Breakfast was fantastic and had clearly labeled dietary. Room was lovely and clean.
Someone came in our room even with do not disturb sign which was really disappointing...it was not clean/bed made but some belonging had been moved.

As many people have mentioned, the hotel is looking a bit tired around the edges. But saying that we had a brilliant 3 night stay and enjoyed the spa facilities many times. We ate in the hotel for dinner on 2 evenings and the food was really good. We had a room with a balcony facing the harbour, which was worth the extra. We would return if we had the chance again. One word of caution on using Uber taxis, they don't seem to like coming out to Sandbanks to either collect or return, so don't rely on them too much.
A bit tired, but I am sure this hotel has seen many, many thousands of guests, so I guess it shows it has been loved and well used. Don't let this put you off at all.

It was clean room, facilities to make drink, biscuits and bottle water provided in room. Breakfast excellent you could have Hot, cold buffet, Cereals, Fruit etc. Self service after shown to table. Location is near to Ferry to Stutland Island but would need to take bus or taxi to Quay Harbour to get ferry to Brownsea Island if want to go into town. Bus within easy walking distance .
Food request shut at 8.30 thought bit early.

The location was unbeatable. The rooms were big, clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. The pool and the spa facilities were all clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great time playing in the indoor pool with the kids and the access out to the beach was very handy. Over all we had a great stay.
I would say that the one thing that let the hotel down was our dinner on the Friday night. The menu options were minimal and the fish and chips option was quite greasy. Some of the serving staff were a little less friendly too.

The location is stunning, we booked sea view, with balcony which is the best rooms to have at this location. Room & bed both large & comfortable. Easy access to Swanage, Bournemouth & Poole. The food at the hotel is excellent if a little limited
Hotel has now passed its glory days in terms of being a flag ship hotel, but the room rates are a little high. Bar prices are somewhat high which was some what disappointing and external paintwork in poor condition, the bathrooms although perfectly adequate are a little antiquated which we believe could be because the hotel maybe being sold in the near future.

Mr room was lovely - well appointed - tea, coffee etc. Very clean and comfortable bed and bedding part from the pillows. I could not adjust the air conditioning although this was done when I asked for help, a severe drought from under the hand basin and and the control on the heated towel rail had been removed. The safe was faulty so I mentioned it when I checked out.
Breakfast was extremely poor - tepid food sitting under heated lights for far too long, temperamental coffee machines which led to huge queues and basically unimpressive.

It was our Anniversary and they left us a card, chocolates and made swans out of our towels with petals on the bed, which was lovely😍 Lovely view from the breakfast table. Clean everywhere. We would've liked to use all the facilities (pool/spa) unfortunately we had to leave early due to a family circumstance. We will definitely use next time we come.
Didn't like that we we by the building that had all the extracter fans going (noisey). The building cut off most our view of the sea. There was a balcony but again view was spoilt by the building with fans. The bathroom was a bit tired looking in some areas. All doors to rooms could do with changing. Apart from that, lovely to stay in and will stay again.

Location, staff and food. Easy parking for residents
Traffic to get to the location, 6 weeks ago I booked a table for dinner for 4 of us. They asked us to call them re any allergies. I did and they said they knew nothing about the booking ???? Despite them contacting me.i ask for a window table. They claimed on arrival to know nothing about the booking, they allocated a poorly located window seat.when I phoned them about the allergy I asked if we could have flowers for the room, special occasion, they could not deal and tried to transfer me to another department . The call went nowhere so I gave up.

Location perfect as we needed to use the ferry more than once. Our standard room was perfect with nice view over the sea and beach, comfortable bed with very clean linen etc and bottles of water provided. This is less often the case these days! Bathroom well equipped and very good easy to use digital shower . Welcoming staff on reception. Very adequate breakfast too with hard working, helpful staff.
I used to visit The Haven regularly when it was used for conferences and it was always top notch. Sad to see main areas looking rather faded in grandeur, it looked rather bland and beige. Breakfast area was enormous with brown tables with no tablecloths. 2 coffee machines just about adequate but difficult when one ran out of coffee and I had to seek help in reactivating it. Another machine in the lower area by the front would reduce queuing and traffic through the main breakfast area.

Brilliant location, wonderful heated outdoor pool. Inside pool out of action during our visit. Good gym facilities. Room was smallish but functioned perfectly well. Very good breakfast. Hotel is a little 'plain' and could do with a little touch here and there of something pretty, if that makes sense.
Not many people stay to the evening meal which reduces the atmosphere. You are offered three menus, a special, a lite bite one and and on a Sunday - a Sunday menu. So you could be eating a wrap at £12 say next to somebody ordering lobster at £78. Wine is reasonable at £26 but then jumps up - who would order expensive bottles whilst the table next to you is eating snacks I don't know. The sister hotel has a much better menu in my opinion. On the first evening the special menu was not appealing to me. On the second evening (Sunday) the Sunday lunch type meal was lovely. I just think they need to think about this - as it is a confused offering.
