The hostel was alright. However, I’d say I really enjoyed my stay thanks to Montana. As a solo traveller with not a lot of social skills, I often find myself alone but thanks to her, she made me feel 100% included. That is why I quite enjoyed my stay.

Not too spacious in the dorm rooms. We gotta place our luggages, bags, etc. there so it’s a bit hard to get around inside them.

The location is great, the staff is friendly, organizing free dinners every night, drinking games and going out, while in the morning there is always some tourist activities organized.

No free towels provided. Common areas were kind of not heated enough (was staying in January).

We chose this hostel cuz it was located close to where the Notting Hill Carnival took place. The location was perfect for us! If you are there to explore the city, it's just a short bus ride away. The people were super friendly and it really was very clean. They have a WhatsApp group for everyone being there with tons of fun activities, ideas what to do either with your own group or together with people from the hostel, loved this!

The rooms are pretty small, if you travel with big suitcases it will be hard to fit all of them in. Also, it is a party hostel, which was very much okay for us - but be aware of it! It's quite noisy. Our room was located right next to the hostel garden, so we could hear everyone passing next trough our room and everything that has been going on outside.

the amazing stuff and friendly guests, the activities and just the concept of the hostel was amazing

there is no separation between males and females, so it might get a bit a bit uncomfortable to be the single girl in the room. I recommend to ask the hostel to put you in a room with other girls

The staff was amazing, super nice and very helpful, loved the family dinner and the pub crawl. The Location was amazing. Nice and quiet area, but super close to public transport and Portobello Market, there were tons of Cafes and Restaurants nearby, a supermarket was also really close. The beds were comfortable. It doesnt feel like a hostel, it feels like a bunch of 20-30 year olds living together, truly feels like one big family. So even though there are a lot of quirks that this house has, it doesnt take away from the experience of staying there, it‘s still 100% worth it and I know I will stay there again.

The bathroom situation is pretty weird, the bathrooms are mixed, and the shower stalls don‘t have a room to change, you have to change directly in the shower if you don‘t want anybody to see anything. Toilets are also tiny. The beds are comfortable but they‘re super loud and squeak if you move. New beds would be great with some privacy curtains. The lockers are tiny, so only you‘re valuables like wallet and electronics fit. Everything else everybody just dumps under the bed, on the bed or next to the bed, which looks quite caotic, I didnt mind. No outlets in the bathroom, a bit weird, had to take one in the hallway, and people had to jump over the cable.

The vibes at OneFam are so chill, and the crew there are like instant friends. They're super welcoming and always down for a chat or to give you the lowdown on the best spots to hit up in Notting Hill and London overall. Making friends here was a breeze. Whether we were bonding over morning coffee in the cozy common area or heading out together to explore Portobello Road, it felt like we'd known each other forever. And let me tell you, the memories we made are ones I'll treasure forever. The hostel itself is a total gem. The rooms are comfy and cute, and I felt totally safe and snug during my whole stay. Plus, being right in the heart of Notting Hill meant I was just steps away from all the cool cafes, and vintage shops. So yeah, if you're a solo traveler looking for a home away from home (with a side of good vibes and great company), I can't recommend OneFam enough. Trust me, it's the kind of place that'll leave you with a smile on your face and a bunch of new friends by your side.

Loved my stay here and would highly recommend Onefam! The staff and guests are all super friendly and welcoming, making it easy to have a chat. The daily activities are a great way to see London and the drinking games are a good way to socialise and have fun! The dinners provided are also tasty and a great option if you're on a budget. The common area is spacious and well-kept and the hostel was mostly clean at all times. Great location too, heaps of restaurants, supermarkets and transport options. The perfect choice if you're travelling alone and looking for some opportunities to party and meet people.

One shower in particular was small and not very practical for getting dressed/undressed. Rooms are quite basic and on the small side, especially if people have larger bags, but not an issue if you're out all day and you can spend time in the common areas if you want additional comfort.

The staff was quite friendly and everything was clean. They had plenty activities, a WhatsApp group to share all these and a bracelet with their info in case you get drunk and confused around the city. Didn't have the time and plans for it, however it looked like a social place with plenty things to do.

The thing that bothered me most was that the actual check in was 30 mins later than advertised. When I suggested that they change the hour in the emails and on booking, the staff member insisted that it was written the actual time in the communications. It wasn't. I double checked. The place was schmalllll!! That was probably the smallest toilet I've ever attended to. And I'm a short person. The toilet and the showers were separated and had a direct entrance from the hallway, which was quite weird and uncomfortable, unless you discover the full bathroom on the last floor. The intro and the check-in was quite lengthy, bit bothering if you have somewhere to be, still some important points were missed, like the bathroom. The common areas closed at 00:00.

I was unfortunate to have loud repairs in front of my window for 2 days, but I guess that was bad luck :)

The staffs there are super friendly. They care about your feeling. There are no lift in the hotel but the staff helped me to move the luggage without me asking. Thankful for that. They orgainse different activities everyday, and even offer free dinner at night. It is crazy. Even if you are an introvert like me, you can still take advantage of the time that people go outside and have a great evening by staying in an empty room.

There is no air-con inside the room. Better be back as late as possible as the temperature is lower at night. It will be a disaster if raining. Only one hanger in the bathroom. It would be nice if they can install more of it.
