The good things others have said about this place were also true for our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and our room had all the comforts and convenience we wanted. We slept soundly in the big comfortable bed. The room was spacious enough for me to do my morning Zoom Pilates session and Tom kindly fitted our breakfast time around that! The unusualness of the house, with all its quirky features and contents, (plus an excellent meal we had at Thann Thai restaurant in nearby Weybridge) made this more like an interesting little holiday than just a bed for the night.

We only stayed one night - wish it were more.

The house is charming and authentic as we suspected from the photos and description. It is a family home and as such you are part of a living and organic home. Warm welcome from friendly and interested in us owners and occupiers. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The weather was warm and inside the house it was a pleasant temperature. Breakfast was good quality and well presented with pleasing dining acoutrements in keeping with style and period of property. Excellent location for us as we were visiting elderly relative in Egham. Altogether a delightful discovery and one we hope to return to in future.

Nothing as the house and garden are as seen.

Fran and Tom are very lovely hosts. They get you everything you need for a cosy stay and delicious breaktfast (including the right music after the Tom-Jones-Concert the night before - thank you Tom!) . And the Manor is full of history!

Not really something to complain but I was misled by the pictures of the Manor - at booking.com it looks more like a hotel with a salon and a park. Those pictures are a couple of years old. The house and garden look now like what it is - a home to a lovely family with to little children! :)

Beautiful location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and lots of local knowledge. The building was filled with quirky collectibles and if you look close enough little historical tidbits. Freshly cooked fry up was delicious and exactly what we needed before a long flight ❤️ The bed was so comfortable & the towels were so soft. I highly recommend a stay here. In the evening we ate at the Thames Court, (as recommended by the hosts) what a restaurant right on the river - food was amazing. Perfect for a summer evening!

Perfect location, away from crowded areas. Peaceful neighbourhood. We walked to a local pub recommended by our hosts and enjoyed live music evening. Our bedroom was huge, full of character and antique furniture. Quality of the renovation. Bathroom was spotless and fully equipped. We loved our stay and will be back, possibly for a longer stay. Thanks a lot for sharing your home. I am sure it will be a stunning property once fully renovated. Good luck with the restoration work.

Too long wait for the breakfast, although we agreed on the time the previous day. Rather cool dining room...but fully understandable as the several centuries manor house is currently under renovation.

Fran and Tom were very welcoming, the house is beautiful, with lots of history attached, as well as a huge garden to gaze at, while sitting on the room's window seat. The breakfast was perfect, all laid out posh, like my nan used to do and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.

The house was a bit cluttered with children's toys and there are cobwebs in some corners but the couple have young children and the house is so large, it must be hard to keep on top of the cleaning.

Fran and Tom were so lovely, we felt very welcome in their home. Nothing was too much trouble. The house has so many interesting items dotted around. Breakfast was wonderful, lots to eat, very tasty The room was great, I sat on the window seat knitting in the evening watching foxes play at the bottom of the garden, it was very peaceful. The bed was lovely and comfortable. Toiletries were a nice touch in the bathroom.

The best breakfast in any stay for a very long time. Wonderful owners. The house is incredible, not in scale but in age and preservation. Very 'Lived In' not a museum. Although the perfectly selected furniture and decorative pieces feel as though they might have come from one in the best sense. You also know that by staying here you are obviously supporting a real on-going project to preserve and develop an amazing historic building and a worthwhile business venture that clearly deserves to be a great success. Our stay was a few weeks ago so writing the review now is great because I am genuinely looking back and thinking 'what a great stay, I must go back soon' and that says a lot when you feel like that looking back in the rear view mirror as it were.

Not sure how to address this issue, it's an old house. There is quite a lot of noise transferred via the creaking floorboards when other guests move through their rooms or common areas. An observation only, outweighed by everything else I've written.

I was to hot for me to think about breakfast, but I was offered a full spread. Tom was excellent and we had a good old natter on the history of the building. This type of venue / room is always better to me than a fancy modern Hotel / B&B. The bedroom was perfect in my view, with excellent un-suit facilities.

Door bell could have be louder. :) Due to the very hot weather, there was a fire, which knocked out all the power in the village, which was nothing to do with the Manor house, but I was able to find a couple of pubs open still. Otherwise there was nothing I did not like, everything was as expected and detailed.

Tom and his wife are amazing welcoming friendly hosts and chefs!!- best breakfast I have had in any hotel/B&B. Ever. Quiet location, zero outside noise, also some nice local pubs for evening meals The property itself has so much charm, character and history, yet still provides a brand new bathroom with multi head showers and bath, there’s even an optional fan in the bedroom to cool you during higher temperatures Fresh milk upon arrival for your bedroom teas/coffees…. and did I mention the amazing breakfast :-) Plenty of free parking on site Amazing value for money, vs other B&Bs and even Premier Inns Best night’s sleep all week, in a week of staying in various hotels
