South Place Hotel

Location is 10/10. Perfect for couples. The room has a wide range of additional items you can buy which is a nice touch. Drinks, food (good stuff as well), an ‘intimacy kit’, earphones, adapters etc. All of which are nicely presented in drawers. The radio in the room can connect via Bluetooth to your phone, so play music. Good choice of films on the TV

There could have been more plugs. There are adequate plugs already, but found myself having to unplug my charger to plug in hair dryer etc. The TV remote, whilst modern, is so heavy that it could be used as an effective ‘club’ in a life or death situation.

The breakfast was outstanding, as well as the lunch; however, there were not to many lunch options on the menu. The location is great as there are many stores near by, within a 15 minute walk radius. The rooms were very comfortable, modern, and clean. Service was great and the restaurant was extremely fast.

The services such as the sauna and steam room were not working during our stay which was frustrating. The gym was good but lacked some basic equipment such as a pull-up bar. The mini bar could have used some healthy snacks, but that wasn't a massive issue.

I would like to give a big shoutout to the front desk staff, Daria! 1. Due to the deposit requirement, I noticed some stains on the chair cushions after checking in and immediately reported it to the front desk, explaining that it wasn't caused by me. Daria promptly responded, saying, "Please let us take care of it!" 2. After checking out, I needed to store my luggage until the evening. I asked Daria where I could buy a cardboard box. Seeing me with multiple bags in the rain, she first took me to a comfortable changing room and told me I could repack and organize myself there. She even helped me find the perfect-sized cardboard box. When I offered to pay for it, she insisted that it wasn't necessary. Later, I couldn't properly thank her as the shuttle arrived, so I decided to publicly acknowledge her exceptional service here. Her performance deserves to be recognized by everyone! Respecting guests, understanding their needs, going the extra mile, and always wearing a big smile – she is the best hotel staff I have encountered in the post-pandemic era! I am truly, deeply grateful.

The hotel as a whole and our room was gorgeous so clean and modern and good location. We loved it

Requested late check out, it got declined which is fine. But our train wasn’t until 8pm and the hotel wouldn’t provide us with any space to put our bags so we were left with big cases to pull round London Also it wasn’t made clear that quite a big deposit would be taken on arrival on top of the original fee

The room was fantastic, however I arrived late, around midnight, and arranging a sandwich to room service took some chasers and almost 45 minute instead of the 10 promised. When it sandwich arrived, it was clear it had been made for quite a few hours, so how it took so long to bring it up is beyond me. That said, it didnt impair my stay, which despite brief was extremely comfortable and i could have wished for nothing else.

Fantastic hotel, amazing friendly and happy staff! Great location. We had a few issues such as the pillows were very flat so we opted for different ones but they were still to soft. The carpet in the room had black marks on it and the room service breakfast was cold ( this was removed from our bill with no questions asked and a huge sincere apology). However none of the above ruined our stay and were just little things that can be improved.

Just the pillows, we didn't sleep very well because we found the pillows very very soft. (we ended up sleeping with 3 pillows to bring them up to the height of one! I would suggest to invest in a better quality pillow

The whole hotel smells amazing as you enter the lobby. The room itself was very clean and you're provided with plenty toiletries, towels and robes which you'll need after soaking in their luxurious deep bathtubs. There was also plenty of different lighting options to set the mood. The bathtub is honestly enough of a selling point alone.

Not much of a view outside window just tall office buildings in the way at least from my room. TV is out dated I'd expect something a bit newer with smart features for the price, but again I'd come back here for just the bathroom.

hotel design , cleanliness. friendly staff . well equipped modern style rooms , with everything you will need . definitively worth mention are spectacular bathtubs and unusually comfortable bed . minibar with snacks and drinks (which unfortunately as to my understanding are charged extra)

bit expensive , however understandable since its right in the centre of london . however the views from hotel are not something out of this world , overlooking some not busy one way street with some office building across . pretty mediocre taking into account the price

Great location- 5 mins walk from Liverpool St Station. Very clean- lovely bedroom

Reception staff on check - in asked for £120 deposit on our credit card- even though I had paid upfront in full!! They said there were expensive items in the room that people steal!!!! I didn’t like the implication we would take ANYTHING from the room! this was before we had even arrived in the room.

The overall look and ambience is lovely, the rooms are a lovely size with many nice luxurious touches to justify the cost.

nothing. There was honestly nothing to complain about at all. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating, the rooms are lovely, everything was super clean and well maintained. The location is ideal for tourists - close to the tube, but tucked away enough to be super peaceful and quiet at night. I loved it.
