The Westin London City

If I could rate this hotel 6* I would. Everything from the second we stepped out of our car we got greeted with a smile and helpful concierge. Escorted to the main reception to check in with Andres, he took his time to wish my fiancé a happy birthday and even upgraded our room which was beautiful, modern and spacious. The other girl on reception gifted our daughter a nice welcome pack full of fun arts and crafts. The location is just beautiful, close to st Paul’s and lots of shops and restaurants. We choose to eat in the hotel restaurant 2 nights, again the staff there were so lovely and would do anything to accommodate us. The food was out of this world. They have a real pizza oven, was delicious and the steak and sides were very tasty and cooked to perfection. Also kid friendly. Cocktails beautiful too. Sadly we didn’t get to try the spa but used the pool and facilities and we all loved the luxurious feel around the pool area. Towels were very soft and plenty of them, robes from the room were very luxurious and the beds round the pool area were fantastic. Also one night we got back to the hotel exhausted and hungry from a hard days shopping, the kind man at reception over heard us talking about taking our load of heavy bags up to our room and he told us not to worry to leave all our bags at reception and he would take them up to our room for us so we could go straight to enjoying our lovely meal. He came back over to us and explained that our room light was flashing DND and also to service so he wanted permission to enter as it was unclear which one we had put on, explained the room hadn’t been serviced by house keeping because of it and at 9pm got our room turned down for us. Wish I could have remembered his name but it was a Scottish man. So kind and thoughtful. I honestly feel like every single staff member has been hand picked for this hotel. I can’t wait to return

The place is amazing

Room service was terrible. Room service isnt good at all. Premier inn hotel can do better with room service. Excuse was short on staff why not hire agency for the price we paid to clean the room. Be aware room service is very poor. Management advised will be touch what happen their. didnt get a call or email poorly managed. Overall good view and breakfast is amazing if your ordering. buffet is a standard breakfast. Will visit again? Due to poor room service definitely will be staying the shangri-la shrad london instead. No hard feelings.

Breakfast was tasty and filling with a selection of fresh fruit and even an omelette station! Staff were extremely helpful and polite even on checkout; we did not feel rushed. Complimentary drinks were given at reception, a Valentine’s Day chocolate board and all needs were accommodated.

Staff were amazing and the hotel was very kid friendly

£79 deposit was taken and I was told Full amount would be refunded if I didn’t damage anything on departure I was told that a service charge was taken from that amount and I would be refunded £51 . This should have been mentioned before they took my deposit.

A very comfortable hotel with great modern facilities. The food in the bar and restaurant was delicious and the staff in general that we came in to contact with were exceptionally friendly and professional. Some nice touches like Hot Chocolate and Prosecco on arrival.

Although the staff were perfectly friendly at breakfast they seemed to be more focused on clearing and setting up tables than looking after guests. The general atmosphere appeared to be quite manic even though there were only about 20 guests present and we were left with plates that we had finished with for a long time.

I was celebrating my 50th birthday on the weekend at the Westin with my closest friends. We were disappointed in the size and the view from the family room that was originally allocated to us, and being that it was a special celebration, they upgraded us to the presidential suite!! Turned out to be the loveliest birthday celebration ever!! Huge thanks to Alehandro and Guilia who did the upgrade and made us feel so welcome and loved up!! Spa facilities and breakfast was amazing. The Westin is an absolutely fabulous choice for a top quality hotel stay in London.

Meal portions ordered to the room were a little small, but honestly, that was the only negative comment .

Excellent very big and quiet room, the soundproofing was the best I have experienced in any hotel. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices, no queues, attentive staff. Location great, two tube stops / lines, St. Paul and Mansion House close by.

If one wants to be picky, no vanity kit with K-tips etc. in the bathroom. Fiddly lighting. Breakfast marmelade "bon maman" instead of the much better Wilkings, especially odd, because all the other jams were Wilkins. A bit on the expensive side.

Level of customer service and attention paid to customer satisfaction were really very impressive. Central location serviced by multiple transport hubs. A stone's throw from beautiful Saint Paul's cathedral. Dinner at the hotel restaurant Mosaic was surprisingly good. Indoor pool perfect for the little one. Cocktail bar with glorious view of the Thames and drinks were fabulous. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. A special shout out to Giulia at the front desk. She greeted us on check in with genuine hospitality - first impressions go a long way!!

I booked The Westin for my birthday weekend and I had the best time, the guest experience team really made my stay enjoyable, relaxing and extra special. Upon check-in me and best friend were greeted with a glass bubbles on arrival. We had a mini tour of the hotel before going to the room to get ready for our dinner reservations. My room was also upgraded, it was truly unexpected and made the weekend that much more amazing. I ordered a birthday package for the room; a bottle of bubbles, personalized happy birthday desserts with a thoughtful happy birthday card. The dessert I tasted delicious. I can't went to visit again and the French toast at breakfast was best I've had definitely recommend it. Me and my best friend also had a spa treatment which was so relaxing.

There was a van park at the entrance so my Uber driver wasn't able to park directly outside the hotel which I didn't like but the front house staff was there to assist with my luggage as I entered the hotel.

The decoration is beautiful. The hotel is immaculately clean. The breakfast is lovely, excellent and vast choice on offer. The chef is happy to cook you an omelette and prepare your toast and staff are so friendly…. Oh and the beds are to die for!!! Best night sleep I’ve ever had in London. I really love the fact that family rooms include two extremely comfortable beds and don’t stick the children on a sofa bed.
