great location, the room had plenty of space for a family and the breakfasts from the cafe were delicious

The accommodation was excellent! The room was very spacious and was very tasteful. The bunk beds were bespoke to fit the space perfectly and meant that my teenage children were very comfortable and had plenty of room. This is the best family room that we have ever stayed in and I would highly recommend. We did not have a river view, but the room was very quiet. Breakfast was perfect, with plenty of choice to suit to whole family.

Nothing, this was a perfect place to stay. The accommodation was excellent and had a perfect central location to access all the amenities.

The room (number 4) was so light and airy, fantastic view of the river which could make the room cold but it was lovely and warm. The towels were fluffy and fresh and full bath sheets. Bathroom was gorgeous, really modern. Shower was lovely and hot as were the radiators. We arrived too late to eat in the cafe but will be arriving earlier next time. Staff went above and beyond when I asked for a little help accessing the building. Bed was comfortable and spacious, I really liked the extra blanket provided incase we were cold (didn't use it in the end but I love the personal extras like that). Breakfast was top notch, hot and fresh. The sausages were huge and really tasty. Best night away we could have asked for. Thankyou.

Location is great, in the centre of Llangollen, perfect for all amenities and places to eat. The hotel is above a cafe, where breakfast is taken. The owners also run a business in outdoor sports. The whole atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Breakfast is beautifully cooked and with some more unusual choices than the average B & B. The room are clean and nicely, simply furnished - lots of wood! Fresh ground coffee on the tea tray every day was a much appreciated touch.

The family room was perfect for us (ages 3&5), the breakfast was delicious (especially the savory waffles and coffee), there were plenty of great places to eat out (we ate at The Corn Mill and Three Eagles) and the river was spectacular, especially from The Corn Mill deck. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and there was a lovely atmosphere in the cafe every morning. We could have stayed all day! We used it as our base to head into Zipworld (c.45mins) and will definitely be back for more adventures!

Great location. Room was clean and well furnished and have a great view of the river.

I was expecting the room to be little less functional. We were having a weekend away from the children so the bunkbed over the double was a bit too family focused. It was also quite dark in the room. However, if I had been expecting the room to be like that I would have been very happy with it and the excellent cafe and location made up for any initial disappointment.

We stayed overnight for my brothers wedding. We didn't enter the hotel until almost midnight, but it was easy to access with the codes provided. The room was so big, it was amazing, and the kids were ecstatic with the bunk beds! Next morning, feeling a bit worse for wear i stayed in the room while the rest of my group went for breakfast. They all said it was delicious, the kids LOVED the waffles. After a quick nap i ventured down to attempt breakfast and they were accommodating despite not dining with the rest of my group. Service was great, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so friendly! I wish we could have enjoyed the room for longer, we will be back!

Shortly after we got in and settled a group came in on the floor below and were chatting so loudly - and the sound really travels up the stairs! Asked them to be quiet which they did with no issue.

Ooh yummy vegetarian breakfast, plus the lavender & lemon tea is delish… taken each morning out on the riverside terrace. Listening to the peaty water racing over the rocks as the birds circled above was a perfect way to start the day. Loved my room although would have preferred a river view ..plenty of tea sachets available to make my own drinks in morn and eve. Didnt use the tv at all but free WiFi was much appreciated. Bathroom was more than adequate and spotlessly clean as was the bedroom itself. Location within the town is perfect and allowed me easy walking access to Castell Dinas Bran at daybreak and the Ponty Aqueduct.. a good walk of 9 or so miles. Lovely attentive staff throughout.

I’d have preferred not to overlook a very tatty unkempt yard opposite. The one sash window wouldn’t open and on my second night the other window wouldn’t close when I needed to try and block out extreme noise from the road resurfacing repairs, which kept going until an astonishing 22.30…I couldn’t believe it..the noise from a kango hammer, road roller and road sweeper; it was appalling and right below my window! Although this was not a reflection on Riverbanc it certainly wasn’t something I expected and did spoil my evening as I’d walked 12 miles that day and needed to sleep. Maybe a lack of hotel parking wasn’t brill .. the charges per day added a little more expense although the price was good value ..£3.50 for whole 24hrs in East Street car park; just a short walk from Riverbanc.

It was an exceptional b&b it was exactly what it advertised, room was excellent and spacious ideal sized family room, cleanliness was superb breakfast was heathy and good it sets you up for the day,staff are great, will definitely be recommending to family and friends and we are looking forward to staying there again, excellent views of the river Dee,we all enjoyed spending our time there, not to far out from horseshoe pass and falls, and not to far away from Rhyl,I give this a 10/10 😃😃

Nothing to dislike about this place

Riverbanc is located in the heart of Llangollen and therefore within a short walk of all amenities. We loved the modern decor and electronic access to the building and room. No need for a meeting to gain access and so far more flexible. The checkout was also managed online. The breakfast, which was included in our stay, was excellent. Highly recommended.

The only two minor gripes were that there is no parking at Riverbanc and therefore had to use and pay for public parking. This is in short supply in Llangollen and I can imagine that long stay parking is certainly at a premium in the height of the holiday season. Whilst the room was excellent the bed was not the most comfortable that we have slept in. However, this may be personal preference.
