1 Lexham Gardens Hotel

Great location, halfway between Earls Court and Gloucester stations making it easy to get around on the Underground. Rooms were small but a decent size for two people. Daily housekeeping service was greatly appreciated and staff were very helpful.

No fridge in the room became quite an inconvenience, not being able to have somewhere to keep cold drinks especially as it was very warm in London during our stay. Rooms are dated and bathrooms need a deep clean. Shower didn’t drain properly so water would pool at your feet when showering almost instantly.

Well located and easy to find. Nice little touches such shampoo/soap etc. Plenty of tea and coffee. A short 7-8 minute walk to Earls Court train station. Lots of places around to eat, drink, shop etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Was a little loud at night but not too bothered as it is quite expected for London. Quite a small space, but all we needed for just one night stay. Fire alarm went off in the night for a few minutes but turned off as we were leaving our room. Many people stood around the corridor confused and no staff came to give any information. All eventually went back to bed as we heard nothing of it.

A beautiful building with very pleasing decor! The rooms were decent considering I booked a room for 6 people. It’s a 5 minute walk from Earl’s Court making it so accessible! We walked in expecting to be top to tail with one another but ended up being pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and how comfy the beds were. Having fans in the room was a godsend on such a hot day too! The tea/ coffee station in the room was very well stocked, there were more than enough towels provided, and the soap provided smelt great! It averaged out at £40 each for the night which I feel is quite cheap for Kensington so this was certainly a hidden gem.

The location is perfect and a 5 minute walk to the underground. Lovely amenities for us such as shampoo and conditioner etc and lovely big towels!!! Polite and friendly staff. Able to leave luggage after check-out. Good choice of drinks etc in the vending machine in the reception.

How warm the room was. Thankfully the window did open but wasn’t sure on how to keep it open. I know this isn’t the hotels fault but a lorry came to collect glass bottles at stupid o’clock and it was super loud. The bathroom also smelt like drains, thank fully this didn’t smell the room out and also, the door didn’t close properly.

Excellent location (close to Piccadilly line which is direct from Heathrow). Good value for a single traveler. Short walk to museums and restaurants but in a relatively quieter part of London.

I could hear the person in the adjacent room snoring through the walls. However with the air conditioning on, this white noise eliminated the sound. Also the room had plenty of space to include a chair, however the only place to sit was the bed. As typical with London visits one spends very little time in one’s room so this was not a huge deal…

The hotel was an ideal location for The Science Museum, The National History Museum and tube stations. The hotel was clean, as was the room. The room and bathroom were small but it’s what I expected as it’s London and not an expensive hotel. The beds (double and two singles) were comfortable (lots of pillows) and the sheets were soft. No air conditioning in the room but there was a window and fan so the temperature was fine. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great (good coffee) and free for under 7s. Excellent, free WiFi.

The location outside is stunning, a beautiful library is set in the entrance. The position is perfect if you want to visit Hyde park by foot and have a fun night in Kensington, it's also perfect for who, like me, travel a lot with the underground lines. The staff was super polite and my room was ready way before the check in time: so when I arrived a little past midday I could leave my luggage in the room. The room itself was a little bit too small for my tastes, and maybe lacks (due to the little space) some essential feature like a little table or a luggage stand, but it was enough for me and what I had to do, sleep there one night in the center of Kensington. (Also the water bottle and the little biscuit and all the courtesy set were amazing!)

Perfect! Great place to stay in London! It's really really central! You can take a short walk into Kensington and Chelsea and appreciate the city by foot. The more far away attractions/spots are easily reachable by tube which is Earl's Court station, and it's a few minutes by foot from the hotel!! Bonus: From Earl's Court station, you can directly reach to Heathrow airport! The hotel is lovely! For the price, you really are well served! The rooms were comfortable and exceeded our expectations! The breakfast which we took on our last day at the hotel was good too and for the price, in our opinion, its a must since you can't eat that well and in that quantity in any place in London. The people there were incredibly nice, and the streets were super quiet at night!! The most important question after anyone's stay: Would you come back? Absolutely!!! And will for sure!!

The staff was nice and helpful When they cleaned the room they gave us more condiments most places doesn't top them up It's near shops and places to eat its abit of a walk to city centre but its nice walk Had quite a lot of space for the size of the room Bed was really comfortable

The room could do with a bit more cleaning such as dust on the headboard Maybe could do with a fresh coat of paint They had work going on next door so all you could hear from 8 was banging and drilling but not really the places fault for that On the first day we turned the lights on then they just turned off for some reason for like 10 mins and then they came. A n on after that

Very reasonable prices of food, nice entrance, fantastic location, friendly staff. Lift, clean bedding and towels every day.

One socket did not work in the bedroom. Seems this one which has been operating electric radiator, we got electric heater but was without legs- stand so seemed to be a bit wobbly and I have been with 1 year old so I had to leave it in the bathroom as little one would definitely touched it and burn himself so like: not expensive fix for the hotel in the bedroom and not massive issue for me but should be fixed. Nothing more negative found in the hotel at all.
