Friendly people, good service, lovely breakfast, good location. Would definitely stay again

From the friendly welcome when we first arrived to the goodbye on the day we left, there was nothing to fault. Breakfast was excellent and also the evening meal that we ate was great. Room 2 was the ideal room for our nearly 90 year old mother. Cleanliness was exceptional, located just a short walk from the town centre this is truly a gem of a hotel. We shall certainly book again next time we are back in the resort.

Guest room and breakfast/dinner and the bar and contactless payment. I particularly appreciated being able to pay for the stay upfront and meals etc individually so I didn't have to keep track of it all! This is our favourite hotel to stay in Skegness so we hope to stay again. Everyone was friendly, everywhere was clean and welcoming.

Having to lock up the guest areas earlier at night although this was understandable, the TV in the room wasn't the easiest to work, although it did have a sleep timer! I would have appreciated tissues and hand sanitizer in the rooms though we brought our own (and sanitiser was available by the front door).

The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was very well organised too. I thought the price represented excellent value for money. We would definitely return to the Ivydene and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

The only thing that could maybe have been slightly better was the shower, but that wasn't really a big issue.

The minute we stepped into the Ivydene,we was made to feel very welcome by the owners. Our room was of high standard,it was clean and smelling fresh. The breakfast is excellent value,and the food is cooked fresh for you. The evening meals are cooked to a high standard,you have to pay extra,but very good value for money.

Everything was perfect.

Friendly,Family run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble,for Claire and her Mum Kitty. They accommodated my Son with his food choices. Room was of a very high standard,clean and comfortable. Great Location.Evening meals are extra,but very good value.

Me and my Son liked everything about the Ivydene,this was our second stay here.

Excellent breakfast and catered for my needs being diabetic also a good range from cereal, toast, drinks and full English breakfast was fantastic. .the staff were really welcoming and friendly, home from home and very helpful. ..the room were warm and cosy and the mactress was very comfortable and didn't want to get up lol .... when you come back evening you could go in the bar and sit in front of a cosy fire and nice with a pint and very nice family , I would definitely recommend there guest house to anyone. ..

Nothing I didn't like , it was a fabulous stay

breakfast was really nice, and the room was what we expected clean and tidy plenty of tea and coffee. staff were great, happy to help and down to earth, the making of a fantastic family business ,enjoyed our stay.

could of done with a fan in our family room , didn't ask for one ,so may be our fault!

Breakfast was really good, hot, tasty lots of variety and a great selection of cereals. Selection of tea coffee and fruit juice. Very good service and swift. Had an excellent evening meal, again great swift service. Throughout the visit, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

The room was lovely, clean, everything you need food excellent staff very friendly and helpful, definitely staying here again

There was nothing I didn't like apart from not a lot of space to park but manager was helpful telling us about weekly parking at car park
