ibis London Docklands Canary Wharf

The room was clean and comfortable. Friendly welcome from lady on reception think she was called Carla, very helpful. The room was spot on for what we needed it for and the shower was lovely

Only bad point was parking. Paid to park then went to a concert at 02 when we came back there was no space available in the carpark spoke to man on reception and he said there was nothing he could do. Maybe keep a record of spaces and once all spaces are paid for don't accept any more

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We had everything we would need in the rooms to make it a comfortable stay and the location was perfect for traveling into London on the DLR and tube. We went to see Abba in the arena, went to Covent Garden and also to the Embankment. The Canary Wharf was within walking distance but do wear trainers!

The receptionist was very helpful when booking in. The room was cool (hottest days of the year) with efficient air conditioning. The very large bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well set out. From the third floor we had a very good view of Canary Wharf.

Even though there is a bus stop right outside the hotel it is difficult to reach by public transport with cases on a hot day. Yes it is a 5 min walk to the DLR (nearesr stop East India not Blackwall -nearest on a map ) but with cases knowing the D5 bus route would be helpful. Local road building did seem to have disrupted local public transport.

I loved it here! I came alone for a concert at the o2 and check in was so fast and simple, my room was spotless and smelt very clean and fresh. I really liked how modern the place was and so bright, with really good AC, especially in the heatwave we’re experiencing right now. Also thought it was so lovely how they had preprinted directions to the o2 for everyone and explained too. I was really impressed with everything, especially in this day and age, and on a day where there is a huge concert happening, I found it to be such a value for money. Definitely would stay here again!

There’s not really anything I didn’t like, but the only thing I can think of which I would’ve changed is a little more lighting around the mirror in the room. The bathroom mirror had great lighting, but I tend to get ready in the main room and I found it was a little bit dark just in that area because it’s near the door. This is an extremely minor point I thought I would mention anyway.

More than helpful after Booking.com forced the overbook when they were fully booked. Francesca went out of her way to help us get a room here for the night and recommended a local eatery. Booking.com needs to learn not to force bookings making their customers effectively homeless. I won’t be using booking.com again and a huge complaint is going in regards the hotel we originally should have stayed in was a scam and didn’t exist and I received basically no help from Booking.com considering they’d sold me a dud booking.

There was nothing wrong with this hotel. Staff were amazing, the room was comfortable and clean.

very helpful staff on arrival, lovely location for the O2 Arena, if you dont go on the tube make sure you book your uber well in advance, ( will be much cheaper), as we did it last minute ,due to not realising the walk was over 3 miles to the O2, although the hotel on paper is 0.6 miles away ( didnt take into consideration , only access is the Blackwall tunnel by car.

had an eventful arrival and end of night due to a "very" unreasonable Ex- customer who only left when the police arrived ,not a nice introduction to the hotel, the evening was worse,he was back, with his threats to staff and appaling use of language with children around, made worse when he said to my wife to move away from our table which was next to the window as he was coming back ( after abusing the staff again!) to put all the windows through and set the hotel on fire, my wife hardly slept a wink out of fear ( as he was very ,very angry )

stuff was very friendly and helped us to print plane tickets and give us directions. very clean and cozy. it’s in a good location, not in central London, but very close by tube or train. there is a station just behind the hotel and you can take trains to bank or Greenwich. also close to jubilee and Elizabeth line stations in Canary Wharf.

great value for money especially for a city like London. you will need to spend a little more on the transport to go the central London but it is very easy and you ll be there in no time.

The size of the room was great with a desk and chair, tea and coffee items there (but no water). The bed was big and comfortable. A nice place to hand your clothes.

Arrived and parked at the hotel, and asked the receptionist if it was ok to park. He said: Yes, I just need to take your registration and then bam he charged me 12 pounds. It would have been nicer to warn me or at least inform me parking is not free, but nope just got the machine ready for me to pay it. No fridge in the room which is a shame because the room has the space for a decent size fridge.

Couples My partner and I visited London on the 1st June 2023 to watch Micky Flanagan at The 02 Arena and our choice of hotel was the lbis hotel in canary wharf this hotel proved to be an amazing choice for getting to the venue as public transport was so close with easy access to it but the hotel itself was amazing from the very helpful n friendly staff giving us directions and what stations to get to the 02 but also the room tself was very very nice n clean the bed was sc comfortable to sleep in after a long day we both slept like logs we woke up for breakfast and what a breakfast it was so nice and has helped set us up for the day we have planned ahead deffo will come back to this hotel again if visiting the 02 again deffo recommend this hotel to anyone we loved our stay here..
