Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel, London

lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and easy check in / out options.

the location of the property is misleading. I booked this because we were attending an event in the O2 so chose somewhere that was walkable. However, the property is on the opposite side of the river with no options to walk so it ended up being 30 minutes via trains, trams and / or walking.

Our premium room was super spacious and real value for money for London. the location was fabulous for the O2 arena and also meeting friends in surrounding areas. The staff were really friendly too.

Room slightly hot for me but personal preference.

On arrival the staff were very attentive and welcoming. My room wasn’t ready at 4.45pm when i arrived but the manager quickly sorted me another room so that I didn’t have to wait as i had advised them that my arrival time would be approximately 5.30pm. It was lovely to be escorted to my room not just to be told quickly a lot of directions to the fourth floor. The room was very spacious, i think i was in a King room. I had some choreography to create and i was able to do that within my room. I especially liked the fact that the remote control was covered in plastic, i’m such a clean freak so I cannot stand a filthy remote. The Spa was nice, a little smaller than i was expecting so I understand why it was necessary to book but i enjoyed a little bit of time to chill out. You get a robe, towels and flip flops already allocated to you in a locker which is a nice touch.

Not that i was there to watch TV but if i had wanted to it had very limited channels and a lot of them said no service available so i was unable to view them. The surfaces of the room were a bit dusty to say that this room was cleaned and sorted out just before i arrived, the attention to detail in that respect wasn’t great. It’s quite noisy on a night, you can hear room doors slamming and people walking through the corridors. I’m a light sleeper so the slightest thing wakes me up.

Everything was perfect!! We were able to check in early & check out late!! Really made our stay in London enjoyable… Thank you!! When we were leaving the hotel, we asked for a taxi to be ordered to take us to London Euston station - the taxi charged us £80 (we only paid £36.50 on arrival) my Mother in Law rang the hotel to advise the taxi service they had phoned for us was overcharging & they said they would look at this. Thank you for doing everything to make our trip enjoyable & easy going.

Room was nice, bed was very comfortable.

I feel the website mislead you to think it was walking distance to the O2, and it is not.

Beautiful hotel with large, immaculate rooms that had elegant bathrooms. The restaurant food and drinks were perfect and it had a lovely view of the river and the O2 (we were there for a concert). The coffee station in the rooms were a personal favourite. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but a massive thank you to the car attendent and the bartender (I did not ask permission so have opted not to share their names). I only wish I had taken better photos, it was such a pleasant experience and a great place to stay for a ladies night!

There is a lot of construction happening at the moment so it was difficult to find our way there. Also, if you are driving there the GPS signal has a significant lag in the area when you get close so quite often will miss your turns and end up driving around in circles.

the cleanliness is top which is the most important. the breakfast with this hotel chain never disappoints either. the hotel is good value for money and is even nicer than the pictures which is a very big plus. The steam room and relaxation room is free to use with the hotel which is equally clean and really nice. the staff were attentive and professional

it’s not a bad thing about the property in particular but the location is quite far from Canary Wharf station (not a short walk) we ended up getting Uber on the way back because it was much longer than we excepted to get to the hotel especially if you have luggage.

We liked everything, the staff were so attentive and aimed to please throughout our stay, especially when they found out it was my wife's birthday. The room upgrade offered to me from Booking .com worked out very well and the view from our room was spectacular, thank you. The car park although £25 was worth it, car safely valet parked and a short wait when we collected it later on the day of departure. The breakfast was well presented and once again the staff were so helpful. As I understand it this hotel has only recently reopened following covid and is well worth staying at, you will not be disappointed.

Nothing not to like

The hotel was above our expectations. We were upgraded on arrival and a glass of fizz at check in was wonderful. A special mention to Clairece on reception, who went out of her way to make our stay a more than pleasant experience. A highly efficient team member who is a credit to this hotel. The hotel is kept in an extremely clean and organised manner and all the staff are courteous and happy to help if you need recommendations for Taxis or assistance getting around. Nothing

The staff was accommodating. The restaurant was lovely, and the food was excellent. The room was clean, and we liked the daily water restocking and the turn-down service. Having an expresso machine in the room was a bonus! The location is within walking distance of the DLR and the Tube. We used some food delivery services, and they could find the hotel easily. If you are taking Uber, they are always in the area. We only waited about 3 minutes for any Uber we called.

This is no fault of the hotel, but just be aware that coming from Heathrow Airport during rush hour will take you more than an hour. For example, our ride around noon took an hour and 40 minutes due to traffic.
