Our stay at The Princess Royal Notting Hill was absolutely fantastic. Very conveniently located in the heart of Notting Hill in a very quiet neighbourhood, boutiques, tearooms, tube and buses within an easy reach. All our expectations were met : a different concept of soulful pub with cosy and stylish rooms. Beautifully designed common areas, an intimate conservatory, a beautiful garden, a very confortable room with quality bed , pillows and linen. An impeccable bathroom and a lot of well thought of details : Alessi kettle, Ghd straightener (which made my wife happy), 100 acres beauty products and more. The room was perfectly soundproofing, we stayed 4 nights and not a single noise from the pub or the feasting rooms was heard. Every evening we enjoyed the pub's festive yet chic atmosphere and food was so delicious (a Mediterranean influenced menu) that we barely felt like going out somewhere else. We were definitely pampered by the staff, which currently is a quite rare thing. Our warmest thanks to James, Enrico, Manuel, Steve, Paul (sorry if we forgot a few names) as well as to the youngest team, who all made our journey an unforgettable one. We'll be back. Pietro and Luciana (P.S. For your information, to get up to the rooms a quite steep wooden stairs (approx 8/9 steps) has to be climbed.)

The team’s hospitality and accommodation was the highlight of the many places we have stayed throughout our honeymoon trip in Europe, which we wish to acknowledge. Gorgeous cosy room in the loveliest pub in the cutest neighbourhood. Very quiet and very comfortable, staff were all exceptionally friendly!

Not much not to like! A mini fridge to keep milk for tea in the room is the only change I’d make, though the staff were happy to give us milk to take up when needed!

we had big heavy bags, and there was a flight of stairs which was difficult for us. there isn’t a designated bellhop so it felt awkward to ask the waiters to help with the bags.

Service was exceptional! I felt very welcomed. Rooms considered and many well thought out details. I found it very quiet and private despite being on top of the bar restaurant. The beds were also super comfy and I enjoyed a restful sleep. Loved my stay, was the perfect Notting hill hide away! Close to all the best bits. Can’t wait for my next city break.

Staff were really good, a nice practical and stylish room

Bathroom extractor fan didn't work, so all mirrors steamed up. They should fix that.

The decor was fabulous, the room extremely comfy and stylish, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and helped in any requests we had.

Pub itself and room were great. Area was amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive

Room was a little small but then it was a 'cozy double' and it was in London!

there wasn’t any hot water - which the hotel were v apologetic and gave me a discount following this.
