Our room was very good. It was large and the view was superb. The bed was large and comfortable and there was more than ample storage with the wardrobe and chest of drawers. The hotel bar was good and the staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating.

I won't say we didn't like this, just an observation. The room's decor was a bit dated, but that did lend to its charm. The bathroom had a few issues that needed repair - sink was cracked, tub surround was also cracked and the faucets on the sink and tub both required many rotations before they came on. Getting hot water to the shower on Monday morning was difficult as well. The carpark is large, but is in need of repair. It is very bumpy.

The views are superb - better than any other hotel in the area inclufing The Carlyon Bay and the Pier House hotel in Charlestown. Visitors staying at the hotel during my whom I came into contact with, all seemed relaxed and in the main chose to come back for an evening meal when there were a lot of alternative restaurants of quality nearby.

i live locallyI probably had the cheapest double room in the hotel but it had a double be - bedding crisp and clean and the room was cleaned enery day and tea/ coff ee refilled The paintwok was a bit jadad but it wasn’t not clean. The noise of water flowing the pipes in other rooms seemed to flow through my room and as I retire esrly that was a bit annoying but not the end of the world

its position! The perfect view of a wonderful bay and on a quiet private road. Everybody we talked to who stayed there seemed to feel the same. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the manager and owner George, was in the bar, most evenings chatting to people.

it was a three star hotel, and there were one or two little areas which looked a little shabby, but quite honestly it didn’t matter. They had been struggling with the Covid situation and its aftermath and were frankly slightly understaffed, but that’s all added to the friendliness of the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Great location and lovely views. Really handy that there is a pub/restaurant on site. Polite friendly staff, lovely generous breakfast. Very clean and tidy room, my room was massive too - I booked a double for just myself and it was huge!

Only slight downsides were I asked for the veggie breakfast, and it not only came as described, but added pork sausage and bacon (good job I'm not actually a veggie, but it was a bit surprising!) And recommend taking earplugs as was unfortunately woken up around 6am every morning to noise from what I presume was staff preparing for breakfast time lots of crashing and talking but I forgot to bring earplugs, and can't be helped as only doing their job :) All in all, great stay thank you!

The location was a very lovely surprise (as the sea - which I love) was closer than I had imagined The location was also perfect as it was in very close proximity to the Eden Project, my main reason for staying there The facilities were lovely, the views were so tranquil and lovely The staff were friendly and incredibly welcoming, and helpful. Getting a chance to interact with George, the owner, who was approachable, friendly and funny, was a bonus. The food was delicious! I had sea bass and the sticky toffee pudding (twice)!it was simply mmmhhhhhhh All being well, I will definitely be back and have already been recommending it to friends and family. :)

Nothing really. We honestly had such a lovely stay.

Stayed 2 nights for a business trip so just needed a small room. Last minute booking in late June do prices were going through the roof and not much available but there was a single en suite at PA. Had everything I needed and was within budget. Lovely location overlooking the sea so fantastic view from the bar. Very nice and friendly staff. Had dinner there on second night ( too late arriving first night) and it was excellent so my compliments to the chef. Would happily stay again.

Shower was a bit weak - I do like a powerful shower and I am probably spoilt at home - but adequate.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views. Lovely gardens with plenty of seating. We stayed in the hotel suite, which overlooked the most beautiful sea views. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after our needs. The owner George and his partner were very friendly too and run the bar in the evenings while socialising. Food was good, and everything was clean. Perfect location

Nothing we didn't like but feel there could be more variety on the restaurant menu, although the food was very good. And more variety on the breakfast buffet.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was fantastic, served hot, fresh pot of tea made when we arrived down each morning for breakfast the dining room tables were cleared and cleaned after each customer had finished breakfast.. the cleaners came in each morning after we had gone out for the day, made the beds, tidied the rooms and replenished the tea bags, sugars and milk. The location was beautiful and plenty of parking.

The cold tap on the wash basin, the water pressure was nonexistent, some updating needs to be done to the decorating, the curtains were very tired looking in our room, we didnt have a view from our room but then we only booked the standard room.

The scenery where the hotel is located is absolutely beautiful. We stayed there for 2 nights and had breakfast included which had a range of cereals, juice and English breakfast. The staff were very nice and always checked if we needed anything.

We used Booking.com and even though we selected that there will be a 3 year old child with us, our reservation was only for 4 adults. Luckily, the staff were able to move us to a different room with a double bed and 2 bunk beds, for an extra £30, so be very careful when selecting the room.
