Holiday Inn Express London Limehouse, an IHG Hotel

The location was good to have a nice sleep at night, away from all central London noise. The staff is super attentive to your needs and if anything happens they respond quickly to sort it out.

The only reason why I don’t put a perfect score is because the first room they gave us (we checked in a late night) had a problem at the toilet. Understanding that things can happen, we requested review from the staff the next morning, and they very quickly transferred us to another room, very attentive to your needs. From that on, everything was excellent: breakfast highly recommended, plenty of options for everyone. Helpful to give you tips about the city, and always within reach. I would come back without a question.

Very clean hotel inside. Located a short walk from the DLR, which was perfect for my needs. Staff were very polite. Gentleman who checked me in was very genial and pleasant but not informally so - Really makes a difference to to be spoken to like a human being & not like someone is reading from some corporate script... Room was perfect for my needs. The hotel was busy, but you would not have known it in the room. A proper ironing board & iron: Some places I have stayed in recently do not seem to provide these any more & I pack my stuff in a rucksack - That was very much appreciated & I was able to attend work in a presentable shirt...

In short, if you’re looking to save a buck and get some breakfast and coffee every morning and be able to get to the City and major attractions within 20 mins go for this hotel. if you are looking for amenities and luxury you might want to rethink your options.

Boy, was this thing showing signs of use and old age, not to mention the black mound around the caulk in the bathroom… Breakfast was adequate but missing on fresh fruit and veggies, almost everything was processed in one way or another. there is a cement factory next door, a highway in front and slums in the back. You don’t choose your neighbors though. I did appreciate the easy access to DLR and River bus.

The breakfast was good and everything was clean! The staff were super friendly and the room was really lovely. The wifi works well and the staff were always around if anything is needed. Although the location is a bit remote, it’s fantastic for anyone going to the O2 like we were. And it’s just down the street from a train station that takes you back into the city centre quickly. There is a few little shops for getting bits you need which was helpful.

The location is a bit industrial and there’s not too much around it. Other than that it was perfect!

Staff was very friendly. We had some troubles at check-in with getting our cards to work, and staff was at the ready with multiple solutions until one of our cards finally worked. Cleaning staff was also very friendly and worked well. Room was always very well cleaned when we came back.

The room had very little ammenities. We stayed for 5 nights and were a little bummed that we didn't have a fridge we could use, nor that the hotel had a fridge we could use. Breakfast was alright, but if you're there for more than 2 days it doesn't do a good job of being interesting or appetizing. The shower was clean, but did have trouble draining, but never overflowed.

Well it was the perfect location for a quick stopover to be near my niece but it was SO comfortable and well designed, I could park easily there AND it even had a window that opened! The check in staff were absolutely delightful and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and the bed was fab. I could go on and on! I only wish I could have stayed for longer!

My only criticism would be that the room was really dark and there were 2 or 3 light bulbs that weren't working which was quite annoying but apart from that it was perfect for what I needed.

It is the second time we stayed here during our visit in London. We asked to stay in the same room as we did before. We were delighted to see there had been some sort of renovation, i.e. wall painting, change of the tv screen to a bigger flat one. The breakfast was also enhanced by more choices than the previous time. Seems that the management takes under consideration the customers' comments and kudos for that.

There is still lack of fresh vegetables in the breakfast. Tomatoes could be served raw instead of steamed, which would also save processing time for the kitchen stuff. Also- and more important: the fan in the bathroom did not work at all during the period of our stay. This is very bad, all the steam from showering with hot water where it will go?

The room was very clean and quiet, they provided all services on daily basis and regularly (cleaning, towels, toilet paper etc.) Everything was in perfect order. The beds are smaller, but comfy and they give you two types of pillows.The hotel is in a nice area very near a Dlr station, thus connected very well with the center. The breakfast was fine.

The water draining system is a bit slow, both in the basin/shower and in the toilet as well. Sometimes iz was too cold inside the breakfast area, the AC system was set too low.

The staff were superb and very on task, very dedicated. Especially Pravita (I think that is how her name is spelt), she arranged to hold our luggages in the store room although holiday inn doesn't allow storage for more than 13 hours. Staff were also very helpful, friendly and warm to, gives good recommendation for food nearby limehouse area especially since it is quite out of the way from city centre.

rooms could have been a lot better for the price, although london is expensive in general but the amenities were okay, not too bad!

The warm welcome we received from Frank, who explained everything to us. Frank continued to provide outstanding service throughout our stay including at breakfast. The location was very handy to the DLR. Breakfast was included with an excellent selection daily. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The room size would be fine if there was only a couple, but as we had a child with us using the sofa bed, this made space very tight. There was no fridge in the room.
