Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was spacious and clean with a gorgeous view of the Tor and Abbey. Mattress was a little firm but that’s just personal preference! The room was quite warm but a fan was provided, as was a hair dryer and ironing board and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The Market House is in the centre of town and, as it says on their website, they do have music until about 11pm most weekends and some weekday evenings, (and a few outside tables both front and back), so it isn’t the quietest of locations. However it’s super convenient for visiting Glastonbury and seeing the sights.

The Wi-Fi was a little temperamental to log in to. It wouldn’t let me login and connect from my room but was fine closer to the bar, and then I was able to use it in my room thereafter. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty but there weren’t what I would call ‘continental options’ other than toast/breakfast sandwiches. There were vegetarian options on the fry-up though, which was welcomed!

This was a great place to stay for a night in Glastonbury, the location was ideal for exploring the town and climbing the Tor. The staff were delightful, check in was quick and simple. Parking out the back was excellent too. The room was large and comfortable, very clean with everything I needed.

The bed was two singles pushed together so wasn't the most comfortable unless on one side. The shower was a bit weak and the music from downstairs was very loud in the bedroom, although fortunately this stopped just after 9pm (I stayed on a Sunday). If it was much later, it would have been an issue for me.

Excellent position in town. Amazing view of the Tor and the Abbey ruins from our bedroom window. Good sized room. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen. Great to use as a base for visiting Glastonbury and the surroundings. The full English breakfast was huge so kept us going for a long time. Breakfast was included but all the food was reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly despite being very busy. .

There didn't seem to be enough staff to cope in the bar area and keep it all clean. ( Sticky bar and tables). Long wait for breakfast on the second day.

Friendly greeting and shown to our room quickly despite the pub being busy. Extra perk having parking around the back - we weren't aware of this prior to stay - they should promote this as it would entice people more I think! The room was very large and the bedding and surfaces in the bedroom were nice and clean. Lovely shower. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night and we had no issues with noise downstairs at all. Good value for money.

The bathroom sink, floor and particularly the toilet could have been a little bit cleaner but the shower was immaculately clean. However, would stay again based on this.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great , right in the heart of Glastonbury. There were a few parking spaces to park on site which would have been free of charge but we were unable to get one. However we did park in the public car park across the road and paid £10 for 24 hour parking. Decent pub food and drinks from the pub below were available and enough seating inside and out in the garden.

The room was right above the bar and there was an open mic night . Music was loud and was going until 23.30 ish. We were unable to relax or sleep properly . We had an early start the next morning so were extremely tired. Nothing was mentioned in the hotel description about the level of noise. I think that if this had of been mentioned I would not have booked. However if we hadn't had such an early start the next day I think we would have been in the bar enjoying the live music.

Great location right in the centre of Glastonbury. The Abbey and Tor could be seen from our window. The room was of good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The food in the bar was nice and very reasonably priced.

The bathroom was probably the smallest we have encountered when staying away. There was live music in the bar one evening which was loud in our room, mind you it didn't bother us too much.

Incredible service. All of the Staff were fabulous, Bright and Cheerful. Special thanks to Tash who was amazing! She couldn't do enough for us, always smiling and happy to help with any requests. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was clean, light and airy with a wonderful view of the Abby grounds and the Tor. The Breakfast was beautiful. Very tasty and made with fresh local ingredients. We couldn't fault a thing. The room, food, facilities and service were Really good value for money. We can recommend and will be booking again in the near future, with the confidence that we will receive excellent service and value. Thanks again Guys! Sterling Job!

The staff are really lovely. So welcoming and friendly. They gave us information on local events and couldn't have been nicer. The room was large and airy. Very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is situated in the middle of Glastonbury, right in the heart of everything. A big bonus is the free use of the car park at the rear of the hotel. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing location, great room and the pub had very good food and not overpriced. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. Considering the location, we thought it might be noisy, but surprisingly it wasn’t as bad as we anticipated.

The bathroom was very small, very little room to close the door and the shower door was rolling forward. But, very clean and well maintained.
