The staff were exceptionally friendly, providing a worm greeting upon arrival. The room was clean and exactly as expected. Finally, the breakfast was cooked to order meaning it was hot and fresh, and the staff catered to individual requests.

The hotel is a little care-worn in places - it's not dirty at all, just some of the decor could do with a refresh. Also, some of the halls not in use for guests, were stacked with boxes and items that probably were either waiting to be pout into storage, or were waiting to be disposed of. It didn't bother me, but I could see some people complaining about things like this.

The location was perfect and was an ideal spot for a young couple that have not travelled together before. It's the second week we have ever explored through travelling. It was easy to find and found it a surprise how peaceful and quiet the property was considering it was located in the town centre. The staff members were very cheerful, open, confident and considerably welcoming. They were very helpful and chatted and advised us to the best things. Was very lovely to be able to have a laugh and a joke with the hosts. Xxxx

The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was very clean, the shower was amazing and breakfast was huge and tasty.

I wasn't keen on the room setup, the bed was set lengthways against the wall so my partner had to climb over me in the night to use the toilet and kept waking me up. We were only supplied with one large and one hand towel even though it was stated 2 adults were booked for the stay. The only other thing I found strange was breakfast was served between 8.30-9am, I just feel that the staff were stretched thin to rush and get everyone fed in that half hour.

Owners were warm friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and bed so comfortable, slept really well. Berry Hotel situated in right location, near High Street, Amentites, Pier, sea front. Able to park car which is a plus for me as like my car to be safe when left and dont nees to drive again till departure. Would stay again. Staff were sweet and the room was very good for the price. Really pleased with my stay. If you are looking for affordable prices with reasonable expectations for the price, I'd recommend this hotel. Free parking, nice cooked breakfast, they made effort to make the bedroom look presentable like folding toilet paper and presenting the bed linen and towels nicely. I like the small touches to a stay.

anything we requested. ie extra towels , milk was given to us, by the proprietors son, who we thought was a very helpful.

the shower holder was broken, also the toothbrush plastic cup needed replacing,the breakfast could of been warmer,both mornings my eggs were hard and broken . apart from that we would certainly stay again 👍😀

Nice little hotel in a good location. Very good value for money, comfy bed, hot shower, lovely breakfast, parking & friendly, helpful hosts.

The only thing I didn't like was the ancient arm chair in the bedroom, otherwise very well equipped. Could maybe provide biscuits to go with hospitality tray.

We asked to leave our bags on arrival because our train came in at 10.35 am and they said yes and we also collected our keys and booked in which was good had we wanted to make the most of our days in paigton . Also when we checked out we was allowed to leave our bags until our train arrived has we had six hours until our train.

All was good and no complaints .

Everything great! Excellent host. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice, and great attention to detail in every aspect. Very clean and comfortable room. Extremely covid aware and safe, and handed very unobtrusively. Fantastic location, literally 5 minutes from the seafront, shops pubs etc. But surprisingly quiet and peaceful to sit outside of an evening. Ample free parking. Very accommodating host. I would definitely recommend. Seagulls very noisy but personally I didn't find this a problem.

Ideal location, 2 minutes from the beach, pubs and shops. Very clean,great food and the hosts are lovely Very friendly and very helpful Private parking. Highly recommended !!!!!
