Location was great, very central. Rooms were clean and comfortable. English breakfast was good, and I liked they brought it out to you on demand not self serve style.

Wifi connection was very poor. Walls were thin so can heat other guest, but that’s a common accommodation issue. There’s a luggage storage fee of 5 pounds so if you’re looking for budget accommodation take into you may spend a bit more if you need luggage storage. I arrived at 2.15pm for a 3pm check in, my room was available but to get access 45 mins early it was 10 pounds, or 5 pounds to store the luggage. I had somewhere I needed to be at 3 so I chose the 5pound option. I wasn’t super impressed considering the room was ready and I was only 45mins early, but I understand rules are rules. It’s something for other travelers to be mindful of.

location is excellent. Three doors up from W-Spoons, perfect for breakfast after a night out and a 3 minute walk to primark and other shops 😉 really big bed, (super king) and staff were really friendly and welcoming. On a night the they lock the front door and ask you for your name and room number to enter which made it feel safer and the noise wasn’t bad considering it’s very central location.

Nothing really. This is a budget hotel, so looks like one. It is not winning any interior design awards anytime soon but it’s clean and comfy and cheap, you get what you pay for. it’s perfect for keeping the costs down on your night out, after a few drinks you don’t care what colour the walls are or what the carpet looks like.

It was a really enjoyable experience staying here! We stayed for 2 nights and the value was absolutely brilliant! It was a very basic hotel and the location was absolutely perfect. Everything we wanted to do and see was always within a 5-10 minute walk, the tram and train station were only a 5 minute walk away also. The hotel felt very safe too! The doors had triple locks, and after a certain time you have to ring the buzzer and confirm your name and room number to gain entry which was reassuring of our safety. The staff were super also! Everyone we encountered was super polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Nothing. This hotel is a perfect basic hotel which serves its purpose perfectly for a city break!

The room was beautiful, being bright and airy due to the big window which was open. A fan had been, thoughtfully, left on when I arrived during a hot afternoon. Ensuite facilities were fine and there was a lovely big bath-tub, which I had requested whilst booking. There was plenty of hot water in the taps. There was a city view from the window of the room. The bed was very comfortable, with good clean bedding, which allowed me to sleep well. There was a hospitality-tray and a wardrobe with mirror-fronted doors and plenty of hangers. There was a chain on the back of the main bedroom door, which gave extra security. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty on the plate. Staff were friendly and efficient !

Nice quality curtains to close and block the view ! Clean room, it was comfortable for a night once I settled into it. It was fairly quiet too and a heavy chain and lock on the door. Wow! The room had everything I needed and a nice large TV Infront of the bed. Good places to eat when you step outside the hotel. It was fine for one night

I didn't like arriving at the entrance to guys sitting on the steps smoking, taking my suitcase with smokey hand without asking me to carry it up the stairs as though I wasn't capable. It also felt intimidating and forceful. No idea if they were guests, staff or guys who decided to sit there for a smoke. Reception area not such a welcoming looking space. I didn't like being asked for my passport and without asking my permission taking it away and not telling me why. I had to ask and was told they are taking a copy. I think this shouldn't be allowed. Taking a copy of a British Citizens passport without permission..as though it is their right or I can't stay after paying!? Staff could be more professional and upbeat on arrival going by my first impression Bedroom without a view .

Location is the main advantage of this establishment. It is located in the very centre of Manchester. I like the location and the affordability. Both were great. The room was reasonably big, quiet as it has room into inner space over the roof of the lobby. The staff was friendly.

I don't fancy AC but the room was extremely hot. Like a furnace. The moment I stepped out of the shower I was dripping sweat again. The glass roof over the lobby to which we had window turned out to be extremely noisy when raining. It was like a drum. Very big drum.

The welcome we got from the front-desk staff was brilliant. Friendly, helpful, keen to make sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. We had a windowless room, which we had chosen on booking for cost-saving reasons. We were expecting the worst, but it was actually really nice, clean and well-appointed with tea and coffee facilities and a good size shower/bathroom.

It is an astonishingly central location - which is fantastic, but also inevitably means that there's a lot of 'life' going on in the immediate surroundings. The front doorway was a bit hairy coming in (people slumped in it) but once you're in, it feels safe and secure.

The hotel was perfect for our requirements. It was in a good location and was reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. There's a nice reception area with comfy seating if you need to wait for friends.

Arriving by car was difficult because we had two people with limited mobility and there was no obvious set-down point where we could off-load passengers and luggage. That would have been helpful. There are carparks within easy walking distance (under half a mile) and they are reasonably priced. Some instructions about how the showers worked would have been useful.

The hotel is in an extremely convenient place, being within easy walking distance from public transport, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. The room had ensuite facilities with a lovely big cast-iron bath tub, good plumbing and lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable with beautifully clean bedding. There was a hospitality-tray and the bedroom window was open. The main door of the room had a chain on it, for extra security. Staff were friendly and efficient. The cooked vegetarian breakfast was delicious, on both days of my stay !

Just an ideal hotel for us, for location, price and room size. Stayed here a few times now as we visit Manchester often for music gigs. Good cleanliness. Our room had a great view and the hotel gave us our wish to have the same room as our previous visit.

Cold water pressure was a very low trickle, so was difficult to have a shower and so had to pour a bath an hour beforehand to allow to cool down. WiFi was not working. Couldn't reach the HDMI point on the TV to connect my small screen Chromebook, as the TV was flush to the wall. Though none this really spoilt our stay.
