Carlton Hotel B & B

Good neighborhood, very close to Pimlico station. If you plan to visit Tate Britain this place is a great locaiton for you. I had a nice stroll from Big Ben back to the hotel which took around 30 minutes. There were hardly any noise coming from the hallway. I had a peaceful stay.

There were a few flights of stairs to go through to get to my room on the top floor. Luckily I did not have any luggage with me, so it was not a big deal.

Location was very good. The room exceeded our expectations as it was larger than expected : we ordered a double and it had a second bed which may be why. Everything was very clean. Bedding all looked new and was comfortable. We could turn the heating off and open the window. Although our room faced Belgrave Road road noise was minimal. We also had no problems with noise from other occupants. Staff were very helpful and we liked the 24 hour desk availability. Numerous good cafes within 2 blocks for breakfast.

There is no breakfast provided but we knew this. The shower cutains could be longer and this would prevent water going onto the bathroom floor. This water did not drain well and would eventually damage the flooring.

TV was too old for HDMI input (firestick) catch up TV.

Set it quiet and nice looking street, room was fine, clean and comfortable, no frills but not in any way poor.

It's 2023, Wifi should be free.

First and foremost: very good location (Pimlico, Victoria station), friendly and helpful staff, heating and cattle. There were lots of coffee-shops and cafes around, as well as grocery stores. Many touristic points within walking distance (Tate Britain, Westminster, etc.).

There was no breakfast included, which in its way is not a tragedy, yet a fridge would be nice, together with a locker/safe. Good value for money, but for someone the flaws mentioned by the other reviewers (tiny shower combined with the toilet, wet bathroom floor after showering, thin walls, and Wi-Fi charge) may be of crucial importance.

It's hard to find cheaper accommodation in London with a private bathroom. You're within walking distance of Big Ben, for example, and there's a bus stop nearby that will take you to Tower Bridge, for example. The room was tiny but fit for purpose, clean, perfect for sleeping and bathing. The reception was nice. The place is cozy, reminiscent of a quiet street in the suburbs of Queens in New York. Overall, I think this hotel is much better than it is rated, not cheap, but what accommodation in central London is?

The bed linen was washed, but there were dried, bloody-looking stains on it, similar to those on the pillow after I took the covers off. It's quite disgusting, luckily I only noticed it in the morning, by then it didn't matter. The walls are a bit thin, especially when it sounds like they're redecorating somewhere at night, but the area itself is quiet. A shared fridge would be nice.

The location was excellent, the room was nice. It was clean and quiet. However the wifi was awful.. I am an entrepreneur and all my businesses are online. However every 5 minutes I was chucked off line. I was on the interet from ten pm until 4pm and this happened continually for that 6 hours I was online. I will never go back there until they fix this WiFi

hey it was good hotel not to bad nice and clean and olso lovely staff with good respect for customer olso good location is not bad price but for costumer like me because am not working is look to much for me eny way but evrithing is perfect in hotel carlton thenk you

i think we need left elevator i mean because for disable peopel problem is can be dificult i now is not eseay to do that because complecated in side building

I got a very good room for the price i paid the indian man at the desk was very nice and respectfull

Its not a five star hotel but i didnt pay for a five star hotel but what i paid for was good the room heater wasnt working but they had a replacement electricity heater which did the work fine the room also had a small balcony which was a nice bonus i went wth my wife and daughter and the staff gave us two room keys which was nice and showed a level of honesty they had in us I recommend booking online as the booking costs at the hotel can be more expensive
