Everything exceeded our expectations, the room and en suite were really nice, clean and tidy with everthing we needed and more. Parking on site was great and The Chapel is sited really central so all the places we wanted to visit were not too far away which was ideal. The owners were very friendly and helpful and in the room was information with suggestions on the best places to eat locally which were very useful. The breakfast was really great and set us up for the day with plenty of food really well cooked and presented. Nothing was too much trouble and anything we asked for was met without hesitation and so we cannot recommend The Chapel House highly enough as the owners go out of their way to make sure we had a really enjoyable stay.

My daughter & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Chapel Guest House. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Tracey & Richard. They were very friendly and gave us lots of valuable information about places to visit around the Carthew / St. Austell area. Our lovely room, was light (love the big original Chapel window), clean and very comfortable. Great shower. Every morning we looked forward to our breakfast, which was excellent and set us up for the day. We would highly recommend and very much hope to stay again. There wasn't anything to dislike.

What a delight this stay was, especially the spacious room and comfortable bed. Friendly greeting from the owner as we arrived. thoughtful touches throughout the room and bathroom. (Bonus points for the Lindt chocs!) We were a little worried at first about traffic noise from the road at night, but it didn't bother us at all. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for a light or full breakfast. Location was good with easy access and good off road parking.

a very minor niggle that doesn't detract from our stay at all, but a few more hooks or shelves in the bathroom for our things would be great.

The accommodation is easy to find just off the main road. On arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Tracy and immediately felt at home. The room was spotlessly clean and contained lots of storage. The bed was very comfortable with extra blankets if needed. The en-suite was spotlessly clean with complimentary toiletries and fluffy towels. Tea/coffee/biscuits were provided. Theses were replenished each day. Even had a chocolate left on the bedside table! The welcome pack had lots of information, including a pre-order breakfast form. Breakfast was amazing! There was a good selection of juices, cereals, pastries, yoghurt and fruit along with traditional cooked breakfast or just a bacon bap. Toast and a selection of jams, marmalades, and lots of tea/coffee. Having spent three nights at The Chapel guesthouse, I couldn't fault a thing! l would not hesitate to stay again.

This little gem was an amazing stay. We stayed in 2 rooms 1 double and 1 twin and they were spacious and lovely and clean. Our hosts were amazing and friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The pre order breakfasts were equally fantastic and we stayed full until tea time! Location was close to all amenities only 10 minutes from eden project and charlestown and beaches 15 mins away. The kids and us didn't want to leave.

Excellent little guest house in a converted chapel. Our room was very very nice indeed. It was split level with very high ceilings. The breakfast could not have been better either. It was on a quiet back road into St Austell, in a steep deep valley.

The only negative things were that the nearest pub was a short walk away but there was no foot path on the narrow tight road. We were almost hit by a van on our return to the guest house. It put us off going to the pub again. Of course that is not the fault of the guest house, but does need to be kept in mind.

Location was 10 mins away, by car, from key places of interest to visit, Charlestown (harbour, pubs, arty shops, plenty of parking), Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan plus much, much more. Breakfast we had was a fry up which was excellent; the best I have had. Hosts were helpful and polite/friendly.

The location was perfect for our trip to the Eden Project and was also great for heading to Charlestown, where we had our evening meal The property was beautifully furnished and there were lots of nice touches in the room, nothing forgotten and more than you would get in a top hotel in many cases. Breakfast was made to order and had choices for all tastes - delicious! And the hosts were lovely and friendly too!

There really wasn't anything that we didn't like!

Tracey and Richard were so friendly and welcoming, made us feel like we were visiting friends rather than staying at a guest house. Beautifully decorated, ample parking, free Wi-Fi was high speed, generously portioned delicious breakfast included with our stay, the list goes on! We were given a detailed booklet of suggested eateries, things to do, points of interest, etc. in our room which was really helpful as that, plus recommendations from Richard, helped us to decide on where to eat during our stay and if we'd stayed longer would have been able to take advantage of everything the area has to offer. It's a great location as it's only a 10 minute drive from Eden Project and Charlestown. Our favourite part was their 20 year old pet cat Jay who welcomed us just as warmly as his owners with little happy chirps and letting us fuss him. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here whilst attending Bryan Adams concert at Eden Project. We can’t put into words just how perfect our stay was. We were greeted with a smile, shown to the most perfect of rooms by Tracy whilst Richard the was setting up the garden bar for pre-concert drinks. From that moment on everything was perfect. Rooms amazing, immaculate property and the most amazing breakfast, you want for nothing. We will definitely return, this place is a little gem, thank you Richard and Tracey for making our stay the most welcoming ever. 10/10
