Bermonds Locke

The biggest problem with this hotel is that there is no room for guests on the first floor. Since the entire first floor is operated as a study cafe, it is full of students from early morning to late evening, so there is no space for guests to rest for a while or do office work, causing great inconvenience. In addition, the fact that the double bed is small and the inside is turned off is also an inconvenience. If these points are improved, this accommodation deserves to be evaluated as a good accommodation without reproach.

Our room had a column in the middle of it so made it small. We inquired about a larger room and was told it was overbooked and all the rooms are the same size anyway. We looked online and could see, there are several rooms sizes. Not sure why the guy felt he needed to say all the rooms were the same sizes, just keep it honest.

The sofa is a complete waste of space, made of plastic and soo uncomfortable. Also, it doesn’t face the Tv. The bed is also smaller than a king size

very central location near to wonderful Bermondsey Street with great restaurants, markets, art and theatre. room had a full kitchen and plenty of space. nicely designed

it is used as a central hub for free hot desking. so dozens of young professionals fill the lobby. all working on laptops. there was no room for guests of the hotel to enjoy the lobby area as it was so crowded. the cafe doesn’t open until 8am and the restaurant was closed on the day I stayed - both inconvenient

The lobby and main spaces are fab. Even the signature scent is lovely. The Shaman cafe inside has short hours but delicious if you need a quick breakfast to walk. The staff are friendly without being annoying. The room was nice and it was cool to have a separate kitchen area. Great for tea and hanging out quietly while my son slept in ;)

The twin rooms lack a sitting area. It’s only beds and a cafe table. Not the worst but consider when selecting a room. Cute spaces but showing a bit of wear; some dirty tile in the bathrooms, rugs peeled off of their adhesive strips under beds so a bit of a trip hazard. No big deal overall but worth noting. Nice to have laundry in room but machine was frustrating. Not Lockes fault at all- just me not understanding how an all-in-one works.

It’s always a great stay here! The design, cleanliness, lovely smell, appliances… Convenient coworking and food spaces downstairs. communication and staff was great.

The room needs more ventilation when cooking, the smoke from grilling set off the fire alarm. My room was next to the floor’s cleaning quarters, with the door often being open ended and closed, even with earplugs I could feel the vibrations of the door which was disruptive to sleep / quiet time.

Great apartment with kitchen filled with appliances. Extremely friendly staff. One went of their way to call a taxi for me despite the fact that their taxi-calling app was broken and they had to stand on the street for over 10 minutes. Prices for what is provided are pretty good value for London these days.

Location is a little away from central London (though very close to Bermondsey Street which has lots of great cafes and restaurants). The reception area is used as a co-working space during the day so isn’t the most amenable for hanging out. Also the restaurant (Bermondsey Larder?) seemed to be closed the entire time. But these are very minor issues when viewed against how comfortable and well-equipped the apartments are.

Could have been a gym, no obvious food option

The apartment is modern and extremely quiet despite being in a building located on a busy main road. It's a short walk to the southern end of Tower Bridge and not far from Borough Market. There's a small supermarket nearby. The bus stop is 2 minutes away. The apartment is light and bright and the staff were extremely helpful. There's a lift, which isn't the case in all places where you might rent an apartment in London. It's really good not to have to heave luggage up several flights of stairs.

Although there's a dishwasher, we needed to wash dishes by hand all the time because there are only 2 of everything so you can't wait for the machine to be full. The area isn't as well served by the underground as other parts of London.

1. the hotel has good location near the Tower Bridge 2. The roomis small, some staffwas spoiled by other people previously. Scratches on the kitchen furniture and walls. 3. Very nice wellcoming staff 4. Very good matraces and pillows!! So i managed to sleep well. 5. I like the toiletries, nice smell and very good quality. 6. Interrior is also nice! 7. there is a small shop with organic food and staff downstairs. 8. Very good internet, each appartment has it own internet connection. We will definately return to the hotel.

1. the room was near the elevator so we hear it all the time 2. the floor was not clean enought 3. no paper towers or a small kitchen towel 4. cleaning once per week 5. the next door apparment people put the rubbish in the corridorand it stays there for the whole day, it smells disgusting! 6. the fridge smells badly. 7. the restaurand downstairs was closed :( 8. the water n the sink didn’t go through well.
