night. If these things would have worked I would have said it was excellent.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Signing in was easy. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning worked without being too noisy. There were tea and coffee making facilities and there was an iron and ironing board in the room. The restaurant had a good choice of food that was well cooked and presented. There was a good wine list (though a tad overpriced). There was an excellent breakfast buffet with a wide choice of options from traditional British to Continental.

For some reason, good hotels seldom provide a loo brush in the bathroom. Surely, one wants to leave the toilet clean for one's partner. My wife would have liked a bath as well as a shower.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and very good service from restaurant staff. We thought the location was great as were going to an international rugby game at Twickenham and bus stop with link to stadium was just outside hotel.

Unfortunately our room was overlooking the Syon longe which was extremely noisy playing loud music for the 3 nights of our stay up until 3am. Not what you expect for a hotel picked for it’s quiet location and this spoilt the stay with little sleep due to noise!

Food at the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is located in a park - it felt really peaceful and relaxed. The rooms were spacious enough. The bed was comfortable. The bar was quiet, so no queuing for drinks. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Almost all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Complementary drinks vouchers and a full apology were given because one room was not ready on our arrival.

The restaurant/waiter said they couldn't provide the drinks listed on the menu. I had a number of small flies in my bathroom. There was also a cobweb on a higher bathroom shelf. Some of the hotel team seemed unsure of their work or a bit pressured. Personal taste - I felt the room decor was a bit out-of-date, a bit showy rather than luxurious. And a black washbasin - it showed every mark very quickly.

If you like a bit of luxury then this hotel is definitely for you. Lots of free parking available Big room with plenty wardrobe space Big shower with its own sound system Balcony Tea and coffee making facilities in room Bedside plug sockets Very friendly and helpful staff Hotel bar Nice setting for buffet breakfast albeit a bit crowded due to being a big hotel Not too far off motorway network and near to Heathrow airport and Twickenham stadium.

No tube station nearby and because of engineering works on the railway meant it was over an hour into central London via public transport. This is out of the hands of the hotel though. I think the normal travel time into London Waterloo from Syon Lane station is about 40mins They could prob improve the lighting outside a bit from the main road as it was a bit dark.and secluded walking back to the hotel late at night. We found a quicker way in via the delivery access gate which I'm not sure that pedestrians are supposed to use but it was better lit and a lot faster to get to the hotel from the road
