Owner friendly & welcoming. Clean. Good sized room. Fan in the room which was great! Breakfast filled you up for the day, and lot of choice! If you have cereal, you will get a massive bowl, not a kiddies variety box like a lot a places! Bear that in mind if you order toast & a full English! 😄 Decent shower.

The B&B was really good for the money, clean, good breakfast, lovely lady, literally only took off points because it sounded like you were sharing a room with your neighbour! If you're a jumpy sleeper like me, it may not be the place for you. Don't let this put you off though as the neighbour was particularly loud (random bangs in the night, shouting on the phone etc) so not the fault of the B&B!! I would definitely stay again, but would be praying for a more considerate neighbour!

Very impressed, room newly refurbished, beds comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, bathroom compact and clean, plenty of choice tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. Breakfast amazing choice, nicely cooked, coffee and the fresh berry fruit salad excellent. Lovely hosts who were quick to offer more toast and top ups. We left a few pounds heavier! Would certainly book again.

Gulls are noisy all over Paignton so take some good ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. But to be expected on the coast.

For what it costs, I couldn't complain, excellent breakfast, nothing too much trouble, like asking for more milk or toast etc etc, for breakfast, Host very friendly and accommodating . Rooms clean and tidy tea and coffee milk unlimited supply in the room.

Unfortunately nothing to do with the accomodation, but the parking is a bit of a nightmare. Restricted parking, park outside from 5pm - 9am next morning, then no return within the hour, and the traffic wardens are as regular as clockwork, ready to pounce.

We really enjoyed staying at the jacaranda bed and breakfast to start with it's in a great location right in the centre of town close to bars and restaurants 😀 and the sea front is at the end of the street 👌 the staff are really friendly and the breakfast is first class 👍 we will definitely be staying here again 😀

Having to leave 😪 and come home can't wait to get back there in the very near future ☺

Jo is an excellent hostess and most helpful, particularly with issue surrounding the booking protocols. Superb, quiet location

I didn't actually mind having my bathroom down the hall, but this should have been made more clear. All the other rooms were en suite. My room was described as having 'A private bathroom'..... which it did, but not integral nor adjacent. A small lounge area would have been useful rather than having to catch up in one's room. But for the money, it was OK

This was a probably my best stay away from home in more than two years. Although I arrived over an hour after my expected check-in time (my bus was late and then I got a bit lost in the new town), the landlady patiently waited for me and kindly showed me around despite it was rather late. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and I felt cosiness of home as soon as I crossed the doorstep.

The room was not ensuite (which was clearly stated in its description beforehand), but a private, lockable shower-room was ready for me just next door, so there was no disappointment at all.

We had a Lovely stay at the Jacaranda B&B, great location as very close to shops and the Beach. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Would definitely recommend for couples or families who want short break or weekend away. Thank you for a great stay and will definitely stay again!

The bed was a little hard for us but that is just personal preference, maybe an option of a mattress topper?

The property is in a great location just minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Free street parking from October 1st. I had a single room, quite big with my own toilet and shower down the hallway. TV, kettle, tea/coffee, Wi-Fi. Breakfast was huge, kept me going all day. All in all excellent value for money.

The location's great, in a quiet road, a short walk to the beach, 5 mins, and the same for the main street, with touristy shops cafes and take aways. Just beyond are the bus and train stations. The room was great, albeit upgraded to a double. The decor's relaxing and pleasant. Smashing to have fluffy coloured towels. Real fresh fruit salad to start breakfast, lashings of tea or coffee, and hot cooked breakfast with vegetarian choices. Really friendly and helpful hosts, lots of local information. Very restful and enjoyable.

Very convenient for the town centre, the beach, the bus station and the harbour.

I ended up parking on Lower Polsham Road for the whole of my stay, so no costs involved. The nearby multi-storey carpark seemed to have a 17 hour maximum stay which under the circumstances I would have found awkward.
