The flat was lovely, modern,bright and well equipped and had lovey features of the old station in the lounge/kitchen. The bed was super comfy too! Kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay and we appreciated tea/coffee etc being there. I think Flat 2 had a better, quieter aspect, so glad we had that one.

The only criticisms I have are that the floor hadn’t been cleaned ie with soap and water! The soles of my feet were black by the end of the stay! Plus the surroundings of the shower unit were damp and damaged and one of the window blinds in the lounge wasn’t fully functional, but minor issue.

Having a parking space was really handy. It's only a 5 -10 minute walk into town as far as the Cathedral, so the location was excellent. Lovely pop-up food van (Fatso's Burgers) only 30 seconds away. Tescos is less than 5 minutes away. The bed is really comfy, and the kitchen well equipped.

The flat is above a vets. On my first night, there was a dog staying overnight at the vets and it cried and barked all night which stopped me from sleeping and was quite upsetting to listen to. The flat managers/owners were very good at responding to my messages though, and refunded me my first nights stay, which is exceptionally good customer service. The second night was quiet, so all good. If possible, check with the owner if they can ask the vets if there will be dogs staying overnight before you book.

Quirky apartment upstairs in a converted railway goods depot. Fairly quiet area with easy off street parking outside, about 10-15 minutes walk to the City centre. Convenience store and Tesco a short walk away. Apartment is modern and well equipped with cooking equipment, crockery etc. Tea coffee milk and cooking condiments are also supplied along with washing cloths, soaps etc.

Air Fresheners!! If like us you hate the smell of them and are asthma sufferers make sure you bring your inhalers. We had to quarantine two pungent fresheners plus a diffuser to the utility room and then open all the windows to purge the apartment. Floor was not swept properly and needed a brush on arrival, however the rest of the apartment was spotless. Could not hear any noise from the fan in the bathroom suggesting it was not functioning? Finally a common complaint at many places we've stayed, nowhere to hang damp coats, e.g. some hooks near the door would be great.

Fantastic apartment which was very easy to find. Has a Spar & Tesco shop down the road and a very short walk to the town. Having allocated parking was a huge bonus. Clever storage in the bedroom and a lovely large bathroom. Couldn’t have wanted anything more in the kitchen/lounge, perfect.

The water or heating system in the bedroom was noisy but once asleep didn’t matter. Small window in bedroom so a fan during hotter months would be appreciated I think. The iron & ironing board was missing from the utility room as expected.

The flat was clean, tidy, easy to access and in a great location. The little additions such as the firestick, dish washer, selection of coffees and basic cooking ingredients were fantastic. The company was great at responding whenever we had questions and we're a great help. We liked it so much that we stayed a night longer than we had planned. We definitely plan on returning and really recommend.

A minor thing was walking downstairs to the freezer but that is only because our son likes likes lollies so it may have been more frequent than most!

Good location and parking available. Just on the edge of the city but only took 15 minutes to walk to the other side so was great! Comfy bed, great shower and lovely living area. Small kitchen area but good use of space and everything you would need, didn't feel small as was open plan. Near main road but flat on opposite side of building so didn't hear traffic. We visited in March so weather a bit cooler but flat lovely and warm with good heating.

Everything is very new and working and carefully designed. The location seems a little industrial at first glance, but advantages soon become apparent. You can get anywhere in Wells on foot within 30 minutes if you are reasonably fit and well. If you are 5 minutes from the bus station, as here, you can travel most places in Somerset, without too much of the "on-foot" business. The slightly off-piste location encouraged exploration of different ways of getting to the Cathedral, Palace, and Market Place. Every domestic provision was as advertised and beyond, with details like dishwasher tablets and condiments clearly regularly replenished.

Quite by accident, we found ourselves a short stumble from Fatso's, a famously excellent burger van. They unexpectedly closed for two nights of our short visit. Hardly our host's remit, but the only thing disappointing about our visit.

The flat was nice, clean and bright. Except for the bathroom which needs some serious work. The shower door does not fit so water has damaged the area around it and it is Very unsightly. We purchased a nonslip mat for the shower because without it because it would be treacherous without it. The lockbox was very difficult to use and there were no instructions for using the cooker.
