The Henrietta Hotel

The central London location is excellent & the hotel was surprisingly quiet during the night. The staff are very friendly and the room was well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts are good with a choice of high quality produce.

We needed to cross the street to get to the restaurant for breakfast. Which rooms are located in each building is not clear from the website. The fire alarm went off at 3:30 AM when we were in a deep sleep. Fortunately it was a false alarm & we could go back to our rooms after 30 minutes. The general manager (Joanna) handled the matter very professionally in the morning. It transpired it wasn't the hotel's fault at all so we have no complaints! We would definitely stay again.

This place beats any place not only in London but for a regular traveler, it beats any place I have stayed in many countries, including 5 stars hotels. The room and bathroom were spotless, quite spacious that almost felt like a suite. The windows were super nice and big so the room was bright even in the cloudy days I was there for. The staff are extremely nice; they are super polite and they go really out of their way to make sure you are comfortable in the hotel but even help you with any questions in relation to places to go to. I didn’t book the room with breakfast so unfortunately I didn’t try breakfast but I did room service and everything I ordered from simple snacks to real meals was really nice. It is cooked with care and love. None of the meals were just like normal meals but everything, including desserts was really creative and so tasty so they must have an amazing chef. If I go back to London, I will definitely stay in this very cute boutique and beautiful hotel. Thanks for making my stay a really nice one♥️

Absolutely nothing

excellent location. friendly staff. room was immaculate. will def be back. only thing to add is they breakfast menu just a little restricted for children. maybe add a waffle machine or pancakes to the menu.

The room was really lovely, large en-suite with double basins, fully stocked mini bar, windows that could open, the perfect temperature. Honestly can’t fault the room or location. We had a rear room which overlooked a garden and it was quiet at night also.

The buffet breakfast was very tasty but at £24 each I felt it was expensive when it didn’t include a fully cooked breakfast nor a more varied choice of coffee eg cappuccino. These are available at additional price. You could get breakfast in surrounding cafes cheaper but I do like the ease of having it where I’m staying and as porridge/eggs are included I had poached eggs with toast. I’d selected breakfast when booking and hadn’t realised what was included, so just be aware.

Linens weren’t crisp looking, so the high end feeling of the hotel was lost a bit—- not quite as lux as the photographs make it seem. Using a physical key is kinda old fashioned. Didn’t love that we could just say a room number and whoever was at the desk would just hand over the key, no security with that. bathroom doesn’t have a fan so heavy condensation every time you shower—- didn’t feel clean

service was great. went to the main building but my room is at another building opposite the original hotel. the receptionist was so kind to walk me over to the actual building.. highly recommend for this hotel.

shower door was not properly fixed and hence, water were sipping out causing the floor wet. But it just a minor and bearable issue and hopefully it can be fixed. (room 28)

Hotel/Room very clean. well decorated, comfy bed, good towels, warm, bottled water.excellent location.

wardrobe space good for 1-2 nights not really more. Description did not detail that reception/rooms are on 1st floor upwards, accessed by a street door and then stairs or very small lift. Not a problem for us but may be for some. We were informed that restaurant/breakfast and bar across road not on the premises, again not a problem for us.

Great location in Covent Garden. Very clean and comfortable room. Plenty to do nearby including shops and very good restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Garden view of the church courtyard was very nice.

Nothing we can think of except maybe the minor inconvenience of walking to the end of the block to catch a taxi. However, that’s offset by the plus of the traffic on Henrietta street being limited to AM deliveries and closed off for just pedestrians the rest of the day.

The Henrietta was so cute and convenient for my first visit to London! I traveled here for work but had an extra night to explore the city before heading to a more "out of the way" area of town, and I saw that many blogs and sites recommended Henrietta. I'm so glad I went with the suggestion! The Henrietta is right in the middle of Covent Garden. There are a ton of markets, shops, restaurants, and bars in short walking distance and so many fun things to see. I arrived many hours before check-in and the staff offered me an area to freshen up and immediately checked my bags in a safe location; they ultimately delivered them to my room for me as well. They went to work trying to accommodate my early check-in request as well and called me as soon as the room was available. The room itself was elegant and cozy. I especially loved the bathroom — gorgeous interior design, heated towel bar, robes and slippers, etc. The mini bar options were awesome as well! they even allowed for a slightly later check out time and again held my bags for free while I headed out to work at coffee shops the next day. The price is so worth it — I will definitely return here.

I stayed in their new building, which is across the street from their main building, and I don't believe there were any amenities in it. I can't think of anything I was missing as there was an excellent espresso machine in my room with coffee and tea free of charge and other great add-ons, but something that may be of note for other guests.

The hotel does not have a lobby. There are 2 buildings, one with a restaurant and the second feels like an apartment building rather than a hotel. We had issues with the toilet’s drainage that was solved every day but kept on coming back. The isolation in the room and especially in the shower is not great, so it can get cold and noisy. It is no problem after 23 and it did not bather us, but one should know
