The staff was simply lovely. When we arrived there was a handwritten note thanking us for our reservation, which I have never had happen at any hotel. The staff were very helpful and gave us good tips as we were a big group traveling through for our first visit in London. Added plus is that it was right off the Earl’s Court tube stop.

Coming from America, we are used to more space or adjoining hotel rooms for our family of 5. We realized that our expectations aren’t in line with how hotels usually operate overseas, so the hotel placed our 2 rooms right next to each other, which was perfect.

If you want to feel like home in a big city when you travel that’s the place to be because that’s the feeling you get from the very first moment you set foot in this cozy place. The stuff starting from the hotel manager, all the girls at the reception desk and the cleaning ladies are extremely kind always smiling and eager to help. It’s definitely a place to go again whenever we travel back to London and to recommend to friends Special thanks to Aggeliki and Maria for making our staying even more pleasant. We can’t wait to go back! Definitely recommend it!

The helpful staff, the room facilities; kettle, microwave, fridge, sink

We had a small double room which wasn't big enough to sit in really. If you're staying for one night you can manage but for a longer stay it would not be suitable. It was the last room available when we booked online and it has become clear that you will get a better deal if you book direct with The Resident Hotel instead of through an online site. I'm sure that the bigger rooms would be perfect for a longer stay but it seems that all the hotels all over the world are full at the time of writing, it's certainly hard to find a good one at a reasonable price. The Resident is reasonably priced given the location if you book direct, which I didn't do.

Though the room is quite small, it is extremely well-appointed. Perfect, in my opinion, for a solo traveler who is trying to frugally spend professional funds. The location was wonderful and felt super safe. About a block from Earl's Court tube station, so very well connected to the London network, with Cromwell Street right around the corner. I was shocked to find such a complete kitchenette in the room inside what I thought was a closet-- including a microwave, mini-fridge, kettle, plates, and silverware. The room also includes a hairdryer and on the last day I was there I found an ironing board and iron under the bed. The A/C worked well and the bed was small yet comfortable for one. The hotel was happy to store our luggage upon arrival until we were able to check-in. I'd stay again!

This room was perfect for a professional solo trip, but I wouldn't quite call it "romantic" if you were traveling as a couple. It is a single room by design, so perhaps double rooms are a bit different. My room was below street level, so maybe it was different, but I kept thinking there was no way my 6'3 husband could have showered there. The ceiling in the shower was quite low, but I'm 5'2 so I was fine!

The staff were wonderful, so helpful. Because I was celebrating a birthday while I was there, they put balloons and banners in my room as well as a hand written card and a gift of chocolate. This was very much appreciated and a lovely touch. They also ensured our room was ready early for check in.

The room was very small, I understand this is typical for London and this part of London but we have stayed in others much bigger for a similar price. The bed was small and wedged into a corner with walls on three sides and a desk on the side that you could get in and out from.

Location (close to the Earl’s Court tube station), fridge and kettle + tea and coffee in the room, excellent bed

The carpet in the room was not very clean; would have preferred separate duvets instead of one; possibility for a late check-out would have been appreciated; the toilet in our room started to leak and became unusable in the last day, but since the hotel had no vacant double rooms, we were not able to move to a new room :(. Would have been nice if we had been offered compensation for the room price instead of a pair of slippers and a free glass of wine or tea/coffee (which we already had in our room)…

The location is fantastic. We walked to Kensington Palace, the Natural History Museum, Harrods, restaurants in South Kensington and to shops on Kensington High Street. It is a few minutes walk to the Piccadilly, Circle and District line at Earl's Court tube station. We loved the view of greenery from our room. So nice not to be looking out at a wall. The ability to make breakfast in our room saved us money which we could then use for other things. I loved the welcome drinks concept, and thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the foyer area with other travellers.

Perhaps the addition of a toaster in the breakfast nook.

Terrific location one block from Earls Court Piccadilly line on the tube. It made for easy transfer from airport and to San Pancras. In a terrific area near South Kensington, plenty of places to eat and easy to get to London attractiions. The property was clean and decorated very nicely with nice lobby area. Rooms are clean and pleasant.

Perhaps we had booked the small room but it was extremely small with walls around 3 sides of the bed. It somehow looked a bit bigger in the photos. Beds were comfortable and otherwise well decorated.

.Location is great, short walk to Gloucester Rd and even shorter to Earl's Court tube stations. Rooms small but perfect for two of us sharing, with locker seperating the beds which isn't always the case as sometimes beds can be too close together!!Bathroom great size with bath, strong shower and lovely toiletries and towels. Could open the windows too for fresh air and only noise we heard was occasional fellow guests in the corridor. Loved the complimentary wine and prosecco on arrival... and departure! Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel is a gorgeous, quiet and affluent part of London, it's fairly quiet late in evening and I'm not sure I'd like to be walking from underground stations to hotel alone. There were two of us so I felt safe on this occasion.
