The R Inn Hotel

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very good especially the corner bath with tall taps. The bar[/lounge was also very nice, super sized tables suitable for parties and classy looking bar. All the hotel was very clean. And the staff very nice. Large tv's on the wall's of the bedroom and bar areas. Hotel in a good location for pub across the road. And lovely Indian restaurant in walking distance which we recommend.

The reception wasn't open 24hrs meaning the front door wasn't open which meant to gain entry or exit you had steps in the hotel which of course is unsuitable for the disabled. And the website for the hotel states they serve e Tapas, but they don't which of course is misleading. Also a breakfast would have been nice.

Beautiful room but it's not quiet finished being updated which is a pity as the room was lovely and big. Lovely village with a great pub. Good kebab place around the corner

The room upgrade wasnt complete. Grouting area the bathroom wasnt finished, the window surround wasnt completed and the latch was broken. The bar/restaurant is part of the function room, so can now understand why it can be closed if there is a function. Nobody at reception after 10, doors are locked and you've to use your key to gain entry. We were woken at 2am by someone bashing our window trying to wake people so they could be left in (we were on the ground floor)

Excellent staff, very polite nothing was too much trouble & even when I needed help with my phone trying to get photos updated.

Nothing excellent value for money. Noisy boy racers outside going along the road were a pain but are not the staff's concern, & only the police can do something about it. Overall would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.

Could not fault the location of the hotel, size of the room, the facilities or the bathroom - which was a lot bigger than expected! Great for what we needed. We would happily stay again.

Our room (no.25) had the kitchen extractor fan outside on the wall. It was incredibly loud and vibrated through the floor. I spoke with the lady at reception who said it would be off by 9.30pm, so would not be suitable if you needed to nap/sleep during the day. Thankfully we were out all evening. Also a shame that breakfast isn't available from the restaurant & bar (not the fault of the hotel but seems nowhere is open on a Sunday in Desborough for brekkie 😔).

Stayed here a few times now as it's very convenient for family visits. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, showers are powerful with plenty of hot water. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Check-in and check-out are easy. Car parking on site. The bar/restaurant serves lovely food. What's not to like?

No complaints, only a niggle about the TV not working in our room, but it was too late to mention it when we realised as the check-in is only open until 9pm and we didn't think it warranted an out-of-hours phone call.

Room was a good size and clean with plenty of tea coffee sachets supplied. Lovely bathroom with shower and bath ( I prefer shower and my partner prefers the bath) was a good size.

Bed was small for the suite option I booked and mattress was very soft.. and uncomfortable. I still give a good rating as this is the only negative point and may down to personal preference.

Room and bathroom were outstanding. Only suggestion I would make would me to put at least one chair in the room. I prefer to wake early and sit in a chair with a coffee for a short while. Likewise at night.

Only one wall bedside light and only a switch at one side of the bed. Unfortunately, the chef was on leave and the only restaurant in the town was an Indian one. The bar was open but was very dingy. Fortunately, it was pleasant to sit outside with a takeaway meal

Good value for money. Great location. Nice friendly staffs. Bar and restaurant.

The shower is non adjustable and too high. The water hit straight on the face and ears. The shower handle is loose and keeps coming off the joining ( top bit) obviously it's a cheap quality. I'm sure the management could have fix it but probably didn't bother doing it. That could have made my experience 10/10. The sink wasn't cleaned well can see dirts and moulds around the over flow holes (yaks). Again small things but could have made a lot of difference. Can hear everything from next room... showering and phone ringing talking. Imagine a loud sex 😄 🤣. But otherwise it was quite a night. All good for one night stay at the rate. I will stay again for the price.

The room was very good, was clean, very comfortable and had everything needed for a good break. Shower was especially good. Absence of dining was no problem since there was a decent coffee house within 1min for breakfast plus plenty of eating options within a very short walk. The bar opened at 5pm but there is a pub almost opposite if needed!

The hotel ideally placed for what we wanted, staff very helpful and good information supplied. Despite comments below would stay again

The toilet was small, the walls were thin especially as the occupies next door talked to one in morning The window needs changing as you could hear the pub discharge or something going on in the street
