Everything - I liked everything! What a splendid stay in an exceptionally peaceful, comfortable, and cosy b&b. I wish I could have stayed longer. The location is beautiful, not far from Wells by car or bus (or even on foot!). The room had a lovely feel to it, cosy and comforting, and the real coffee provided in the room was much appreciated. Milk and hot water were plentiful; the property has an excellent internet connection, too! Above all this, David was the most welcoming, warm, understanding, and conscientious host, and it was a pleasure to stay here and get to know him. I was genuinely sad to leave. I will not hesitate to stay here again in future, hopefully very soon!

Everything exceeded our expectations. Our room and bathroom were a wow, and our back door opened into a lovely secluded garden. David and Julie were charming and so welcoming. Everything was thoughtfully provided without the need to request anything. The place was spotlessly clean and fresh, even down to the two daffodils in the vase that were replaced by 2 more fresh flowers. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. We couldn't rate Middle Farm Cottage higher and plan to return in the summer if they will have us!

David and Julie were fabulous hosts, who were most welcoming and went out of there way to make us feel at home. We required an early breakfast and David delivered the most scrumptious food, which certainly set us up the for the day. They had gone out of their way to provide gluten free options - many thanks. We were competing in a local car event and I forgotten to explain that we were trailering a car. No matter, David and Julie were delighted that we had bought one and were helpful in how/where we should park. The huge bed was extremely comfortable and all the facilities were impeccable. A great room, with your own access so as not to disturb the main household. Other guests were staying, but we didn't see them as it was such a flying visit. Many thanks David and Julie for a wonderful stay and for all your recommendations. It was much appreciated.

Nice warm welcoming and chats with David and Julie. Cosy little room with some outdoor chairs and table that unfortunately we only used briefly due to the weather. We were kindly provided with an extra stool to place our luggage on. Great breakfast. Nice 1 hour walk to Wells via public footpaths. Short walk to the George Inn in Croscombe.

Lovely quiet location, very comfortable bed and David was the perfect host. Great to have a little fridge in the room. Super shower in the adjoining wet room. Breakfast was excellent, with home-made marmalade. And the stewed rhubarb was a hit with the yoghurt. We can also recommend dinner at The George, Croscombe, just a 10 minute walk away.

We liked it all.

All in all a most pleasant break in an oasis of calm, very relaxing, the location was excellent for touring especially cheddar gorge. There were several pubs and restaurants within a five minute drive. The breakfast was spot on and set us up for the day Nothing was too much trouble for Julie who was a delightful host. She definitely went the extra mile to make sure we were very comfortable, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and offered acres of space it was huge! Being disabled I am often concerned about the facilities but here the access was ideal and the walk in shower was perfect. We stayed in the garden room. An experience we are keen to repeat in the not too distant future!!

My only wish would be for a comfy chair to rest on in the room! there was a nice rocking chair but a little snug for 2

As soon as we arrived Julie made us feel very welcomed and at home (we didn't get to meet David until the morning of our departure as he was away). Our room was lovely and the bath in the bathroom was huge. The accommodation was a typical country cottage which is what we love. Breakfast was plentiful and Julie makes amazing homemade bread which we had toasted for breakfast. The cottage is only a couple of miles from Wells so easy to visit there. Would stay again if we were in the area and would recommend to friends & family. Thank you Julie & David for making us feel so at home for the 2 days we were there.

Fabulous! Beautiful house in the most picturesque village. Communication with David before the stay was excellent. Julie was the perfect host, she cooked us a delicious breakfast and we finished it off with homemade jams. We were attending a wedding, hence the stay, and Julie went above and beyond. They couldn't have been more hospitable. Thoroughly recommended!

David and Julie, the hosts, were extremely warm and welcoming. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and with a charming view of the garden. The breakfast was delicious, made with high quality ingredients and accommodating for food allergies. David and Julie are very knowledgeable about the local area and offer lots of advice on how to get the most from your holiday. Their home is beautiful and they genuinely seem happy to share it with guests. Would we stay again? Without a doubt!

Nothing, it's perfect the way it is.

This little cottage is located in a peaceful yet convenient location, only two miles away from Wells. The garden room is very cosy and comfortable. The shower room is spacious and there is plenty of hot water supply. The host Julie is very friendly. She made us feel very welcome and relaxed as if at home away from home. The breakfast is traditional and Julie's smile and attention to details make it quite special. We enjoyed fresh fruit, home made jam with toast and full English breakfast. After breakfast, she showed us around the house and shared lots of interesting history and stories about the family. We feel really lucky to have had such a wonderful experience.
