The staff members were polite and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were perfect for a good night's sleep. Highly recommend for a restful stay.

Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good, tasty, etc. Room comfortable. Nice biscuits.

I was able to park a few steps from the front door, Good job, because, I would never have been able to get my scooter round the corners to my room, I appreciated having a ground floor room, that was a few steps from reception and a short walk from dining room, Those of us using mobility scooters need more turning room than people realise. It would be much easier, if there were fewer turns. To be genuinely accessible, hotel needs to rethink ground floor layout. Wider corridors where possible, fewer turns to reach accessible rooms and bigger turning spaces, where turns are necessary and probably wider doorways. Fortunately, I can walk short distances.

I received a very warm welcome at reception. The room and en suite bathroom were clean and cosy, and there was tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was buffet-style cooked and continental and was exceptional. I was worried that it might be a little noisy, being on a main road, but I couldn't hear any traffic (my room was at the side of the property). I was only there for one night but I would definitely return. Very good value.

The stairs leading up to my room looked like they could do with a good vacuum, but I arrived late afternoon, so I expect there had been a lot of traffic on them during the day. The lift was out of order, but I didn't need it.

This was my second time staying at the Remont. It is one of my favourite small hotels. Service is pleasantly attentive and very professional. Easy public bus travel to central Oxford. Ample free parking. All areas very clean. I especially enjoyed breakfast and was very impressed by the attention to detail by staff. Served in a lovely, light room.

I liked everything and have advised my granddaughter to recommend it to her friends if any of their family are looking for a very pleasant, reasonably priced (for Oxford) hotel. Prospective guests should be aware that this is a boutique hotel, without a bar and without meal options, as far as I am aware, other than breakfast.

I’ve stayed with you a number of times in the past few years. I find it convenient, rooms, excellently appointed. Breakfast fabulous as I am vegetarian and feel that there are choices for me. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful and go above and beyond.

there’s nothing I didn’t like about the property, but I noticed this visit too short stays within a few weeks. A little bit of dust on the telephone and tops of the outlets that maybe should have a little bit of attention to occasionally. As I have to use the plugs. It was some thing I noticed and I’m how to move the phone to make a room for a few items and noticed it had a coating of dust, and when I wiped my finger through it, it was definitely not given attention for a while. This certainly is not a large issue, nor one that I would put on a public social page as the issue.

Spotless. Outstanding breakfast. The staff were great. I am a fussy eater but the breakfast buffet was excellent. Cooked just right. Mushrooms, bacon, sausage, fried and scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurts to name a few items. One of the best we have ever had. A twenty minute walk into the centre of Oxford - needed after the breakfast, but a good bus service and five minutes from Summertown. The parking was a real bonus.

No towel rail in bathroom which meant we had to renew damp towels after one night, something we would not normally do. The kettle would not plug in where the tea tray was which meant we had to move it to a bedside table to use. The room was very hot even when radiators turned down/off. These things are easily fixable. The room was noisy as 'under the stairs', would not have a ground floor if we stay again. The lift was out of order too. Book again? Yes, even with these 'problems'.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked! Position for getting into Oxford centre was excellent. Bed comfortable

The room particularly the bathroom was a little tired. Shower area needed regrouting and had a bit of black mould. The sink itself was fine but the surround was broken and coating had come off. Nothing major but did prevent a higher rating. Also my room was at the front and was quite noisy with the main road. Not the hotels fault but maybe triple glazing or renewing the double glazing may help. Chair very stained ( probably on staining but didn't really want to sit on it.

A cosy hotel in Sommertown area of Oxford, not far from the local centre with a couple of pubs and restaurants. Located on the main bus route, which was very convenient for me. The hotel was comfortable, though really quite warm. The bed was great, which was really appreciated. Breakfast a bit limited to box standards, but well prepared, freshly cooked and perfectly understandable for a small, privately run hotel.

The bedroom was very warm, and combined with a winter duvet, a bit too warm. Absence of bedside lamp or power socket was a bit of a pain and the light in both the bathroom and the room was not very good. Absence of mirror lights in the bathroom was making the morning routine a bit of a guesswork with a razor!

Good location, easy to find with plenty of parking. The bus stops to/from Oxford were both only a minute or so walk. The room was comfortable and clean with fluffy towels. The room had plenty of plug sockets. Breakfast was nice, and the garden area was pleasant to sit after a day out. There's no bar or restaurant, but you can have food delivered if you need it and you can bring your own drinks, although there's no fridge.

The staff were lovely, but weren't sure whether the hotel was in the new zero emissions zone, so a bit of research was needed. The room had thin walls and the road outside was noisy so I was unable to have windows open, but there was a fan that I made good use of. I'd stay here again, but I would suggest that it's a good 3* rather than a 4* hotel.

Front of house was excellent, friendly, flexible and met my needs and requests. The housekeeping team do a great job as well. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've stayed in for a while, lovely bedding and towels. I was in room 16 facing the back garden lovely and quiet. It's about a 10 minute taxi to central Oxford, or there's a nearby bus which goes regularly, but allow 30-40 minutes if you take a bus.

I felt the hotel has a mixed identity. The bed/bed linen and colourful feature walls seem at odds with the remaining furnishing which, while functional, are reminiscent of student digs. There are 2 throne like chairs in reception which are cute, but again at odds with the more modern functional elements. It doesn't affect the stay but gives an impression of the hotel renovation being incomplete. Hope it's useful feedback. I would stay again :)
