Maureen is a chatty nice lady that welcomes you. Don't be afraid to ask for anything you may need. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. There is a fan and a fridge that many places don't have. Coffee facilities also. Very nice modern large shower was great. 4 toilet rolls instead of the normal 2 you get. Breakfast is served very quickly with Mo's family helping out. Help yourself to toast and cereal etc . The breakfast is a fry up with vegetarian sausages if required. There is a seating area to the front and a multistorey carpark just at end of road. Had a nice time staying here in this friendly family run guest house. One of better places to stay in Paignton just metre's from the front. Dogs are welcome.

Only thing I can say that needs looking at is my bed sloped to one side probably floor boards. Needs raising with little extra wood blocks. Everything else was wonderful 😊

The owner is super friendly, and it is obvious that a lot of hard work happens behind the scenes. The room was very clean with generous provision of tea, coffee and milk. The breakfast hours may appear limited but that is so they can deliver a super efficient service. The breakfast was lovely. I was unwell on one day and unable to eat it sadly.

The four small dogs can be very noisy when guests come and go. Guests really should know that when deciding to book. There is a non smoking policy which is great but the smell of cigarettes smoked outside got into my front facing room and there was evidence of smoking happening previously in the room. Having said that it was still extremely good value for money and I would return if I went to Paignton again.

Breakfast was excellent so much choice to choose from English fry to cereals, fruit and cooked freshly was superb, having a fridge and cool fan in the bedroom for this time of the year in July was excellent!!! Friendly family run hotel, Molly was nice and cute dogs. Location is like my second home, where my Grandparents lived in Paignton so I've been visiting Paignton since I was a child of eight years old. I love the hotel right near the beach, Vue Cinema and town. It has everything here! I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Unfortunately for me it was the bed was to soft for my back and squeaky noises, needs a new mattress for extra support I felt like a sunken ship! Sorry to say, which was uncomfortable. Pain in my back and hips the next morning. But I made the best of my Birthday hols sleeplessness, but everything else was pretty good. Thank you.

Property was clean, fresh and modern. Owners and family all lovely and friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay, love that there is resident dogs which also like to welcome you I will be bringing my pooch along next time. Don’t let this put you off if not a dog lover or scared as only small and not roaming free! The bed is one of the most comfiest I’ve ever stayed in nice big comfy pillows and thick duvet. Breakfast is lovely served nice and hot and good selection on the breakfast bar of cereals and fruits. Walking distance to the beach and shops just all round good place to stay

Excellent value for money. Spacious single room with large shower tray. Comfortable bed and lounge chair included. Large high quality bath towel included. Generous amounts of tea, coffee and milk for refreshments, in the room itself. Breakfast was from 09.00 and of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. I asked for a vegetarian breakfast which was provided. The stay was so positive that I have already booked a return visit in early March 2023.

Lots of odd hangers in the wardrobe. But this trifling in comparison to the excellent qualities outlined in likes section

Amazing welcome and mo went the extra mile and placed birthday balloons 🎈 in the room for my dad's 60th birthday 🎂 breakfast was amazing room was comfortable clean and overall was an amazing weekend. Will 100% be back. Thank you mo for going the extra mile and making us feel so welcome love Julie and colin

Lovely host, perfect location, delicious breakfast and no extra charge for dogs. Absolute bargain. We stayed over 4 nights and really enjoyed the area! Roslyn Guest House is situated near Paignton Pier and has lots of amenities (shops, restaurants, pubs, casinos etc) within walking distance from the property. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious ! Full English breakfast, cereal, fruit and yoghurts. Nice en-suite bathroom with a large shower cubicle. Very dog friendly place! ❤️

What I missed the most was daily housekeeping… 😞 after 4 nights stay I had to ask for a black bin bag as the small bin was overflowing… The walls… washable paint would be good solution for all the smudges.

The staff couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Really nice bathroom. The location was perfect. Within 30 seconds you're on the beach. Train station right around the corner, so if fancy going a bit further afield you can. The guesthouse is extremely dog friendly. They have their own dogs, who are all lovely. I'd gladly recommend this place to anyone staying with a dog.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I had a single bed, but I only paid for a single room. Everything was really lovely.

This was our second stay at the Roslyn and we had a wonderful time, Mo is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the breakfast is very nice, the location is perfect with a few mins walk to the beach or the town. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and stay here.

Nothing to dislike.

Mo and family gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, making us feel immediately at home. Our room was pretty and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and even a mini fridge. Good bedside lights, great for reading in bed and even a small, comfortable settee. Plenty of hanging space for clothes and many drawers. Location was excellent, just a few steps to the seafront in one direction and the same the other way to the car park. English breakfast was superb, piping hot with lots of choice and lots of cereals, fresh fruit or yoghurt too. We were sorry we weren't staying longer!
