The interior design was stunning. The staff were very friendly. The bed & pillows were super comfy. The location was perfect for where we were going, no Ubers needed! It was also very quiet in the room.

Upon walking in, the reception area to check in/out wasn’t very clear and was actually very noisy as it’s a desk based in the middle of the restaurant. The water pressure was quite weak and there wasn’t much water coming out of the taps. The lifts were also very slow.

Room was perfect size and air conditioning worked well. It smelled beautiful and the music playing from the digital radio when you walk in is a great, relaxing touch. It was on a main road but really quiet, great sound insulation. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff very friendly, the rooftop bar area was also beautiful, had a nice vibe and great staff. Will return!

Loved the design, the room was really comfortable and location was great. I also enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and quiet spaces to work in the lobby.

Nothing I didn’t like, but for the price I would have wished there were some extra amenities like small spa or a gym

The lovely reception staff accommodated our early check-in request, which meant we were able to leave all our bags in the room and head out. So helpful! The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and we barely heard any noise. The bed was extremely comfortable with a really squishy duvet. It was my partner's birthday so they had even left a thoughtful note and some sweets for him in the room. The hotel is brilliantly located to explore Southbank, Westminster, Covent Garden and beyond. There are lots of attractions within 10-15 minutes' walk, for example the BFI, the National Theatre, London Dungeons... we went to the BFI Odeon iMax to see a film. After strolling along the river we wandered back to the hotel and sat in some very comfy armchairs in The Albie. We had a few drinks and a bite to eat. It was all delicious. The cocktails are quite pricy but beers and so on were standard London pricing. The bar area is very tastefully done and has a relaxed atmosphere. We could have spent longer but we had to get ready to meet some friends. We got back too late unfortunately to sample the desserts or cocktails up in the Seabird. (The kitchen closed at 10.30 and the bar closed at 11.30). But they did let us pop up to relax on the beautiful terrace/balcony and admire the views of London at night. The music was fun, there were heaters to stop you getting too chilly in the breeze and it felt like being on holiday. (FYI the reception have a mini bar if you fancy a night cap but the choice is a bit limited). We both slept so well and would happily have stayed in bed hours longer were it not for commitments. We had arranged to have brunch elsewhere so we didn't sample breakfast in the hotel. All in all a lovely stay and we both want to come back!

restaurants and workspace were excellent. location was great. access to nearby gym was great. decor was lovely and bed was comfortable.

staff could definitely be more helpful. not all but enough of them. some were excellent. some didn’t seem to care. $10 charge for gym seems unnecessary. you don’t have a gym. give us free passes to walk the 15 minutes to the fairly standard one you’re partnered with. standard room is very small. ideal for just one person.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Hoxton in London Southwark, and I can confidently say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the hotel's outstanding features and unparalleled service. First and foremost, the location of the hotel was incredibly convenient, with a metro station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel's design was modern, chic, and full of character, with unique touches that made it stand out from other hotels. Every corner of the hotel was beautifully curated, creating a stylish and inviting ambiance. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the exceptional staff. The team at The Hoxton went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. As a special surprise for my boyfriends birthday, they left a thoughtful gift in our room, which made us feel incredibly valued and appreciated as a guest. The hotel's bar downstairs was a trendy and vibrant space, perfect for enjoying cocktails and mingling with other guests. The restaurant on the first and top floor was simply outstanding, offering a diverse menu with delicious dishes that satisfied my culinary cravings. The attention to detail and quality of food and drinks was top-notch. In conclusion, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend The Hoxton to anyone seeking a remarkable stay in London Southwark, and I look forward to returning in the future. See you soon again!

The hotel's location couldn't have been better. Situated on the vibrant South Bank, we were just a short 5-minute walk away from the underground, making exploring the city incredibly convenient. The hotel itself exudes a cozy yet stylish ambiance. The attention to detail in the design and decor was evident, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The cleanliness of the entire property was also commendable, and it added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The staff were not only professional but also very friendly. Their warm welcome and helpfulness throughout our visit made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the hotel's bar and restaurant. The superb offerings on the menu truly impressed us. The combination of delectable dishes and a great selection of drinks made for a delightful dining experience. In conclusion, our stay at this hotel was a remarkable experience. Its fantastic location, stylish setting, cleanliness, friendly staff, and outstanding dining options contributed to a truly memorable visit. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in London's vibrant South Bank.

This is a really lovely hotel to stay at. The welcome at reception was amazing and super friendly. The design of the hotel is also very nice...contemporary rustic but very comfortable too. We stayed in a 'cosy' room category which was a reasonable size with a lovely bathroom featuring a superb rain shower. We were facing the main road but didn't experience any issues with traffic noise at all. The hotel is very well located for the Tate Modern and it's only a short walk along the river to the the South Bank area. We booked the Seabird Restaurant on the first night...an amazing rooftop venue on top of the hotel which would be fantastic in the summer although there were plenty of heaters if you wanted to sit outside and brave the early spring weather. We were seated near the kitchen service area at first which was a little too noisy and brightly lit for us. After requesting to move, we had a much nicer seat with stunning views across the city. The fish was amazing and the service was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely head back to The Hoxton on our next visit to London.

Comfortable bed and nice and quiet in the rooms for sleep. Had 2 very early starts for a conference, and the quiet was appreciated. Good location, close to transport links. Little fridge stocked with fresh water and milk.

They'd thought about putting a clothes steamer in, instead of an iron. However neither me nor maintenance could work it? Be great if there was a plant based milk option - they are long life tbf so if not opened easily reutilised again. The room didn't get made up. I probably missed the notice about that but it would have been great to have the option/clearer info as was staying a few nights.
