Some of the staff could have been nicer, found the manager at The Good Godfrey bar rather surly and rude, we were 14 mins late to our table and he had given it away, we then struggled to find somewhere else to have dinner. Put a dampener on our whole experience.

The location is excellent. Check in was performed quickly and politely. The price was decent. The room is comfortable and clean.

TV did not work. Mildly annoying, not serious. Mentioned it on check out and was told they would report it to maintenance but did not apologise. Again trivial, but manners would have been appreciated.

We had a couple of issues with our first room - stiff shower control making it hard to operate, also awful tv picture. I mentioned it at the desk and they moved us virtually within 30 minutes to a room that was very good and no issues at all. My main point I would like the management to know is that the staff listened to me and rectified the situation and made our stay at the hotel memorable for us at it was our 50th wedding anniversary. All the staff from the concierge to the happy door men very so helpful. Well done to you all.

Everything. There is so much to do in London and this hotel is perfect for getting about. The bedroom where so warm and inviting. Staff where very welcoming and friendly. only downside was breakfast it absolutely Crap. Don't have breakfast go out and get it. otherwise this is an absolutely beautiful hotel. We are so impressed we return in January to do more site seeing and the Waldorf is where we will be staying.

BREAKFAST - Crap go out to eat breakfast unless you've got access to executive lounge. For some reason its lively in there.

Very helpful staff, comfortable beds and quiet room. First morning of our stay, the breakfast was delicious.

I had requested a room fan prior to arrival, when booking. I rang again to check that they had received the request and was assured that they had. No fan was in the room. The swimming pool, which was one of the reasons for booking the hotel, was cold and a long walk from anywhere! We didn't bother after the first visit. The breakfast on the second morning was disappointing. We asked for poached eggs. When they eventually arrived after asking several times, the rest of the breakfast was cold and not enjoyable.

The location was excellent. It was very convenient for the sightseeing we planned during our first visit to London. Restaurants were nearby. The breakfast included was very good. The hot items were hot which is very important to me. Overall the staff was very helpful and friendly .

The hvac in our first room didn’t work. When it couldn’t be fixed, we were moved to another room. The staff took care of the problem quickly and to our satisfaction.

The location of the hotel short walk from Waterloo station and with the theatre right next door couldn't be happier. The staff from the main door to the cleaning staff al happy to say hello and have a chat. Was our anniversary other the weekend and the hotel acknowledged this with a card and a slice of chocolate cake which was very nice.

The room decor was looking that it needed a bit of TLS and an explanation about the mini bar would be a good idea (if you move items within the fridge it is on a pressure pad and you will be charged), this was sorted with a conversation to the front desk.

The Waldorf is close to Trafalgar Square and even closer to Covent Garden and the Royal Opera House. We had a wonderful room on floor 7. The staff was kind and paid attention to our needs. Even before we could express our needs. Perfect !

The Eggs Benedict did not cost extra in 2011. But now a days we had to pay extra. However, we did not order Eggs Benedict. For the calories. The Palm garden was open for breakfast. But suddenly it was closed. No-one explained why. But we came in early for breakfast. So we had plenty of space. No problem. But the room was dark and no bright spot on the dishes for breakfast. In the fitness room I found much more spot directly in the eyes when using the benches. The tiny window on 7th floor have not been polished since WWII or at least before This century.

Room was ok, although we didn’t feel it had the “wow” factor considering we paid for a “room upgrade” Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and couldn’t fault the location

Bar Prices!!!……Having stayed at previous other hotels, i.e Royal Lancaster over looking Hyde Park, we found your bar prices extortionate!!!! How they can justify £34 for 1 Bacardi and Coke and 1 Vodka and Coke is beyond me and we would NEVER have a drink in the hotel bar again. They also over charged on the room upgrade , charged us twice (2 x £86, instead of just 1 x £86)which they have processed a refund but this stay was for my Wife’s 50th and these couple a things just put a little downer on our stay , good job I checked my bank otherwise I wouldn’t have known they’d charged me twice for this upgrade
