Springfield Lodge Bed and Breakfast

There was parking on site. Aside from the birds chirping outside in the morning, the location was quiet and peaceful. Our room and the whole property was spotless. The owners, who also live at the property, clearly take great pride in its appearance and they look after it very well. The wifi reception was very good throughout the property. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and very tasty. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There are a good selection of restaurants in Stirling Town Centre for evening meals, as well as a large Tesco for groceries. Closer to the property is a pub restaurant but our favourite was an Italian restaurant called Corrierri's Café, which is about half a mile away at Causewayhead.

The location of the property is about a 25 minute walk into Stirling Town Centre. This was fine for us as we like walking and were fully aware of its location before booking. It may not be for everybody, especially if it is raining, but you could always drive or book a taxi.

Everything was exceptional. First-class accommodations. Kevin and Kim were delightful and ensured that we were well taken care of. The room was very comfortable and well apportioned. Both the room and bathroom were very up to date decoration wise and frankly---were something that we would have had in our own home. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful complete with a beautiful view of the mountain range as you look out over the pastureland that is directly in front of the establishment. Well done Kevin and Kim! Thank you for our brief chat this morning during breakfast and just prior to our departure.

Breakfast was custom made, super attentive to details. Kevin is a great host, make feel you welcome and protected immediately. The room was impeccable, so clean, immaculate actually!! Breakfast delicious made by Kim and very custom made according to your needs and very environment friendly!! No waist that what is really needed.Kevin the owner really friendly and helpful. Incredible cleanliness we have ever seen. Gorgeous country side peacefulness and the bed just inviting you to rest. Wallace me monument just out of the windows. Such a lovely stay, beyond our expectations!! Well done to this lovely couple!!

We loved everything about this B&B. Kevin and Kim have an amazing B&B and were wonderful hosts. The home is set up beautifully and is very spacious, welcoming, exceptionally clean and comfortable in every way. There is good reason that all five rooms were booked. There was ample parking, the area was beautiful and quiet yet minutes drive to Stirling Castle and other attractions. In fact other guests walked back from the castle after a full day of sightseeing. Kevin made reservations in advance for our dinner at the excellent Birds and Bees restaurant just a short 5 minute stroll away. Breakfast was served hot and was excellent , served in a lovely bright dining room all on the same floor as 4 of the rooms that also included a very nice sitting area for 2 or more guests to relax. We enjoyed a very pleasant chat in the morning with the other guests as well as our hosts. We hated to leave. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Stirling area. Excellent value!

Absolutely nothing!

Spotless accommodation, genial hosts and a very tasty Scottish breakfast. We had a very comfortable room (no.3) which benefitted from a bath and separate walk-in shower. The B&B was straightforward to find with Googlemaps, and parking was easy. Good country pub a max of 5 minutes walk, and Kevin & Kim kindly booked a table for us. The B&B is on the north edge of Stirling, across the river from the Castle and town centre, but there's a flat, pleasant walking route of about 1.5 miles; you can also walk 1.5 miles in the other direction to reach the Victorian spa town of Bridge of Allan. Or Stirling and BofA easily accessed by car/taxi. Would definitely return :-)

Nothing - suited us perfectly

Wonderful accomodation. Very spacious, clean and modern. If felt like I was at home. Helpful, gracious owners. Wonderful, customized breakfast choices. Quiet surroundings. It is only a little way out of center and they have plenty of parking. It is a central location for holiday. We should have stayed longer. We will come back.

Be sure to read the directions they send. Even when I put in only the postcode as they suggested, Google maps told me I had arrived. But I need to continue straight down the private drive before I saw it.

Beautiful Springfield Lodge is located at the end of a rural, quiet street. Cows and sheep roam the verdant fields and hills, which provided us a lovely pastoral view from our comfortable first floor room each morning. Wallace’s Monument can be seen easily from this fantastic location, and both the monument and Stirling Castle are less than 10 min by car. Falkirk’s famous horse sculptures, The Kelpies, are also only a 25 min drive from the Lodge. In addition, excellent meals are available at an award-winning pub and grill within 2 min walking distance. Kevin and Kim are engaging and attentive hosts! My husband had a sudden, severe leg issue, and Kevin very kindly helped us make contact with the proper health officials. I would also like to add that the linens, towels, bed, breakfasts, and overall cleanliness at the Lodge exceeded all expectations! Thank you, Kevin and Kim!

Well situated just outside Stirling, which meant it was quiet and peaceful, however was well situated to get out and about to do touristy things. The host was very pleasant and friendly. The room was amazing - very modern and comfortable. A home away from home! The bathroom was amazing - a large double shower. All amenities as listed on the booking.com website. The breakfast was great with cooked items done fresh and rest served as "help yourself". We loved our stay here!

Friendly hosts, super clean, simple but modern decore, very comfortable beds, very efficiently run/ well organised. Quite, peaceful location but easy access to Stirling on foot ( for us as we like a walk). Good home cooked brekkie!

Nothing. It was great for a 1-3 night stay in area to discover Stirling ( charming old town, lovely area). Go to Bridge of Allan ( good restaurants)

Springfield was an exceptional stay! Our room was immaculately clean, spacious and very comfortable. We has a room on the larger side and it was great for us! Kevin, the host, was warm, welcoming and accommodating! He doted around us for breakfast to make sure we had everything and kudos to his wife for the excellent breakfast! This accommodation was a stone-throw away from central Stirling and the perfect pitstop for us! Not only was the accommodation perfect, so was the location and everything else!
