The Sherwood is located in an ideal position, and for those who know Skegness was just 150 yards from the clocktower. It was very clean and the owners Rob and Linda were very friendly and welcoming and served up a lovely breakfast. The room we had on the first floor wasn't very big, but it was cosy and the room service was very good. Thanks Rob and Linda for a lovely stay X

There is nothing to dislike about this B & B it is fantastic value for money. Just one thing to be aware of, there are only 3 parking bays in the front of the Sherwood for guests and it's first come first served. Whilst there is free street parking available, there is a park opposite which gets quite busy so the spaces soon get full if the weather is fine.

Quiet and central just being out of the town, easy parking across the road. Seafront 5 minute walk. Room had everything in, clean and tidy, storage was good, but the decor a bit dated and tired, access to an iron and ironing board, Breakfast was at a good time, dining room clean table set out nicely, hosts very friendly breakfast served in good time, choice of cereal and yogurt, good full English, pot of tea and coffee and toast a filling breakfast.

They was nothing that we didn’t like there. Could not fault them.

Breakfast was excellent, fresh and hot. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Finding a place to stay that can accommodate my mum's health needs can be tricky at times. But the hosts made you feel at home and were fantastic. It was the little personal touches that they added to their service that really set them apart from other B&Bs. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to many.

Just a small suggestion... Possibly a selection of herbal teas in the room...just to add a bit of variety from the tea and coffee 😉

Breakfast was lovely, choice of Cereal, Yoghurt and full English, or you could choose. Bedroom and Bathroom was clean, nicely presented and quiet. No door slamming or noise could be heard from other rooms, very quiet inside and outside of an evening, located just down from the main road, Central for everything, was able to park out the front and leave our car all week. Walking distance and great Bus service.

Just wish smokers would be more considerate and move away from doors and windows when standing outside. (But that happens in most places)

the location is brilliant, you can cut through the park opposite to get straight to the bars/arcades etc. The property is very homely and the bed was really comfortable. I was worried about checking in past the regular hours but the owners sent me access instructions by text and left our keys in the rooms for us, all round smooth experience would stay there again.

Only negative I found with the room was that the shower pressure is really low, I was on the top floor in a deluxe double but my friends on the 1st floor said theirs was as well, the bathroom was really nice though

Good breakfast. Good location. Linda & Rob are a likeable couple who seem to be always busy. Good setup for arrivals where you punch a number in keypad for entry, then you get your key with fob for entry for rest of stay

Only downside was the room was in the attic, with no view or seating arrangements, apart from the bed, Would have been better with normal double bed with a couple of chairs instead of King size bed & no chairs. Otherwise nice clean room & good size bathroom

Excellent breakfast with the eggs cooked the way we liked. Location wise, couldn't fault it. Not far back from town centre when you have bags full of shopping. Owners were very friendly.

Shower cubicle was a bit small but it was hot and worked so no complaints there.

Nice B & B in a terrific location, just around the corner from almost everything. The bed was really comfy and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Steep narrow stairs and small towels.

The really nice thing about the place is it's got style throughout at a very reasonable price. It's clean, the shower is great. Breakfast is superb. The owners do a grand job, well done.

The owners were brilliant, just really lovely people. The room was decorated very nicely and the bathroom was was larger than what I was expecting (room 10). The breakfast was very tasty and there was an option of cereals avaliable.
