Lovely room tastefully decorated and furnished with all needs provided including lovely toiletries in spacious bathroom, large smart TV, books, games, poofs and cushions, cute little wardrobe, comfortable bed. Very welcoming hosts. Breakfast provided in the room which suited us very well. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and we loved the vibe of the pub and all the staff.

Bathroom sink was blocked so didn’t drain well. This wasn’t a big problem though and we didn’t report it while we were there so our bad for that. Only a tiny mirror in the bathroom, a larger one on the wall would have been welcome. Bed a little too close to TV stand so I frequently banged my thigh on it when walking past. This probably could have been easily rectified by moving the bed. We were promised apples which didn’t come, but rest of breakfast provided was spot on.

Thé free standing bath was awesome, and the furnishing were really modern. The bed was super comfortable literally didn’t want to get up! Loved the retro telephone box in the room a really quirky feature. Although the restaurant wasn’t open one morning we were left muesli, fresh strawberries, blueberries, milk, orange juice, tea/ coffee which was a lovely touch. Thé staff were really helpful and let us check out an hour later than the checkout time which was really kind of them.

Absolutely could not recommend The Sheppey highly enough! The room was so lovely (we stayed in room 3). I must admit I was smitten from the minute I walked in and saw the book selection provided on the bedside tables (Murakami fan here!). The whole room was so nice, huge comfortable bed with quality bedding, chairs to sit and read, everything you could need in one room, amazing balcony overlooking a little meadow (even a little bird friend that visited each morning), lovely shower, nice shampoo conditioner and body wash provided, so many little touches! There was freshly fruit, muesli, milk, tea and coffee provided in the room for breakfasts. The restaurant downstairs was so lovely! had such a nice vibe and the food and cocktails were delicious! They even had live music! It wasn’t too noisy having the room above the restaurant /bar which was the only reservation I had when booking. We had no issues with sound! All of the staff we met were also so nice and great at their jobs. There isn’t too much around but it’s a very short drive into Glastonbury and surrounding areas. Parking is on street but wasn’t an issue at all for us. Very pleased!

Nothing! Potentially some different options for breakfast would be good? Maybe a little toaster and some bread?

This is a 70's theme throwback which is a hidden gem. Very spacious room with absolutely everything you could need for your stay. Good quality ingredients for breakfast. Don't be put off by the hallway which is a little grubby and tired. Will be returning.

Disappointed with one of the meals although the manager/owner couldn't be more apologetic.

It was quaint and quirky, with excellent food.

Lack of Wi-Fi downstairs at a time when we needed to be contactable by family. Were unaware when booking that breakfast was cereal and fruit, provided the night before as it wasn’t a traditional bed and breakfast in that the kitchens weren’t open in the morning. Breakfast was fine, we were just a bit surprised.

Room was lovely, really quirky. Quiet so a good night's sleep was had.

The breakfast was poor, left in the room for you to have at leisure but consisted of yoghurt pots that you can purchase from the supermarket, a few fresh berries and a small selection box of museli. We stayed for 2 nights and on returning back after a busy day the room had not been made up and the breakfast pots still on the side, had to ask for the breakfast for the 2nd morning.

We loved everything about the Sheppey. Food was amazing. The owners and staff are super friendly in a relaxed informal manner. The bedroom was very comfortable... The views at the back over the stream are very special. And the walks around the levels take you into a different world! We especially love how quirky the pub is. Totally unique...

Having selected a superior room with a balcony, we were rewarded being able to sit outside looking over the stream to fields and an abundance of wildlife. The room was spacious and comfortable, having hot drink facilities. It has a spacious walk-in shower.

Such a lovely cozy pub to spend a little weekend away. The room was so amazing and when the sun was setting the sun shine directly into the room. Such a great atmosphere and the live music was excellent. We had the best time and would stay again in a heartbeat

Room was beautiful and one of the most comfortable we’ve stayed in. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and it was honestly one of the best meals we have had! Amazingly creative and beautifully cooked! Staff were always friendly. Would definitely recommend!
