St George's Hotel

The staff at the reception were very friendly and smiling. The single room I stayed in was small but had all the amenities such as heating, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, shampoo etc. The bathroom also had plenty of hot water. The hotel bed was comfortable, the duvet was of reasonable thickness and there was no noise at night and it was very quiet. It is worth mentioning that the hotel has an excellent location with supermarkets, restaurants, tourist attractions, metro, etc., so it is really convenient to stay here. Therefore this hotel has great value for money and is perfect for both business trips and family trips.

No WiFi signal in the room

This is a good budget hotel, no luxuries but clean, centrally located and the buildings provide that classic London atmosphere I don't understand some of the bad reviews.

Unfortunately they no longer provide breakfast.

The location is very ideal literally 5 mins to the nearest tube station (Pimlico) and the same distance to the Thames. Also you have a row of shop around the corner I had fish and chips on 2 nights was good very large fish very nice £14 for fish and chips which is good I would say. My room was small but it was a single room but that's what you pay for I paid £153 for 2 nights best by far for a single room I'm that area 👍

The only thing I didn't like was my room was a good way up the stairs at least 5 flights of stairs I was knackered when I got to my room please ring before you arrive to check this if you are not good on your feet.

The location is great. Within 30 minutes walk you're at Buckingham Palace. Room was clean, ensuite bathroom was good, shower had a good pressure. Best thing: my room was at the back and it was SO SILENT. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in London, but none of them were as silent as this one. I heard nothing, no neighbours inside or outside the building. Beds were amazing

It was hot inside the room and its just the start of june, no ac or fan available (not advertised either so thats fine, just an fyi). Sun is shining inside all day so maybe close the curtains if its a hot day. Also: daylight hits you in the face very early so taking a sleepmask is a good idea if you dont want to wake up at 4am in summer.

The location is great, handy for the tube and a number of bus routes. The room and en suite were clean, though there was black mould in sobe of the upper parts of the bathroom. For the price it was fine.

The bed was not comfortable as the divan had broken. The mattress was balanced on a piece of wood (possibly a cupboard door) on top of cushions. To be fair, I was so tired that I soon fell asleep, but the mattress did wobble about a lot. The room was a bit cooler than I would have preferred, but there was no way to turn the radiator on. There was a "drains" smell in the bathroom if you left the door into it shut. This soon dispersed when the fan came on.

First staying at the St George...Lovely quaint little hotel with a 4☆ rating for me..lovely room with all mod cons...highly recommended for a London visit esp so close to Victoria tube, Rail and coach stations....lovely reception when I arrived and even thou I was early was allowed to sit in reception and watch the end of the Mersey Derby...

There was only one thing I didnt like and that was the headboard in the bedroom..it was built like a ledge and had a lip on it which I banged my head only once on....As I left at 4.15am in the morning to catch an early flight I didnt see anybody to report it but otherwise the stay was great😎🦖🍀

Great location 7 minute walk to Pimlico underground station. Very quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable.

Rooms could do with updating.( no holder for shower head, carpet very dirty looking, cracked mirrors, rotting window frames) Wifi not great even though router was outside bedroom. Tv in bedroom would not work even after staff came to look at it. Lots of stairs!!!!!

The room was small and clean the bed was comfortable the window opened which was great there was complimentary tea & coffee. The shower worked really well and toilet was clean Very central easy for tubes and buses. Nice cafes and shops around, all in all was good price for facilities. Would definitely stay here again

The rooms are very close together so you can hear everything from the other rooms. Was disturbed by guests playing music and talking really load in the middle of the night

First of all, we must bear in mind that this is a qualified hotel with two stars, that is, standard. Therefore, it is a hotel that fulfills this by being a property that focus on the needs of price conscious travelers. Services and guest facilities are typically limited to keep room rates affordable and competitive. For me the best thing about my experience was, in addition to being a hotel run by a family and with very good treatment, its excellent location within walking distance to Victoria and Pimlico stations, with connections to Hop-on Hop-off London Bus Tours, in addition to the Tate Britain Museum and Westminster abbey among others
