Superb location for the town, nice little car park. Excellent host, extremely friendly, free bottles of water available throughout, help yourself basis. Lovely room, and deco, not over the top, just nice for the break intended. Shower although average size, little tight as next to sink, very minor issue if your on the larger size, like me! Excellent food, and good size portions. Only down size for me personally was we were in room 9, which was top floor, 2 sets of stairs, and no lift, again this is a personal issue, as not fit! So did struggle a little, HOWEVER this would not impact me staying her again, I would request a lower level room, and would still stay if on top floor, as I know to just take my time! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Lastly loads of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, available, and even a little jar of sweets. Provides towels & hairdryer in room

Personal level only (as I am unfit) the 2 flights of stairs to our room. Suggestion made to host, to have a little bench outside (for the smokers) but also to sit in the sun (It was 35' on the days we stayed)

The accommodation, a twin room, was excellent. Comfy bed, plenty of tea/coffee and a pack of biscuits to satisfy one, en suite with hot shower, freeview tv, and free car parking for guests. Location was excellent too, just a 2 minute walk from the town centre, and ideal to explore the surrounding countryside. Cath, the owner, was very hospitable and breakfast choice was excellent. It`s worth noting that this is an old (19th century) building so full of character. If you cant, or cant be bothered, to walk up two flights of stairs and dislike creaking floor boards this place might not suit you but I loved it for its quirkyness.

Lovely breakfast with table service served quickly.good conversations with Cath and her girls at Breakfast pleasant start to the day.Nothing was to much trouble for them to do and help for my wife and I.Room was adequate for our needs just a few tweaks needed in places it is a listed old building though ,and Cath has been putting her own personal stamp on the rooms.Generous car parking which is hard to find when staying in B/B's etc in Llangollen.And great its only a short walk into the town.Would definitely return back to Cambrian House iff we were to return to Llangollen Cath and her girls just made us feel so at home and welcome thankyou for the banter lovely ladies

Fantastic host in (kath), very friendly and helpful as were all the staff. The service was amazing at Breakfast which was soo.. good. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean en-suite bathroom and prepared with everything you would need including a hairdryer and great choice of complimentary teas and coffees and biscuits. Great location, short walk to High street and attractions. Well done to all the staff in making our stay an enjoyable one 😊

Great B&B, with friendly staff and comfy rooms. I had everything I needed in my single room, including a desk and chair, hangers for clothes, and a good en suite bathroom. There were a number of single rooms, and Cath is clearly used to solo travellers and made sure I had the contact details for emergencies when I went out. The breakfast was great, and can be tailored to your particular needs. It is within a few minutes walk of the centre of Llangollen, so there are plenty of options for an evening meal.

Received a genuinely warm welcome from host Cath at this former coaching inn, which is in an excellent location within a couple of minutes walk from Llangollen town centre. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in bedroom and fresh milk available to take there - a lovely touch. Excellent breakfast, with friendly and helpful lady taking our order and ensuring we had plenty of everything. She also went to great trouble to help us locate an art gallery we were keen to visit. Cambrian House is cosy, friendly and good value and ensures a pleasant stop-over.

Very clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Great communication from the owner before arrival. Given the option to leave the car in the B&B carpark for extra 2 hours after checkout which was really useful. 2 minute walk into centre of town and 5 mins down to the river.

Beds a little soft for us but that’s our preference. Road a little noisy until late so perhaps worth requesting a room at the back of the house if you don’t need the family room like us.

Great location, very friendly staff, parking, good breakfast. The room was extremely clean. Electric kettle provided along with tea bags and a bottle of real milk. Cath explained everything that we needed to know about the property very clearly such as how to open the front door, getting fresh milk, local restaurant availability, parking and the hotel heating.

The room had just been cleaned so there was a bit of a smell of cleaning products but that went away. The room was a bit too warm for me but that was an easy fix and far better than being too cold.

Lovely welcome, quick check-in, parking was easily located and there were plenty of spaces. We were in a family room and it was ample for us. The bathroom was separate outside of the room, which I think is probably because it’s an old building and there are limits to what can be done. This said, the bathroom was ideal with a very powerful shower, toilet and sink. I liked the fact that the family room was separated from the main rooms, it gave us more privacy with a toddler. The noise policy (quiet time after 10) was also greatly appreciated as a family. We also enjoyed the recommendations for our evening meal - Fouzi’s on the Main Street (not far from the train station) was delicious. The breakfast was really lovely - good quality and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. There were lots of options too. We also really appreciated being able to leave our car in the car park for the day whilst we went for a trip on the steam train.

I would have liked to perhaps see a breakfast menu beforehand so I could see what was on offer, not to pre-order but just to know what was available. That’s just personal preference though!

we received a lovely warm welcome from Emma. Thoughtful extra touches such as mince pies, fresh milk, a wide variety of teas/coffees, sweet jars, complimentary ear plugs made it extra special. The room was spotlessly clean, lovely decor and very comfortable. wonderful location, 2 mins from the centre of the town and free parking. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and service was excellent.

if I had to say something I didn’t like it would be that the bathroom was rather chilly as there was no heating in there. The breakfast room was also a bit cold. The heating downstairs didn’t seem to be on so there was a small electrical heater plugged in. it was just a bit too small for the space I think.
