The location next to Kew Gardens, 2 nice restaurants and 1 good fish and chips ( within 5 min walk distance). The room had one ensuite bathroom.

Lack of any facilities to prepare meals and/or fridge to store food. Preparing breakfast and ready-to-eat lunch for later in the day on the dresser was tricky without damaging anything or spilling fruit juice while cutting the fruits. If you are planning to stay bring disposable cutlery and plates.

This is by far the best place I've booked in London. Value for money, clean, and spacious. Geoff is the best host. He was prompt and very helpful with all our needs and extra requirements. Fresh towels are also given. The tube passes by a few meters behind the property but you can barely hear it behind the double glazing. The rooms are excellent and accessible by a gate into a small garden area. If you're studying at Kew it is only a 20 min walk away, and Kew Gardens station is around the corner for the District line to central London. I've been to London 5 times and this stay is at the top of my list.

The room needs a bit of attention. One of the lights didn't work and a chair was broken. Other than that everything was clean and perfectly functional.

We actually took 2 separate rooms, one for my wife and I and another for our 3 children so there was plenty of room for all of us. The rooms are behind a large 2 story Victorian house in what was possibly originally a stable and are well appointed and finished. The location is a short walk from Kew Gardens tube station and even shorter walk to restaurants, pubs and shops.

Parking was a bit of a challenge - weekends are fine but weekdays you will have to pay for parking somewhere.

Great location! The property is located very near the Kew Gardens (they are paid btw) which were gorgeous. The metro station is a 8 minute walk away from the property and you can get to central London in 45 minutes! Because of flight delays, we arrived past the 11PM check in limit but Geoff was very comprehensive and helpful in that regard!

Room we stayed in is very close to the metro line and we could hear the trains passing by

Better than the pictures, it has cooking facilities and a fridge. The shower was a dream and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning when requested, fresh towels and bedding etc. Not far if you're working in Richmond (it's walkable) and a wonderful quiet area, close to a big Sainsbury's and Kew station.

The TV could've been bigger and the WiFi was a bit temperamental but the value was very good for price compared to others we looked at!

The host was ever so accommodating to me and my daughter. Geoff on his own accord upgraded our bookings which I thought was a truly lovely gesture. We had a very private and lovely stay at Kew Rooms. Rara Restaurant nearby gave us a discount when they found out we stayed at Kew Rooms. Geoff also allowed us to leave our luggages past the required time for checkout till our journey to Heathrow. I would love to see the accommodation's garden in spring and my girl, the resident CAT there. It was also lovely (at least to me) to hear the gentle sound of the trains passing (very intermittent) at the tracks behind our room. Kew Gardens is within walking distance, we even walked to the big shopping centre across the bridge - in fact everything is. I hope to return with my entire family soon to stay at Kew Rooms.

As with most, if not all, accommodations or homes in the UK, I find the staircases "challenging". I only hope that as I get even older, I am able to manage the staircases in UK - lol. But I can always book a ground floor unit at Kew Rooms!!

The location is convenient to the National Archives, Kew Gardens, and the Kew rail/Underground station. It is also very close to some restaurant life (Italian, Lebanese, Nepalese restaurants for dining in, a pub menu at the nearby hotel, and Indian and a fish and chip take out) in a pleasant neighborhood. The room accommodations were good for a single person traveling alone, but two adults with or without a child would be a tighter fit. The hosts were very engaging and accommodating, and enjoyable to chat with. The kitchen was well equipped, offering what one needed for cooking simply.

The bathroom sink was big enough for washing one's hands, but that's about it. Washing one's face, clearing one's mouth after brushing one's teeth, or shaving would risk head-butting the mirror. The kitchen sink proved better for those purposes. More minor quirks are that there's a bit of a squeeze between the end of the double bed and the sofa, and the lightswitches controlling the studio apartment's lighting are all clustered next to the back door, not the front entry -- a baffling arrangement.

It was in a very nice and quiet area. Safe as well. The room had everything we needed and it was comfortable. The staff was super nice. Also, the tube station is nearby and for that price it was an excellent choice. The cat was also a plus❤️

A very cozy and pleasant stay in Kew, very close to the famous Kew Gardens and to Kew Gardens Underground Station, well connected to the centre of London. The host Geoff was very welcoming and most helpful when he let me use his phone because I had to make an emergency call. I totally recommend this place to stay.

No breakfast included - tea/ coffee available in room - milk was provided in fridge. It was close to Kew Gardens, pubs, restaurants and cafe’s - 5 minute walk. We found out later we could have had a £1voucher for on street parking from host rather than paying £20 on my parking space which would have been useful to know at time of booking. However we know for next time and I would use this venue again it was good value and very convenient. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need if cooking.

No TV remote and the cord for blind was missing to close it - it was at the back of building looking out at garden/railway so it was ok. It’s quite noisy in the morning with planes and trains and traffic but that’s ok if you are used to it and on the move early.
