We absolutely loved our stay at Juliette's, very clean, cosy yet roomy, with high ceilings. Traditionally furnished and decorated, made it feel like we visited a long lost family member who happens to live in a town house in one of the most beautiful parts of London, Notting Hill, only a stones throw from Portobello Market. Exceptional service, very polite staff and breakfast trolley, with abundance of food, brought to our room every morning was very well presented, on time and we found it a very nice touch. I don't usually leave reviews, but this place, people who run it and the staff absolutely deserve it. I always try and stay in Notting hill when in London, this was the 3rd time this year and I'm glad I stumbled upon this gem, because it's hands down the best place I stayed in, not only in Notting Hill, but in all of London. We would definately stay at Juliette's again and it will be the first place I'll check for availability next time we're planning a trip to London.

Not a single thing to fault

not a very large room, but very charming in the center of London. Breakfast was very ok. More than plenty. Served in the room. Parking available at location.

We traveled by car, and I had to find out how the LEZ, ULEZ, CCZ worked myself. Would be handy if they would give some more information on that themselves. Like: avoid CCZ, register upfront for LEZ, ULEZ. I

The best things about our stay were host Aleksandra and location. Aleksandra was marvelous, shopping to cater to our breakfast preferences, providing guidance and suggestions about the local area, and graciously answering our many questions. She, along with delightful Agnus, kindly delivered breakfast to our room. The location was perfect for us. Close to the Circle line of the underground, and near Portobello Road in Notting Hill, which has a terrific weekend market.

There is no air conditioning. That wasn't a surprise, since after all, this is a 300 year old property, with all the quirky charm that goes along with it. But it was hot the first couple of nights we were there, in mid-June. We would definitely stay here again, but not in July or August.

As a family, we enjoyed the fun breakfasts delivered to our room each morning. We also liked the lush trees and bushes outside our windows; the walk to and from the underground was easy and pleasant, and we found the hosts welcoming and helpful.

The bedroom had so many quaint decorative items scattered about the room that we had a hard time initially finding room for own stuff. Also, although the b&b is on a quiet street, it is at the corner of a busier street...so buses could be heard sometimes through windows that didn't always shut 100% tightly . That said, the slight noise never disturbed us, because the overall feeling of the accommodation itself was so relaxing that we slept deeply.

We like the location. It is a house in high-end residential neighborhood that is close to downtown. The house blends into neighborhood. It does not have any "Juliette's Bed and Breakfast" sign, just the address. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served in room gets you filled for the day (tea or coffee, orange juice, plain croissant, a few slices of toasted bread, butter, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereals, selection of fruits, ...).

The place can use some TLC. Burned out light bulb, slightly clogged drain, opening the window makes a lot of noise (don't do that in the middle of the night).

The continental breakfast was excellent with a great range of foods. I really liked that it was delivered to the room at the time of your choice. The rooms was very cosy with lovely decor. The location was quiet and we did not hear other guests. The location was fantastic being in a very fancy well kept area and only a 5 min walk to the tube and close to food shops, coffee shops and vintage clothing stores. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was a little cool but I understand heating is very expensive at the moment. Also while the shower was very nice and hot the drainage was poor.

The very helpful staff were excellent - they never fail to ask about my day, if my family and I were comfortable or offer help in anyway they can. The property is a 3 mins walk from the start of Portobello Market and the area well serviced by many supermarkets, restaurants and public transport within a 300m radius. The wider neighborhood also offers a lot more such as 2 farmer's markets towards Kensington area, Kensinton Palace, Hyde Park, Queen's Bowl, etc. The property is also in a relatively safe and quiet neighborhood which, despite its proximity to Portobello, returns to peace after 7pm. Despite the lack of variety, breakfast is always in abundance. The lovely Bubba (property mascot, Jack Russel Terrier) also manages to make an unusually cold December very cheerful.

Like many have said, the property requires a lot more than just tender loving care. Everywhere, there are signs of desperate repairs or refurbishment being needed - cracked walls and beams, floorboards that are coming apart, insufficient carpeting, etc. Better heating is needed I feel and this should not be difficult with portable heating fans while newer, thicker carpets can help with the footsteps of guests sounding through the entire property. Our toilet door always needed extra care (force) when closing and I know other rooms shared the same problem because I heard them too.

The home was a very short walk from the nearest tube station. Just down the street are local shops, restaurants, and such. The host was very helpful and quickly provided a fan for the room when we told her our travel fan was broken. We also enjoyed the brief visits from the little doggie that lives there. The place was quiet and relaxing, and we never heard the sound of other guests or street noises coming into our room. It was nice being able to make tea in our room too.

Please be aware that you’ll need to carry your luggage up and downstairs. Our host graciously offered to assist us with this. The room was tight, and the table in the room was difficult to sit at, and uncomfortable. It would help if the cushions were secured to the seats. The hot water in the shower didn’t get very hot, nor did it last long enough for the three of us to shower. The decor was very hodgepodge, and didn’t always feel like it belonged. The breakfast had a lot of variety, but it would be nice if it were a hot breakfast.

We loved our stay here. The room was spacious and charming. Julitta and Alex were so gracious and kind and went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. The property is lovely and both an easy walk to and from the underground while also being in a quiet neighborhood. A beautiful and abundant breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The sweet little dog added extra charm. They worked so hard to make us feel at home and we can’t say enough about how accommodating and kind they were.

We liked everything.

Breakfast sent to the room was a refreshing experience. The breakfast was good and generous.We requested for more heat & got an extra heater (electric). Shower's pressure and temperature was great too. Wifi was great, no problem for 5 gadgets streaming simultaneously. Alex & her colleague & Pintuck the dog (is the spelling right? :D ) were so sincerely accommodating.
