We have stayed at this hotel quite often and we really like the style. The food is good - excellent breakfast and dinner. Our room was comfortable.

Some of the staff were very welcoming and friendly, but there were a couple who were not and didn't acknowledge us. A little more training for some waiting staff might be helpful. It might have been nice to have received acknowledgement that we have stayed several times at the hotel - e.g. perhaps a discount on our food or maybe a bottle of wine placed in our room. This sort of thing goes a long way and makes a regular customer feels valued. Cleanliness of the room could have been better, especially the bathroom.

Booked hotel and function room for party, enabled family/friends to stay and not worry about time or driving. Rooms very nice with the art deco finishes, also the reception areas, wanted to swipe a lot of the pictures and ornaments. Staff excellent, which we knew from visiting the airfield/bar frequently for afternoon tea/drinks. Breakfast was very good.

In the 'non' quiet rooms, doors were banging on and off all night, which like a lot of establishments could be remedied by adjusting the door closers. Also, it applies to all the rooms (13) occupied by our party, the smoke detector flashes bright white ALL night,in a pitch black room it was very frustrating.

Everything from start to finish, blew me away. Came with family and friends, to watch my brother fly in the Spitfire experience. The hotel, room, food, drinks and the amazing staff, who looked after us, no words to describe but just Wowwww is all I can say, loved looking at all the memorabilia, and my brother was so looked after by everyone.Amanda was the best, explaining and briefing to everyone, she was so lovely. The pilot and all the team were also the best ever.Thank you for making my brothers wish come true. We have a couple more, that will definately be having this experience in the spitfire, thanks again to you all .

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.the hospitality was 110%.

The bar area was great and had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of food. The hotel was well-appointed and had a great vintage feel due to the art deco interior. The historical significance of the site was also very interesting being right next to the Sywell Museum which had lots of information about the aerodrome's history. Overall we all enjoyed our one-night stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and good value for money.

The only thing of real note was to make breakfast plates bigger. Difficult to eat food once all items were on the plate - even if you didn't overload it. Wifi was a little slow in rooms at times.

We decided to have a sandwich when we first arrived. We got a Tuna and cheese melt and a Bacon, Brie and Cranberry sauce Ciabatta with fries and a lovely mixed salad. It was wonderful and tasty and good value for money. Our room like the rest of the hotel was amazing. The room was a really good size, clean and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a really good size. The staff in particular the lady on reception were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has some amazing features from the stairways which are truly beautiful right down to the doorknob and plate on the bathroom door. We both had a wonderful full cooked breakfast the following morning, there were also cereals, croissants, fruit and fruit juices available too. I planned this trip as a treat for my husband who loves all things Art Deco, he was delighted with everything and will definitely stay at the Aviator again.

We booked a Superior Double room which put us on the top floor which meant quite a few stairs. My fault as I didn’t read which floor the room was on at the time of booking. It was still well worth the trip, and we would still book that room again.

Wonderful setting right next to the light aircraft runway and hangers, in very well kept grounds. Lovely places to sit outside and watch the small planes taking off and landing. The bar area was fantastic with fabulous decor and furniture throughout, there some real though gone into it, it's a very pleasant place to sit and relax. The food was fantastic at both evening time and breakfast, complimented by excellent staff throughout the hotel. The room was fairly basic but clean and equipped well enough, and nice and quiet. I'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

The TV was very small for the size of the room.

The overall ambience. Wonderful Art Deco world. We sat watching a Spitfire and a P51 Mustang taking people up for special flights, literally just meters away from where we were sat enjoying drinks The buildings have been so authentically restored that it is literally like stepping back into this era. Changed from Airforce focus to Hospitality Hotel for all to appreciate and enjoy. A very popular place to celebrate special family occasions. The restaurant had several 10+ parties enjoying meals. I shall look forward to returning again.

I wanted to stay longer!

the Art Deco architecture, inside and out. Such an interesting place to be! The design elements were of such beautiful quality, with room numbers, patterned carpets, fabulous mirrors, beautiful built in bed heads, and the exterior architecture being just jaw droppingly gorgeous, and of such amazing craftsmanship and quality. Way more interesting than a bog standard chain hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable! With crisp white linen, and the place was so quiet, even though they were busy. We slept like a dream! The staff were both professional and polite, intercepting a keycard problem before we even needed to find them! everything was dealt with with ease and nothing was a problem. Everything was beautifully clean, and the breakfast, which was traditional and had continental options, was spot on. The food ingredients seemed of good quality. I would very happily recommend, based on our stay, and would love to spend more time here again. Just gorgeous. Thank you!

I felt some of the pictures looked a little shabby, and could maybe do with a refresh/reframe, to justify everything else that felt very substantial and of a good quality. Less obvious Art Deco print pieces, to accompany the Bauhaus themed mirrors etc would have been lovelier, in some places maybe..? I did like the travel posters though :) My shower head was loud and sort of leaked through the sides of the shower head heavily… which wasn’t awful, but also really needed a good fix. I was worried it would wake neighbours as it was incredibly loud hitting the bath!

Very comfortable room with plenty of towels in the bathroom. Good range of food and drink in the restaurant. Plenty of parking.Room was clean .Good sized room with two chairs and a table which was very useful .

Breakfast on the second day of our visit was very disappointing. There was hardly anything on the buffet and even coffee wasn't available . When we asked for coffee we were told that we could have an instant coffee but no fresh coffee was available. We had to take napkins and glasses from another table as the table wasn't laid properly. The scrambled egg we ordered took almost half an hour . The yoiung girl serving was obviously out of her depth and needed more supervision and training.

Staff - Friendly, helpful and responsive. Room - Clean and tidy Bathroom - Clean & tidy Breakfast - Very good...Full English or Vegetarian option + Continental Car Parking - Good Overall very good - love the Art Deco theme running through the buildings and a must for aircraft spotters/fanatics with the museum next door.

Not much I didn't like but small points/observations below:- Need to add muesli to the breakfast cereals selection. Double socket in room 124 doesn't work properly...one socket doesn't function which is awkward if your using your lap-top/device and want to make a cup of tea. 2-pin shaver socket in room 124 didn't seem to allow my 2-pin toothbrush charger to plug in.
