Wild Garlic Rooms

Good location for Cotswolds generally, and Nailsworth in particular. My ‘flat’ was the Sorrel, one of 3 on first floor, accessed by 20 outside steps - those with difficulty walking, beware! Amenities are good with fridge containing milk, orange juice, apple & orange etc - ingredients for breakfast, supplemented by cereals, teabags & coffee to perk.

I would have preferred fresh rolls for breakfast - I guess logistics don’t allow. My flat was directly below the fourth flat (up a further flight of stairs). With wooden floors you can hear a pin drop and learn to go to bed when those upstairs do.

Great location, spacious clean rooms. Multiple restaurants and pubs within walking distance, co-op, Tesco & bottle shop close by. Nice walking tracks also close by

Internet did not work for the whole week, bed was not that confortable, nice wine glasses would have been nice.

We loved our stay in Nailsworth und can highly recommend the wild garlic. The room we had (Sorrel) was cozy and very spacious and had everything you need to feel comfortable. It was perfect to relax at the end of a busy day with many activities in the cotswolds. Deep sleep! Bonus point: With the "Britannia Inn" there is a great pub directly on the other side of the street. There we enjoyed both evenings with a few drinks and superb food.

The only small minus point: The continental breakfast didn't include bread or toast. Instead there were cereals with fresh milk, fruits and muffins. If you can't do without bread: Go to the "Hobbs House Bakery" and have a breakfast with freshly brewed coffee in the 1st floor!

I loved the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the warmth, the quality of the food in the room and the view from the room. The room was done very aesthetically too

I chose the B&B because we were promised a "good' breakfast, but when we landed there we discovered that it was a self serviced apartment on the 2nd floor. So we had to carry our heavy bags. And the good breakfast was already in the room. From the description on booking.com, I thought it would be hot, freshly made English breakfast. That was a big disappointment

Pretty room, spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfy, and linen lovely. Breakfast trays were yummy- has everything you need and the muffins are delightful! Towels in bathroom are big and fluffy, really nice and toiletries are lovely. Hosts made sure we had everything we needed to arrive with self check in.

Pillows could be less flat, need better ones but that said, we still slept well. Most floorboard creaks so you feel conscious walking around in case disturbing others.

Great location in the centre of town. Everything you need is available eg hairdryer, iron etc. Wonderful to have replacements of coffee and water if you are staying more than one night. Can thoroughly recommend Wilder for their fantastic eight course surprise tasting menu - out of this world!

The walls/floor were quite thin so you can hear the other room watching tv and walking around their room.

Great location and ability to self check in and out was super easy. The team there were helpful in that we wanted a little more time before check out which was not a problem.

Could hear the upstairs neighbours walking as old wooden floors. To be expected on an older property but one to note if you are a light sleeper. Also, bathroom is not separate as in not fully inclosed so if you have an upset stomach others will hear if you know what I mean ;o

Not a complaint as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, rather just some observations with the intention to be helpful. I was in the twin room and I didn’t have a kettle but I had mugs, which seems counterintuitive? my parents were in the main room and the coffee was located in a draw that was separate to the side table it was on - I nearly dropped it when I pulled it out to get some coffee. maybe I sign to say it’s not secure?

This is a beautifully presented property with our room, Elderflower, looking out over the village pub and its gardens from its elevated first floor position. Again beautifully presented with white washed stone walls and dark blue soft furnishings providing a relaxing cotswold interior, a large contemporary bathroom completes a fantastic experience. Owners Matthew and Faye are lovely and it's worth dropping in to say hi at their stunning restaurant. Loved my few days here, best hotel in the best location.

Having to leave.

Lovely room with a nice view and centrally located for all amenities. Breakfast pack was very good and the fridge contained milk, yoghurt and water. Ironing board cover kept falling off, but was advised that a new one was on order.

The room could benefit from wooden blinds the same as next door. We were in NETTLE and our friends next door in ELDERFLOWER had wooden blinds instead of curtains.
