Hotel Citystay

The bed was comfortable. There was a good sized wardrobe in the bedroom. The heating worked well.

Our "flat" was at the rear of the property and on the 2nd floor, so there were steps up to the main hotel, a corridor and steps down from the main hotel, 2 flights of metal stairs on the fire escspe and 2 more flights of stairs inside, which was too much because we had 3 large suitcases, 5 medium sized bags and 3 small bags. Apart from a kettle in the kitchen, there were no tea & coffee making facilities. I had to buy coffee, sugar and milk from the garage on the opposite side of Bow Road. I had locked our bedroom door from the inside with the key, which I left in the lock. On at least 2 occasions during the night, somebody tried using a key from the outside to unlock our bedroom door!?!

The location was great for our purpose. We found a great cafe for breakfast, less than 2 mins walk. There were other shops, petrol station and more as you walk into the centre of the city. There is parking at the hotel, but only around 4 spaces. The owner let us park in front of his gate, so that was very lucky for us.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about the hotel. It's not top end accommodation, I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway! But it's a great location and I would stay again.

Fully equipped room with all kitchen utensils and cutleries, plenty of fresh towels too. Bathroom was very clean. Location is amazing as it's right beside the DLR, literally doorstep away

The stairs and corridor looked a little dodgy and was not brightly lighted. Room was really warm and looked quite badly maintained, however the beds were clean which is great

room with private bathroom was small but well equipped. central heating was really good and made it comfortably warm. the kitchen was an added bonus. location is good and considering all of these things, this hotel is excellent value for money.

Having had alternative accommodation (entire flat) booked through agoda cancelled at 5pm literally upon arrival by text message was hard pushed to find immediate alternative accommodation on a Friday afternoon within walking distance for both my 9 year old son and myself, especially considering we had tickets for the mousetrap show at 7:30pm which was at the other side of the city..Found this hotel offers exceptional value for money, room was clean, comfortable and extremely close to Bow End tube station making commuting to and from all of Londons attractions a breeze.

It was sufficient for our stay as we were out all until late evenings, only gripe would be the television didn't work as no remote control but had my own personal device if needed for entertainment in the late evenings..

This hotel is located close to the centre of London. The hotel staff were helpful and efficient. The room was large and my on-suite bathroom was great. The accomodation was cheap but considering the benefits it represents excellent value for money

Excellent location - near the hotel 3 metro stations, buses. As we have tickets for ABBA VOYAGE, it was perfect location - 10 minutes by walk to Arena. All we need we have - hot water, ventilators, small kithen with fridge, cafe and pubs near the hotel. Excellent hotel for this budget.

The hotel was calm and cosy, the staff mostly kind and responsive. Also, the place was well located for my purposes (e. g., rather good connection with the airport and the city center).

There were some problems with the Internet first, and then the building looks a bit old.

The stuff were incerdeble, they were very generous with us, I would definitely book the same property next time.

The room had a bit of space to move around even in the bathroom.

Towel change and room cleaning was not done daily, toilet had very old lime scale which looks dirty 😏, there was no fan/AC.
