Everything was just how we wanted it ..Lovely comfortable beds ..tea n coffee was there if you needed it too..We have twin beds as my partner and I suffer with physical problems..at least this way we get some sleep!! Definitely would go back and it was in a great location ..close to shops ,beach in fact everything was all close by . Sue and her husband are a lovely couple and we was never stuck with anything ..we only had to ask and it was done !! Maybe next time if it was available for us personally ground floor might be better as we bit older now ..and really it just might be better for us ..but all the same everything was lovely anyway and we’d were real happy ..Thank you Sue and Ken for your kindness and for just being you..

Nothing not to like!!

The room and was lovely and clean but shower hadn’t been cleaned shower screen was dirty , the owners were lovely and friendly

There was parking on the front of the hotel , which I parked in , then one one of the guests parked in front of my car and blocked me in , I addressed this to the owners , saying if I needed to get out in an emergency I couldn’t ,they just said the owners of the car was only there till Tuesday , this was Sunday , I felt they could have asked them to move into a space next to mine . But never mind holiday over now

Perfect location, the house looked very unkempt from the outside, windows/entrance very dirty. The room was nice and big, had been decorated, the bathroom was very good, fabulous very big shower. Downside, the bedding really let it down, very old and worn, threadbare which was a shame! headboard in poor condition, with the covering ripped and torn. Stayed 2 nights, no room service or replacement of milk ect, although on check in they did say, ring if we wanted anything!!

Lovely guest house,situated a very short walk from the sea front.Very friendly hosts,Kevin and Sue,made us welcome from arrival,and we were able to book in early.We had a large room on the top floor which was ideal for the two of us and labrador.Also a nice spacious breakfast room,with a terrific full English breakfast served each day.We were helped with the baggage on arrival to go upstairs and the same was offered on departure.A great place to stay.....Get yourselves booked in,you know it makes sense !!

We have stayed here previously and vowed to return, which we did. Close enough to beach, the main shopping area and train station. A bonus for us is that it is dog friendly as we now have a dog. Milk etc.. were available when needed with no need to disturb owners. We have had two lovely rooms at this property.

Nothing to dislike for us

Lovely and clean. Lovely, friendly owners. Great distance from dog friendly area of the beach. Brilliant stay.

It was a little bit of a struggle to be going up 2 flights of stairs regularly, especially when having to go up and down to take the dog out to let him potty, would have been nice if the family room was on a lower floor.

The owners were amazingly helpful and friendly. The room was great. And what an amazing price in the school holidays. It's in a great location. Your a 2 minute walk from sea front and peir, the town shopping centre. Parking provided. Will definatley want to stay at the Glendale for any future holidays to skegness. Highly recommend staying at the Glendale.

We gladly enjoyed the clean room and quietness, as well as the view from the window. We liked how there was a bed for everyone and no-one had to share a bed and how I was quite close to places we wanted to see!

While we were using the shower the water turned hot very quickly it almost burned me. We also saw how we can not turn the hot water cold and warm we had to used the cold tap water! It was very unpleasant.

The owners were warm and friendly, the room was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and if you needed anything all you had to do was ask. All in all, and excellent stay, we will definitely be returning.

The room and breakfast was great. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. No request was to much trouble. Every need was met.

The only fault I had was when booking it stated it had a fully stocked bar. But the bar shut because of covid. That was one of the reasons for picking the glendale. But saying that I would definitely stay again.
