The Crossroads Inn0

This accommodation was superb. The room was immaculate and spotlessly clean. Free parking was available just outside my room, safe and secure and off-road. Barry the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was reasonable, and it got better each day as Barry noticed what I was and was not eating, and modified my breakfast accordingly. The fresh fruit was very much appreciated. A refrigerator in the room was also very much appreciated, and the en-suite bathroom was very good. A small but good supermarket was only a few minutes walk around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.

A little road noise penetrated the room, but this was minimal with the double glazed window, and never loud enough to disturb a good night's sleep.

We were met in the carpark by the owner who was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful room which has just been refurbished. Lovely comfortable bed. There is a fridge in the room with fresh milk, also tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Really nice powerful hot shower. The breakfast is cereal, yogurt and fruit which is in the room. The owner is currently renovating the bar so that wasnt open when we visited. Great value for money.

There was a security light outside our bedroom which shone in even with the blinds closed so the room was never properly dark.

Room was very comfortable and modern plenty of amenities very spacious and could tell the room was recently refurbished Owner was a very friendly guy and was very accommodating even to a point he went above and beyond by offering us a lift in to Durham rather than getting the bus

Only thing I would say is maybe make a note on the site about the bar being closed until November But we had nothing major that we didn't like this was a very pleasant stay and we will be back in November

Barry is an amazing host, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It has been recently renovated and everything is new and stylishly decorated to a high standard. The room contained a fridge and snacks were provided. I would highly recommend the Crossroads as a central point for exploring the wonderful North East areas; Durham, Beamish, Newcastle and all the surrounding areas. Thank you Barry for a great stay!

I stayed in the cross roads inn for a week whilst my partner was in the local hospital. The staff were extremely friendly, rooms clean, recently modernised, great location, breakfast was continental and had more than enough choice. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and the staff, would definitely stay again and at the price it’s amazing

The property was clean, modern and all the facilities needed for an overnight stay. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we had what we needed. Excellent and would recommend to others.

Very clean and tidy, modern and smart. Good size tv and host was lovely and friendly. Bed large and comfy! Will deffo use again!

Air con would of been the icing on the cake but it wasn’t all too bad considering the heat outside! A fan was provided though which worked well,

Everything was great, a very nice hotel, comfortable, cozy, and very clean rooms. the bed smells good, everything is very clean and tidy. We needed to use the steam room. We notified the hotel about this and they provided us with an ironing board and a new steam iron.!☺️

The Crossroads Inn has been refurbished recently and is very pleasant. A simple but excellent breakfast is provided in the room. Fresh milk in the fridge was a real bonus.
