Southview Park Hotel

I liked the hospitality and the breakfast was really delicious

The down fall is the toilet when you flush it's really hard to flush and need to keep pressing over and over again also the cleaners came to change the towels and bedding but never vacuumed the rug

comfy bed , nice view from window staff very helpful I asked if I could have a extra pillow it was put in my room straight away the light went in bathroom that also was fixed the breakfast was lovely choice of cereal toast fresh fruit and yogurts fruit juice and cooked breakfast { help your self } the rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels . there is a bus stop which runs every half hour out side hotel to go into Skegness it cost £2.00 so very reasonable goes into bus station for shopping and the beach

We come here every time we visit Skegness, and its our favourite hotel. The view is lovely from the balcony, and close to restaurants but very quiet which we love . The breakfast was nice and quick the service of the people working there were lovely and welcoming and the place was clean and tidy

This the first time we have some negatives the jet bath didn't work very well the button on the bath didn't work so my husband had to flick it on/off by the fuse switch on the wall good job he is tall because I couldn't reach it , also the jets on the bath the covers were missing and it was slightly dirty inside. The coffee part wasn't filled and only had limited tea and coffee. The breakfast was minium only fried breakfast and toast when we got there in the morning which was slightly disappointing because normally when we come there is a lot of selection so me and my husband only had limited option

the room and view was lovely very clean as usual, the breakfast is always superb and The location is spot on.

this was nothing to do with the hotel but the disrespectful guests in room 238 who was playing loud mucic kids playing football in corridor and the mother do her hair out on the corrisor. banging doors. I did mention this to reception but could not be moved as full but the lady on reception said she would send up security but i didnt want to make a fuss as only just arrived. Like I said the hotel staff was more than helpfull I would always recommend I think its one of the best in skegness

It was a beautiful hotel, the room was great. I loved that there was a bathtub. My baby son loved the pool as well.

The cost of the drinks especially the cocktails. I ordered a cocktail at both the show bar and the boat restaurant next to the pool and it was given in tiny martini glasses for what was a quarter glass of drink for over 8 quid. Ridiculously appalling. Atleast use a proper martini glass. A L so the fruit salad at breakfast in the hotel was fermenting, that's how off it was. Thankfully the staff was lovely enough.

Loved the hotel, smelt clean throughout, room was beautiful inside and so clean one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in! Staff were helpful,happy, and polite.

Dont like complaining or putting people down however the following ruined our stay a little so points to improve- Jacuzzi bath looked incredible however the jacuzzi part didn't actually work and nobody informed us of this which was highly disappointing we really looked forward to this as a couples night off :( breakfast wasn't very appealing either cold and didn't taste great, long black hair in the mushrooms.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, close enough to enjoy Skegness but also at a distance to have peace. The setting was peaceful, relaxing and lovely to walk around/look out of the window. The facilities in the park were brilliant, with everything you could need if you have a family, from swimming to the amusement arcade. The lift was a fantastic asset as we have children with additional needs.

We booked two rooms for our family, and even though my room could be connected with another, my family was over the hallway, which was frustrating. Breakfast was busy, and as a mother with children with additional needs, it was challenging to negotiate the small area where the buffet was. This didn't affect our overall enjoyment.

Lovely welcome by the receptionist. She was very helpful and accompanied us to our room to double-check everything we had asked for had been left in our rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable, Fan also in the room which was needed as a very warm weekend. Bar tenders on both days and evenings were very friendly. Breakfast on both mornings was very nice, plenty of choice. Actual fresh mushrooms. We needed a table for 6 people, not a problem at all. Resturant staff were professional and helpful. Lots to do if you have children. Perfect location if you don't want to stay in skegness itself. On checking out, the receptionist was again helpful and very professional.

The room we had was over the front entrance and got a bit noisy later on in the evening as it's a smoking area. So, we had to keep our windows closed. Plugs in the sink and bath, not holding water, we did report this. Could offer a better option at breakfast for vegetarian and vegan. What was on offer was nice. Only butter for toast, etc. Not great if you are vegan or dairy intolerant. Also a choice of an oat milk of some sort.

Rooms are clean and comfortable staff in general very friendly and helpful breakfast was good

Bar prices are expensive but to be expected at a hotel. I was paying £10.04 for 2 pints with a dash of lemonade in one which wasn’t charged for but on the final visit to the bar it was £11.18 when I questioned this the bar person ( Mark was his name I think, he was wearing a t- shirt with security on the back) was very rude and unhelpful and clearly didn’t want to be there telling me it was that price and that was it all other bar staff throughout the day and night had all been so nice he let the side down.

The onsite area with activities is great and trikes to ride around the park. My son thoroughly enjoyed the crafts, as I did and the trikes. The buffet breakfast is very good, lots of choice and included in the price of the room Staff pleasant, welcoming as always, and very attentive. Loads of free onsite parking Free wifi Liked the pizza box as never ate from there before. Large site, my son loved the little park and looking at the ducks Large double bed very comfy

The room could have been cleaned a bit more as a few bits on the carpet and mold on the bath mat. The onsite restaurant is always very busy, and they run out of food but never advised what they are short of. You go to order food, and it's unavailable, which is annoying if you've been sitting there for half hr Pull out bed very uncomfortable and wobbly, so didn't use it
