Novotel London Bridge

Amazing service, lovely room, excellent breakfast and a nice spa area to relax in the evenings with a sauna, steam and gym available. Located a 7min walk from London Bridge Station with easy access to the port for the boat ride into westminister. We will be back!

As a Muslim family dietary laws mean that we can only consume Halal, the breakfast utensils were not color coded to keep meat and Veg items separate which led to cross contamination. It meant that we were put off the breakfast and it did take the gloss off what was an amazing hotel. Spoke to the manager and hope that they can make this adjustment.

The location of this hotel was IDEAL for our family of 4 with two young kids. London Bridge station is less than 5 min walk away and Monument is about a 15 minute walk away over Southwark Bridge. There were TONS of food and coffee options, including Borough Market, which we absolutely LOVE. Despite being in such a great location, the rooms were quiet. We also loved the fact that there was a cozy bar/cafe within the hotel; after coming back from a day out, twice we had a night cap and even invited London friends to join us there one evening. The hotel staff were so helpful and great with the kids, too! The view out of our room was great, too, even though we were facing toward the 'inside' of the hotel - the Shard was fully visible.

The breakfast was crowded during the time we stayed, though it was likely peak tourist season at the end of July. Also, whilst the cleaners were cleaning the rooms every day, they forgot ours one day so we came back to no towels, unmade beds, etc. It wasn't a huge deal for us, just an inconvenience.

Location is excellent, very good breakfast, attentive personnel, fast reactions to questions and requests for the room. Executive room with windows into the yard, very quiet and silent at night. Good aircon.

Executive room: sofa for a child not comfortable, had to use a blanket to smooth the wobbles. Also the design of bathroom section is only suitable for families: separate shower and a separate toilet with glass doors which are see-through, and an open wash sink right in the room. Looks modern but ZERO privacy, visually or auditively... something that is not clear from the hotel pictures.

We loved everything about our trip and stay at this property. The location was so convenient and central. The staff was very accommodating to our every need. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast which was buffet style was very elaborate an consistent, we missed no morning downstairs at breakfast. There was also a very nice bar and restaurant on property which offered delicious options in the afternoon and evening. We will definitely visit this property again!

The breakfast was amazing and the gym was well equipped. Had a plumbing problem and staff was amazing in the v west they dealt with it.

Rooms to be more customised to the stay. For example I stayed in room on my own and the cot was out enough to sleep 4pax in the room. It was disclosed and booked as 1pax so would’ve appreciated the cot packed away so I have that space back. Not a complaint just that little bit extra to have made it from amazing to exceptional.

The location was good, as it's located near the Eiffel tower. The bed was very comfortable where we got very good night sleeps after a tiring day. I like the drinking water fountain bar which is easily accesible!

The room was a little small for 3 people, the sofa bed was too huge taking up the whole space. The cupboard was also too small with less hangers. If the hotel is into sustainability, why don't I see ceramic glasses or mugs or steel spoons? Why are we wasting paper cups and bamboo spoons?

Great location, less than 400m to “London Bridge” tube with 2 useful lines, while on the way you can stop and Borough Market. The room is nice and clean, breakfast is also nice, furniture’s looks new, bed and towels are clean. Room size was small for 2 adults and two kids, there is no space from more than one large suitcase. Kids breakfast is free

One day the room wasn’t clean by the staff, we complained and expect for compensation (for example: one free breakfast ?)

Updated facilities and modern decor / clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. The sofa bed for the kids was solid and comfortable for the 2 of them. Useful having the baggage storage option. We were also very fortunate to be able to check in a bit earlier (after a very long haul flight with children).

The lady after collecting the bags wasn’t very helpful with following up on taxi ordered. We ended up booking an Uber ourselves. Otherwise all the other staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Everything was nice and the staff helpful. The room was quiet and clean and sufficiently spacious. I brought my own coathangers, lamp, light bulbs, china cup and cutlery, which were not supplied (or insufficient). There was a fridge in the room, which is great.

I bought three 100 W light bulbs because I needed to see properly to work and the lights in the room were extremely dim, giving a cave-like experience. So I bought a lamp for myself and replaced the lights in the room while I was there with bright bulbs. Without these, I would not have been able to read and study. I also brought with me my own coat-hangers, china mug, metal cutlerly (knife, fork, spoon and tea spoon), as these are not supplied for the room (only a cardboard coffee cup and a wooden stick).

The staff was as always in novotel above and beyond! Excellent service Room was clean and I was surprised to learn they had provided a toothbrush to the toiletries they provide. This was amazing as my partner had forgot his and didn't realise till very late at night before bed. In addition they had live music in the bar which made an amazing atmosphere But above all this the staff are just the best in novotel London bridge
